Thanks - just got a starter plant and am planning on how to help it through chilly northern Irish winters! Very helpful.

    Hello Alan,
I live in Canada and grow my outdoor plants on my balcony during summer and some of them indoor in winter. Winter is very cold in Quebec compare to the west coast of Canada. I don’t have much space in my flat and no sun at all entering by the windows during winter. I use grow lights for most of my plants from november until april, but space is limited. Last year I bought a fig tree that was growing on my balcony during all summer. When very cold temperatures started around november I’ve put it in my kitchen fridge to keep it in dormancy. It worked very well. It’s now growing very fast on my balcony. I would like to know if I could do the same with the lemon verbena I grow in pot? Do you think lemon vebena will be able to support being in a fridge at 2c- 3c for 5-6 months like it was for my fig tree? Will it be going in dormancy or will it die? Thank you so much.

Thank you, very informative, just what I was looking for. To me, the music was very distracting.

Thank you great video. I brought mine in a few weeks ago they’ve started sprouting new leaves from the top lol bottom leaves are falling off. Should it be doing this?

Thanks for the tips, I would like to keep one producing fresh leaves for tea all year round how many hours of grow light does it need? :-)
