I feel like I’m the only person with curly hair that doesn’t want huge volume on day 1. I like it extremely well defined no frizz on day 1 and after pineappling the first night, I have a ton of volume on day 2 and beyond.
Same my hair naturally has a lot of volume on Day 1.

OMG, you have changed my curls with the first combo using the keracare/ mousse/gel and the combo using the curls/briogeo/gel. I get the best wash and gos with those two combos. I will be trying the other two combos. Curlsmith had a little sale this weekend and I did pick up the weightless air dry cream and there deep conditioners. I would like to say thank you for all your videos. If I need to know anything or try a product I also go straight to your video, so I just wanted to say THANK YOU.

So I recently tried the curl boss after seeing this video and I paired it with the blueberry bliss leave in for my wash n go today. I just have to say that I loved the results. This weather has been so hot where I live that none of my products have enough hold, but this gel gave me the hold and cast I've been missing, but still gives me a bit of volume
Im dying to try Keracare!! The fact that I hear good things and their products are inexpensive is a plus.

love this video! don't know if you've ever tried Love Beauty and Planet before but they have plant based products and sulfate, paraben, etc free stuff. I used their products when transitioning and found their coconut milk & white jasmine shampoo and conditioner because they dont use harsh chemicals and its made my hair feel so good and moisturized now that its natural again
I’m definitely going to keep some of these products in mind. We booked a cruise for next year and I decided I’m not taking a hair dryer. Im going to purchase a universal diffuser and use the hairdryer from the cruise. This is huge for mr because I’ve been doing the keratin treatment since 2007 so I can style my unruly curly hair. I have not done the keratin treatment since 2019. Im happy that my hair has been doing so much bette since I stopped the keratin treatment.
My perfect wash and go is Uncle Funky’s Daughter Curly Magic and Mielle Coil Sculpting Custard but I will definitely try these together
Great video and definitely will venture and try mixing gels. I currently use the curlessence brand, BOMB!, the curls blueberry line up and the Mielle mousse...All amazing! Your videos have helped me on my curly girl journey, thank you! Since you like the Camille Rose curl maker from a consistency perspective, would you consider the curlessence jelly? Had that sticky feel and works well.
I think I might start to use gel again on my wash days; switch it up a little.
The Curls Blueberry Bliss was my first leave-in conditioner and will always be a go-to for me because my hair loves it! I'm happy to see that you love it too! And I haven't found a gel that works as well as the old school ECO styling gel with olive oil. That combination leaves my hair so soft and curly. (I used Deva Curl for about 3 years, but I came home.) I'm curious about some of these product combinations to change things up on my soft, fine curly hair. Thanks! Your channel is very informative and one of my favs! But the music is a no for me. :)

I tried the first combo. The keracare is amazing! I wasn’t crazy about the mousse and ouidad gel at first cause it took a while to dry but my wash and go came out great! Hardly at frizz, I didn’t need to stretch my curls, good volume, great definition, and I feel it’s going to last a few days. I also skipped the oil which I think helps for some reason. Thanks!

My hair hates coconut oil by itself, but if I product has coconut oil somewhere on the list and has water as the first ingredient it usually doesn’t mind it.
Curl maker was my HOLY GRAIL for years UNTIL I tried Mielle’s Pomegranate & Honey curl sculpting custard.. I couldn’t believe anything could replace Curl maker

I really wanna love the keracare leave in but I think my hair doesnt like glycerin so high on the ingredient list or coconut oil. I need to try this combo 🤞🏼
Tip on mixing gels is to check the ingredient list for PVP because that tends to cause flaking!
Same. My hair hates coconut oil, and glycerin cannot be in the top five ingredients or in every product I use that day. Alyssa's hair is bomb, though! Curlsmith products are everything!!! Especially the hydro soothing mask. So worth the price.
Hi Alyssa did you have a particular technique when your hair was shorter. I went back over your older videos and it didn't seem as though unless I missed it. I am at the twa phase and trying to grow out.

Because of you I stopped using shampoo. All my old bottles of shampoo are now used to clean my bathroom and they work great! Think about that.....

When you say that you “mix the gels” do you mix them together in your hands and apply or do you apply one on top of the other? Or does it not make a difference 😂🤣 I might be overthinking this LOL!
If I remember correctly she apply one on top of the other. I don’t think she literally mixes them in her hand.
That KeraCare Curlessence leave in is Killer moisture. Moisture for Life!!!!! Just saying.
I need to try Keracare also, are they Black owned? Trying to really represent, but definitely want to try something new... Shea moisture and Kinky curly have been my go to, but as my hair gets longer I do want other options..
As far as leave-ins go, Curls Blueberry Bliss is amazing!!! I like that and there hair wash (basically a cow ash that suds). Cantu’s texture line is pretty nice as well, particular the mask, leave-in, and the Soothing Shampoo. I do like the Mane Choice’s POW Collection too, but I know that line isn’t for everybody. I also have some review on products on my channel, so feel free to check them out as well!

I have tried the Curl Maker so many times, in so many ways. I wish my hair likes it. I keep hearing lots of good comments about this product but when I put on my hair I always end up with flakes, puffy hair and no definition. I already tried clarified before, I tried on soaking wet hair, I tried on damp hair, I tried with the curl love, with the almond butter, the butter gel, I even got the curl refresh leave in from Camille Rose to try again. Nothing works with the curl maker for me. 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
I know that’s gotta suck. But every product isn’t for everybody. Have you tried Uncle Funky’s Daughter? I heard the gel is a great alternative to the Curl Maker!

Hers is high porosity I think. I’m pretty sure she has 1-2 videos on her channel about it.
