It's so awesome to see how worldwide METAL is. I honestly didn't know that Polynesians and island people were into hard music until I saw this. My girlfriend was born and raised in Hawaii and she hardly knew anything about metal until she met me, so I had the impression that they only listened to the usual rap/hip hop stuff down there. But this band proves me wrong and I'm glad!
As I understand it, Polynesians came to trade with Peruvian natives in the Middle Ages. The thought that my ancestors (I'm Peruvian) had contact with the powerful Polynesians fills me with pride

It's so awesome to see how worldwide METAL is. I honestly didn't know that Polynesians and island people were into hard music until I saw this. My girlfriend was born and raised in Hawaii and she hardly knew anything about metal until she met me, so I had the impression that they only listened to the usual rap/hip hop stuff down there. But this band proves me wrong and I'm glad!

As I understand it, Polynesians came to trade with Peruvian natives in the Middle Ages. The thought that my ancestors (I'm Peruvian) had contact with the powerful Polynesians fills me with pride

Even though 90% of the metal bands I listen to are from America or Europe, I’m really liking this big surge of metal bands from “Unusual” countries, especially with how they weave their culture into their music, like how some use their own home language, or incorporate some exotic instruments that’s unfamiliar and foreign to metal, and the big reason I like all of this is that it just works perfectly
