Yeah, it's great. There are so many places in the world where we can find people we can get along with over, even though we can't necessarily understand what we're saying to each other. Music truly is amazing.
im a 16 year old black guy from the states, and ive been exposed to more metal than a Viking getting stabbed in the eye socket, but when I found this, I got chills, its awesome that more guys like me are in this world stepping up.
@LivingSinner here you go lost in my own territory, tears cascade and I dont know, all love is lost only hate remains, the misery loves me I have no control chorus: why am I cursed, what did I do, why am i cursed what have I done, why me nooo I am the choosen one, choosen for what I dont know, terrified by my thoughts and nightmares mistery behind life, never seems to end and I am alone
I heard this song nearly 5 years ago and I must say it reminds me of a blend of melodic death/thrash from early 90's! Botswana has got something raw going on!
I've listened to a good number of metal had around 4 thousand tracks on itunes. These guys have their own unique sound and I thought it was slow paced at first, but later on caught on to me and I find it a very attractive sound. Very good.
This is awesome, it would be awesome to see you guys in some support slots or at festivals in Europe or America spreading the word of the African scene
I registered on RUclips just to tell you guys that i find you amazing! Keep up the good work :) If I had know you earlier, i'd have try to come and listen to you while I was in Namibia!
Damn, these guys are HEAVY. This guy has some of the best growls I've ever heard, and I'm an Amon Amarth fan! I doubt they'll ever see this comment, but if you guys ever come to the United States I'll definitely go see you play.
GUYS THIS IS FABULOUS,MY VERY FIRST TIME OF LISTENING TO A BLACK METAL BAND AND FROM AFRICA FOR THAT MATTER.BIG AND HOPE TO SEE YOU GUYS IN EUROPE NEXT SUMMER FOR TOUR OF FESTIVALS.
these guys need international recognition! This is really unique and heavy af! Maybe Phil Anselmo should fund/ organize a tour for these guys around America to make up for his stupid drunken "white power" stunt (smh).. and really I'm not just saying it because of that. These guys are really good! Botswana Metal needs to be heard!
Stefan Matussek Yes, it is, I'm just joking about black metal being unintelligible even for native speakers. I actually can understand them and really like the lyrics, very simples, very clean, very direct, very human. Quite the opposite of another band of the same country, skindread. I somehow like this one better, maybe because the lyrics are much darker. Well, kinda makes sense to be darker, since black/trash metal tends to be darker than reggae metal.
+lloydgush ah sorry I missed the joke :P. thats true.. not just black metal though, grindcore and death metal I find the growling or pig squeeling hard to decypher aswell haha (not that thats always bad)... Yeah I found the lyrics and the video seem to portray something very emotional and human and I like that alot in a metal song, more so than songs about demons and magic or so.
Holy fuck, you guys remind me of early '90s Death Metal (when it fucking reigned supreme!) Please, please, do not change. Please continue to introduce the populace to classic Death Metal.
hopefully you guys can hit up Europe and make your way to the States. You guys will hopfully get much support here. If you come to San Antonio TX, conside a few of us there!!
wow im impressed. Im glad to see im not one of the only black guys who LOVE metal. i am really happy to see that an all black metal band can be as good as an all white metal band. Very good.
Great band from Africa, showing that metal is really strong all around the world! I'm from Brazil and had listened to your first demo already. Very cool stuff, man! Keep on breaking necks in Africa! Metal rules!

Hey, this is Fucking awesome, you guys are really really great, no, are more than great!!!! this is a great example of the metal has no boundaries, nothing like that, i'm from México in my country and Southamerica they are great bands too, but a never expected something like that in Botswana and it's very awesome, this makes me very happy, metal are in all the world, no matter the country, the lenguage, nothing, the metal is everywhere, keep supporting metal brothers of Wrust!
African metals scene must become a sanctuary for those who got sick and bored of the "big money commercial" metal. Raw, harsh and honest sound is a good "selling" point here.
Metal without the influence of corporations. Fuck yes.
Sounds a lot like Sepultura.
yet...

Metal has no borders
Yeah, it's great. There are so many places in the world where we can find people we can get along with over, even though we can't necessarily understand what we're saying to each other.

Botswana really is the last bastion of true, raw metal. Cheers from Venezuela.
im a 16 year old black guy from the states, and ive been exposed to more metal than a Viking getting stabbed in the eye socket, but when I found this, I got chills, its awesome that more guys like me are in this world stepping up.

They deserve more recognition!
I heard this song nearly 5 years ago and I must say it reminds me of a blend of melodic death/thrash from early 90's! Botswana has got something raw going on!
That riff reminds me of early 90s Carcass for whatever reason.
+UZI4YOU i feel the same way
\""/ Not bad at all, still its`s bad as all\""/

I've listened to a good number of metal had around 4 thousand tracks on itunes. These guys have their own unique sound and I thought it was slow paced at first, but later on caught on to me and I find it a very attractive sound. Very good.

1:11 such a fuckin "i taught myself how to play" riff. dudes r sick
My thoughts exactly
It's what I love about a lot of music out of Africa. It's the truth. No fear.
Same reason I like black metal (the genre).
william ritter dude I was thinking that same thing, it's good as fuck though
I think the singer actually taught them all how to play - drummer included.
