I lost my dad 5 months ago and I went from joyful and outgoing to quiet and isolating myself . Loosing someone so close does affect the mind and body and not just like emotions. Everyone’s expects you to be fine after a couple of weeks and you’ll go back to your old self but it never happens (idk if that makes any sense) so I understand that Tom loosing his dad at such a young age made his behaviour worse
I'm so sorry about your dad. I lost mine when I was 36 and it effected me in the same exact way. It's been 8 years and I still haven't gone back to how I was, but nor do I want to. In my particular case it's been a very good thing. I was also the person who found him dead 10mins or so after he passed so there's that aspect of it all as well. I lost my mind over his funeral. I used to be a problem child/naughty child because my mother and stepdad were abusive and neglectful which took its toll and I got kicked out of school when I was in primary but I'm doing a lot better now because I'm living with my other parent
My History and RPE teacher is just like Mr Drew and all the misbehaving kids will get moved into his class because he’s just so good with them, he can’t really improve behaviour like Mr Drew can but he does just get down on their level and accommodate their needs to make sure they’re doing ok
Cam you need to react to banged up from channel 4, tom is actually on that show too and discusses how he felt after being called the naughtiest school boy and how he almost did prison time. Would love to see your reaction 😊
I really love how Cam reacts to these shows. It's a lot more down-to-earth and involved than a lot of other RUclipsrs do, and it's nice to hear a serious opinion on the issues these kids are dealing with.
My daughter has a teacher like Mr Drew! He’s so calm, so kind and he has told them so many times he’s more worried about their mental health rather than their education. He puts their mental health first. Even when he gets “mad,” he’s so kind and calm(I’ve subbed for a teacher Nextdoor to him and he had to come in and help), and gets on a level that’s just brilliant. Every student there adores him and I see why! His students have told him that he makes them feel safe, wanted, and seen. Makes me tear up just thinking about it lol. He’s a 5th grade teacher and I’m amazed at how loving he is, even with the hardest of students! He never raises his voice in anger(he does get louder but only to be heard by the loudest of kids lol), he’s always calm even when the outbursts are tiresome or mean, he’s incredibly understanding, there for his students or any student at his school, he’s always happy and tries to spread joy over anything else. I appreciate him beyond words!
These poor kids are struggling and need a lot of understanding and love. Not all of this is due to bad parenting, but I'd imagine a lot of it is from parenting like the woman that said that they just let the kid have his way and gave him whatever he wanted. That's never going to lead to a well behaved kid. My daughter is 13 and yes, we're friends, but she knows that I don't put up with disrespect (to anyone) and when I ask her to do something, I'm not really asking, I'm telling. However. Respect goes both ways. I speak to her with respect, and she speaks to me, and others, with respect.
My daughter has ADHD and has struggled a lot with emotional regulation the last few years. All the kids just accept her and give her space when she needs it. The parents however give me daggers every time I step foot in the playground. She’s not naughty and doesn’t hurt anybody she just has big emotions and can cause a scene sometimes but you’d think I was raising an actual demon with the looks I get 🙄
a lot of kids don't know what they're feeling or how to deal with what they're feeling. sometimes parents also don't know how to deal with their children's emotions, and it gets overwhelming and stressful. i started seeing a counselor when i was 9 after losing my dad because i would lash out and act unruly towards my grandma and older sister. the counselor i saw helped a lot and i ended up going back for a few months after losing my grandpa when i was 13. if you find the right person to help your child realize and control their emotions, it helps in the long-run. play therapists are also a really good option for children, as they can play while talking about how and what they feel.
To add to your comment regarding parents at schools, it definitely is like playground drama. When I was a kid, my mom was a single mother, we lived in a lower class area but the primary school I went to was a bit more “posh”. The higher class parents used to look down on my mom as she was quite young when she had me and for obvious reasons, we stuck out compared to other families who went there. She absolutely hated picking me up from school, as soon as I was old enough, I used to walk home and I really didn’t blame her 😂
You HAVE to do kid nation, the reality tv show where they literally just left a huge group of kids aged 7-13 in a ghost town. They have to find and pump their water, care for and butcher their meat from animals they purposely get the kids attached to first, and cook. Oh, and they’re put into class systems based on competitions ranging from not having to work to cleaning the outhouses.
I didn't know Mr. Drew had his own summer school! Cam Kirkham educating doughnuts by showing that Mr. Drew will be let into Heaven, purely to stop the angels from pranking poor St. Peter every Tuesday.
"Educating naughty kids can be incredibly challenging and sometimes feels like an uphill battle. It's tough to balance discipline with compassion, especially when you're dealing with behaviors that seem downright rebellious. Some days, it feels like no matter how much effort you put in, you just can’t reach them. But I truly believe that each challenge is an opportunity for growth, both for the child and for the educator or parent. Finding the right strategies to connect with these kids is crucial; it’s not just about punishment but about understanding the underlying issues that lead to their misbehavior. I’ve learned that patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement can make a significant difference over time. It’s important to remember that these kids might be acting out for various reasons, and showing them that someone cares can often lead to breakthroughs in their behavior. So while it might seem brutal at times, every effort counts and can eventually help guide these kids towards a better path. Keep pushing through, because the reward of seeing a transformed child is worth it!"
British Child Behavior is one of my favorite tv genres. I was *just* re-bingeing House of Tiny Tearaways. My husband comes from the other side of the house to ask what the heck I am watching with so much screeching.
Hey Cam, just wanted to let you know. I was a demon as a child! Easily worse than the majority of these kids featured! I wont go into my mental health here 😄 My wife has ADHD, she missed a fair bit of school due to having heart issues (Ended up having open heart surgery) she had so many issues with detached retinas, then bloody dyslexia on top! So yeah, there's a decent mixture of demon & disabilities between us... Our son? He's absolutely F'N awesome! Properly chilled out, rarely gets upset or actually angry. Obsessed with learning, actually takes in information too 😄 You always come across as such a nice bloke, when you were talking about these kids? You've clearly got a good idea about why they behave the way they do etc. You'll smash it no worries.
When i was born i almost died but a nurse saved my life my parents already had had 2 kids so i didnt get spoiled but its understandable how they reacted that way
cam, i can actually resonate with clark, I lost my first wife to cancer when she was 29, my sons at the time were 9, 4 and 7 months old, clark kind of reminds me of my 9 year old at that time, wrong I know but at that time I treated him more as a friend and less like a son, but he's 29 now and he's turned out great he's a head chef now
Kids don't have empathy, it doesn't fully develop until late teen I think? I've got 3 kids and they CAN be utter psychopaths! I also remember how evil I was when I was young!
Idk if that's true for most kids because my cousins and other kids that we used to manage and look after at school are not like that, can be true tho for very rowdy kids but we only get probably 3 of those in a classroom so definitely not the norm and these kids tend have the similar family background and environment that are either terrible parents, bully siblings, came from a bad neighborhood or low income household, or doesn't have parents and live with their grandparents. It's the combination of these that make young kids like this.
This TV show is like looking back in time and realising that i was pretty much the same in school as what these kids are like but only diffrence is i actually did treat my parents with the respect they should get
I had to go to summer school a LONG while back for 2 weeks and it wasnt even for behaviour, im one of the best behaved out of my family. but it was strange and i was so mad i wouldnt talk to my mom for 2 weeks to make up for the time i lost 😂
I have 3 kids and I will tell you the school yard isn’t fun and it is very cliquey, I just drop off and go not here for that. Also I was a parent of a “naughty child” before he got diagnosed with Autism. It was awful as some parents are just so judgemental!
Mr Drew moved to mine and my siblings secondary school in Cambridge, my brother said they weren’t allowed to ask him about Educating Essex otherwise they’d get in trouble. 😂😂
Cracking up about the Mohawk comments. My brother had a Mohawk briefly, and I mean briefly, when he was a child. My mom called it the “thirty minute Mohawk” because she shaved it off within an half hour because of how naughty he became with it!
Reminds me of the investigation into a special needs school where the teachers were secretly recorded saying they beat the kids and want to drown them in a tub
I spoil the hell out of my daughter. But she is such a great kid on her own because she knows how to act right... why? Because im not afraid to put her in her place. Kids need to respect their parents. So if you dont make that known, then yes they will walk all over you. But if I had a boy like that i would give him so much love because i think that is what he is missing. Like, don't spoil him with what he wants. Spoil him with love and care
That's taken directly from “The Bad Seed.” My Grandmother chose to teach “the Bad Boys class that was also perma-detention. All the boys she cultured, taught manners, love, proper written+spoken English! The Mayora+Senators she reared were in her room when she was dying unconscious, just on life support. She knew who was there. Sometimes it only takes 1 Phenomenal Woman, National Treasure, my uni chum(no BS?!)+if only she had a larger reach the world would be a far better place! Hear that?! That’s her+yes u will write the dictionary +definitions 5x’s each! “Start where u left off.” Mensa Member… +anything, that is good in me. R.I.P. Who dies on April Fools Day?!

Clark is one of those kids who will end up on the top of the world or at absolute rock bottom.
Perfect video to add to my all nighter youtube marathon 😪 thanks cam!!
This TV show is like looking back in time and realising that i was pretty much the same in school as what these kids are like but only diffrence is i actually did treat my parents with the respect they should get
I had to go to summer school a LONG while back for 2 weeks and it wasnt even for behaviour, im one of the best behaved out of my family. but it was strange and i was so mad i wouldnt talk to my mom for 2 weeks to make up for the time i lost 😂
id love to see the rest of this show but its be so cool to see u interview clark!!
Nah that haircut is criminal 😂😂😂
I love reading the thumbnails because theyre so ridiculously out of context 😂
Love these kind of eps from you, Cam. 😊
I have 3 kids and I will tell you the school yard isn’t fun and it is very cliquey, I just drop off and go not here for that. Also I was a parent of a “naughty child” before he got diagnosed with Autism. It was awful as some parents are just so judgemental!
Mr Drew lore is always a treat
2:09 I had Brat Vacations so a big thank you to my parents
1:34 was crazy
Cam is so empathetic to these kids, he's going to be a great parent
I remember watching this when it came out, very emotional but very good!
Cam when you have kids, you'll know the feeling! Obviously you don't act on it but you will feel that way at least once!
The video I've been waiting for 😍😍😍
Cam the king donut has graced us all with a amazing vid 🍩
Just did a search for Clark, he’s got a RUclips channel and has reacted to episodes of the show! 🤣
Get a collab with Clark mate
Yesss a 20 min educating video!1!1!1 🌸🌷🎀
Mr Drew is a legend
I've wanted cam to watch and react this show for so long
I keep watching these to have a laugh forgetting it will just end with me feeling sad
Cam Kirkham your a legend mate 👏 my new favourite RUclipsr lol
23:00 I reached out to him on ig years ago and ask him how he was and he say he was ok, he was so nice 😊
Wow this guy is great
Mr Drew moved to mine and my siblings secondary school in Cambridge, my brother said they weren’t allowed to ask him about Educating Essex otherwise they’d get in trouble. 😂😂
The irony of ringing 111 for an emergency though 😂😂😂
Cracking up about the Mohawk comments. My brother had a Mohawk briefly, and I mean briefly, when he was a child. My mom called it the “thirty minute Mohawk” because she shaved it off within an half hour because of how naughty he became with it!
God if i were on this id have absolutely cleaned house, im so glad ive mellowed out bc i was such a menace 😭
I would be looking at their diet I reckon it’s loaded with E numbers 😂
Reminds me of the investigation into a special needs school where the teachers were secretly recorded saying they beat the kids and want to drown them in a tub
I spoil the hell out of my daughter. But she is such a great kid on her own because she knows how to act right... why? Because im not afraid to put her in her place. Kids need to respect their parents. So if you dont make that known, then yes they will walk all over you. But if I had a boy like that i would give him so much love because i think that is what he is missing. Like, don't spoil him with what he wants. Spoil him with love and care
love your videos cam ! Keep up the good work ❤❤
That Tom was on a program not long ago where celebrities go into a prison and he was one of the inmates but he’s a really nice lad was really good
That's taken directly from “The Bad Seed.” My Grandmother chose to teach “the Bad Boys class that was also perma-detention.
