I feel like the way Wonder Woman died so well is telling for what’s to come later. The league all died like they were jobbers except for her which just makes me think that the members we killed were just clones of the real league
@@Ghostly2zhe still is a fan. It’s just how they did things. throughout his walkthrough..he would say things like….“the gameplay is really fun but..”. I agree with him tho, gameplay wise it’s a good game, but the story lacked thought and really felt like a spit in the face to these fan loved heroes.
IMO the game shouldve been a Batman game fighting a compromised justice league or the ending of this game should’ve been the flash apparently not dying in his boss battle but coming back in some way at the end of the game and he created a new Arkham timeline.
I agree 100% with your batman idea it should have been Batman and the suicide squad working together to take down the justice league and then have Batman sacrifice himself against Superman to save the squad
They aren’t dead, I’m 90% sure when people say the league died they didn’t even play the game they looked at out of context leaks/scenes and just automatically assumed
Batman investigating each Justice League member to form his contingency plans, then going after Mr Freeze or Captain Cold to create way to stop Flash, then Scarecrow or Sinestro to make fear tactic to stop Green Lantern, maybe Lex Luthor to get kryponite, and Wonder Woman too. Then Batman fights each of them and saves them. In 3rd act of game we start playing as cured Justice League and stop Brainiac.
They should've just made this a Batman game where he goes one by one freeing each member with his contingency plans and then have Superman be the last one to be freed with a battle between the two leading to Superman killing him but still saving him and have the whole world witness the fight followed by it leading into a new Superman game as the starting plot point of an internal fight for Superman knowing he's the one who did Batman in but not by choice but have it haunt him throughout his game..... But thats just my idea.
The justice league isn't even built up in universe they just added them straight away as villains they should have done some more solo games first and laid connections to this as a big crossover event for the arkhamverse and improved on the story to the point where it was actually decent at least
It doesn’t even have to be so contrived. They literally just needed to make a game focused on a different DC character in the same vein as Arkham. Gotham Knights is this games framework but all Batman - Batman not being the lead isn’t problem! This could’ve even been the SS, but they just took them in a really boring direction.
The JL aren’t dead, they were clones u can go through the game files. The same way he made artificial enemies with their powers, he made copies of them. You can even hear the dialogue for instance after the green lantern with them acknowledging that’s something’s not right. I think game just needs some time and updates to go full circle. In the end I think we’ll be saving all the members. Theirs little hints throughout the game
So people paid 70 dollars but have to wait for the rest of the story to finish later on ? wtf is that. Plus that doesn’t change the fact that the boss fights were garbage
From my experience, I actually kind of liked it. Much better than Gotham knights for me. I thought the banter between the characters was actually pretty good. I agree, some elements were missing, and I think we are all just so attached to Batman in the Arkham series that seeing him go out like that was sad. But I’m keeping an open mind and I wonder what variations of brainiac they’re going to bring with the live service feature, overall this doesn’t touch the Arkham games but this is not a “bad game” it does a lot of things right, and some things wrong
@@oliviamiller1388new to DC…?? Cause it’s called Flash resets a timeline or time travel or something else because the JL has died plenty of times but always comes back
I think That Evil Superman, Batman, The Flash, and Green Lantern where Clones from Brainac's Spaceship but thier also going to find a way to bring Back this version of Wonder Woman as well too also! And also Brainac did tell The Suicide Squad how did you manage to defeat all my own Justice League meaning he created them possibly maybe?
Play the game it’s a more complete game than you think. It’s the greater DC universe way beyond Gotham and the Bat fam which is such a small piece of the grander DC Multiverse
I had a very hard time deciding to buy the game since Batman Arkham fan and I decided to buy the game only to see the last of Kevin conrays role as Batman RIP to him, if I had to rate the game itself is 6.5/10 for me.
Yeah that’s a fair rating. I’m also a huge Batman fan and a huge Arkham fan, I liked this game it was fun and the story was enjoyable for the most part. I’d give it a 7.5-8/10.
can anyone understand that its a suicide squad game NOT a batman game. Thats the only reason people are hating on the game when its actually super fun.
if this is what 8 years gets you 10hour story, repetitive missions, empty world, 4+1 non creative bossfights, Then you truly have failed. No amount of passion being put into it does anything to it. Good review
I'll be honest, since this game revolves around the Multiverse in the end, it opens up what Rocksteady can do; not directly from this game but new plot ideas for whoever hero/antihero they wanna use for the next (technically-not-)Arkhamverse game that'll bring back the old games' action-packed gameplay.
You do know it was only called "Arkham" because of the jail. Arkham in itself in DC is housed to the mentally ill will, sickos, crazy and pure evil people in there. THATS WHAT THOSE GAMES WERE ABOUT, Asylum and City truly capture the feel that it's not about Batman but his relationships with his villains. That's why it was "Batman: Arkham" Asylum & City were perfect locations. Origins and Knight dive away from the to tell an intricate story with Origins being the start of evil and Knight being a play on words with Night and Knight. Arkham Knight is the DARKEST night for evil, hence why it was rated M. So when you say "ARKHAMVERSE" it's a lil off putting. Just say Rocksteady's DC from now talking bout this game
@@LAGator-qu7tcI mean you could call it Rocksteady's DC Universe but the sole reason most fans call it the Arkhamverse is simply because that's what the universe started with (not to mention most spinoff titles reusing the name Arkham), so anything afterwards despite not heavily revolving around Arkham Asylum would still be categorized as an Arkhamverse game/story. It's pretty much the same as the Tomorrowverse in the case of how Superman: Man of Tomorrow was the first film in a "new" DC universe that any other film connected to that Superman film would fit under that coined name.
@@R.J.Productions616 I know that and that's a basic way of looking at it on a surface because it's mindless consumption. Not saying you have to be 100% into things you like but don't try to say this is what it is when it isn't that. Casual's really need to stop thinking their true fans cause they like something. Even if you are a fan, come with the right stuff. Arkham games were SAGAs Of Batman dealing with his rogue gallery. Superman Tommorowverse (never seen it) deals with or plays with the idea of Superman and such in a new iteration that equates to Tomorrowverse. So the goal would essentially be Tomorrowverse DC characters would just have to be new iterations of the times and to the story their trying to tell. So tomorrow is universal and general. Arkham is an exclusive Batman related word that correlates to the house of villains in DC. To call it the Arkhamverse would be saying this is a Villain universe. Which again sounds stupid when in the context of SS, a game about villains... Your logic works on layman and casual terms, but if you look at what I said... It's "BATMAN: ARKHAM" not Suicide Squad: Arkham, not Green Lantern: Arkham.... It wouldn't make since to even call it Arkham to begin with if it was anyone else than Batman. You're restricting your set location and characters when saying that (Arkham is house in Gotham not Metropolis). If Devs had a choice they would rather you say Rocksteady's DC because their going beyond Arkham aka Gotham, aka Batman and to keep calling it the Arkhamverse is kinda disrespectful to them wanting to do new things. In this context it makes sense why Batman died the way he died the studio had to put down a dying a dog because us consumers would've dried that character THIN..
@@LAGator-qu7tcDo you know that though ? Because even when I gave you the most simplified explanation for why people prefer to call a franchise a specific name & even provided other examples, not only do you miss my point but you flat out insult me as a fan like I don't know what I'm talking about
@chandllerburse737 Lol if that was a lot of thought and effort to then I'm sorry you had to read all that 🦘 I said it's basic, not dumb but to me to me its moronic, if you feel offended then....
I'm having a blast! (literally) I had never played the Arkham games because I'm more of a shooter kinda person, so this was much more up my ally. While I understand that this isn't the game that some people hoped for, its one that I can really sink my teeth into with the traversal, weapons and boss fights. Also, being able to explore Metropolis is a huge check mark for me. This game may have its flaws, but it also has its good points. So, feel free to check it out and see it it's for you :)
@@toren2099 i did because im a sucker for rocksteady (not anymore) and are you trying to tell me theres a lot of variety in missions and enemies LMAO get a grip
This is a disappointing mess!!! Overwhelming shooters and live services are not my thing. The gameplay is smooth, the graphics are amazing, the four characters are fun. But the story makes HORRIBLE HORRIBLE decisions! Rocksteady somehow ruined their own Batman and everyone. The game’s content is also uninteresting. This is a disgrace to DC and a bad continuation of the Arkhamverse. I can’t believe Rocksteady made this. I immediately uninstalled it.
The foundation of this game is flawed. They took a premise that I’m not even sure THEY wanted and took it all the way. What have fans been asking for? More Batman, let’s play as Superman, the Flash. Instead they take the opposite of all our favorite hero’s, throw in a random story to make them evil, and have us… the player… kill them. Our hopes and dreams for superhero games from rocksteady were shot to death by a live service game
I really hope there is a dlc in the future you get transported to Gotham and Black canary becomes a playable character and she’s a league member in that universe you team up with her and Batman to take down a new villain.
Black Canary’s probably dead, the invasion has been going on for 3 weeks. Batman says they’ve been hunting down metas and Amanda says we weren’t even their first choice to stop Brainiac…I bet a bunch of heroes have died because of this invasion, TFX is just humanity’s last hope you know?
The Justice League's members will Return in Post Games Season's Storylines a Leak from Rocksteady Games said online yesterday leaking online so the Justice League isn't dead and also the Storyline from Suicide squad Kills the Justice League isn't Completed neither yet Rocksteady Games said!
Personally I feel the same regarding the story. It started veeery strong and then by the end it got a bit stale. I’m interested tho on the future content of the game and to enjoy the gameplay because the game shines in the gameplay. Hopefully the DLC contains more details on the story to maybe… just maybe do better
I will agree that the story left a bit to be desired and a rocky release always hurts, but I really like this game I love the combat, I know I’m in the minority but I really want this game to do well for everyone involved and for those who had such high hopes we will see how the next couple seasons go because I think they will make changes and get this thing back on track we will see though
@@elijahbannis6474yea I know, I’ve seen the concept. It was supposed to be 10 years past Knight which doesn’t make a lot of sense. However now that the JL was established then can probably shift focus back to that Damian idea
He was complaining about them actually killing them off though, I don't know what we were expecting here or if he was naive enough to believe villains would give proper burials or something but I really do think he was ill prepared to play the game and his Justice League Fandom ruined it for himself. Also what's funny about all of this is that those weren't the actual Justice League and everyone but Wonder Woman is still alive and you can still find another WW in another world to replace her.
28 hours in, story finished n man, I just can't stop playing it; The gunplay and movement just scream FUN. I just can't stop. Never knew they'd translate the free flow combat into the form of a TPS shooter this good. Also liked the story, the writting and all. A pretty original Suicide Squad tale. I hope the game stays alive for as long as they can finish the story n we see what'll happen to the JL.
@@tday8340so games like Division, Ghost Recon, Destiny and COD are boring because they are repetitive too ya know? It’s a looter shooter. No variety?? Nah the combat was actually really fun with a full squad. Maybe if you’re by yourself yea it would be boring tho
@@DarkKnightRDX The Division is quite dull. Ghost Recon doesn't seem to have a significant player base. Call of Duty releases a new version annually. Destiny has felt stagnant for a while, and its fan base is shrinking. While the combat might be decent, the lack of variety in missions and enemies makes it very boring. The story is awful, and the boss fights are even worse. This feels like a spit on the grave of the Arkhamverse.
@@tday8340you know at least this game has boss fights unlike AK. Division, Ghost Recon and Cod etc might be dull in your eyes but that’s certainly not the case because the games are incredibly successful so successful they STILL get updates to this day dude. So you’re not fan of shooters got it
Don't hold your breath. You're getting what's on the roadmap and that's it. This game will peak at PVP, then fizzle out. I bought it used. Got King Shark to Level 17, Boomer at 7 and Fear Rank at 17. Not bad for just 3 play sessions. This game is good in small doses only.
People need to realize this isn't even the same developers all those developers left and opened a new studio called (thousand-star games) this is a shell of a company
All four. Origins is a great game but the ps3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game look like crap. The other 3 have been remastered like 4 times, Origins definitely needs a remaster for consoles (I’m pretty sure the pc version holds up surprisingly well on good pcs).
Caboose I think you should watch comicstorian theory on the game to maybe see a different point of view of the story aspect and it’s actually a good theory that make be the direction of where rocksteady might go
Funniest part is he’s mostly correct anyways. Theres leak dialogue for the Flash and basically shows he’s coming back in one of the seasons post launch as an actual good guy again.
I would've honestly would rather have had a Justice League game instead of this, but hopefully, the leaks are true, and the Justice League do come back in one of the post launch seasons to be our allies
I would say the leaks could be 100% accurate about the league coming back given how spot on the story leaks were before the game came out. I do believe there are so so many clues within the game that proves the League isn’t the actual League, or at least aren’t staying dead. Flash’s finger regrowing. Green Lantern’s ring not working the way it’s supposed to. Superman’s minimum vulnerability towards kryptonite. Batman’s inability to do what he did during the Batman Experience Mission, even though he is using fear toxin. It’s shocking since all the other justice league members had countermeasures expect for Batman, it will simply be based on luck if you can kill him, and they just do it? After years of Batman one punching specifically the Arkhamverse Harley Quinn? And then there’s Brainiac’s line about “my justice league” and so many more just from the story. If you go to the stats tab you’ll find stats for how many times we kill each member of the league, which raised a thousand question marks in my head. In the codex page, in the goddies tab, the heroes are mentioned as the league, while the evil league are mentioned simply as bosses, and the tab thumbnail itself for bosses is questionable “some sort of chart”. Not to mention the fact that Brainiac actually shapeshifted to become Flash in his “first” boss fight, which makes me think this will be the way going forward with all his other boss fights. If he was able to do it then, why is it too far fetched for all the justice league members we killed to have actually been an extension of Brainiac. Lastly, the story is far from over and if I have the right to assume then I would say there are more lines from Kevin Conroy reserved for the endgame content, which I hope we get to hear and see play out. I only say “hope” because the game isn’t doing good.
I actually didn't mind it, combat was fluid, story surprised me with it kinda being decent, the deaths were handled with as much care as I think they could be considering we were villains
I love the graphics, and the detail in the characters, and the city of Metropolis. With that said, I was never a fan of The Suicide Squad (the comics, the movies, and now the video game) The only reason I considered this game was because I was looking for a new game after playing over 500 hrs of Gotham Knights on co-op and loved the "Team-Up Attack" feature. When I found out it was a shooter, that confirmed that I was not going to buy it. Then I found out that it is another "Batman dies" game, I thought, "didn't Gotham Nights use that some plot device?"
Not really he said lots of false things about the game like no enemy types when there’s literally tons and that the story wasn’t good just because the game title actually game true
@vexersky1153 there arnt many different ememy types they are all very similar and theres not near enough variety for a looter shooter And the story isn't that great ignoring how the JL were handled witch is a huge part of the story but yet again outside that This braniac is stupid and the plot relies on him being stupid why not just send the entire JL against Task force X especially once they took down flash Beacuse theres Zero chance in hell they would be able to beat Superman Green lantern and Batman at the same time
I totally agree, man. I'm enjoying the game for the few bits of gameplay they got right and the incredible visuals, but last night I thought, "Did they go from the absolutely incredible Arkham series to basically the DC version of the Avengers game?" What made the Arkham games great was they weren't just games but experiences. The gravitas and emotion you felt from the one man perspective gave you a sense of really being in Batman's shoes, feeling it was up to you to save Gotham against huge odds. And as you progressed, getting more gadgets and figuring out what type of Batman you wanted to be, let it feel more individual to you. Going from that to a run and gun, looter shooter is, in my opinion, such a turn in the wrong direction
I, personally haven’t played the game. But gameplay looks a little all over the place for me. The only good thing for me was watching the cutscenes, but the story just doesn’t do it for me. The only JL members who died with a cutscene were GL, WW, and Batman and WW’s was the only one they showed a deserving fight😭😭. Another thing that really bothers me is that they all died to hands of people who wouldn’t normally be able to kill them. I honestly believe they should have brought in an equal counterpart to each member like Reverse Flash, Slade, Zod, and Sinestro or something to atleast even the odds (which are big names, I know. But we’re talking about killing the justice league 😂.) The suicide squad never stood or stands a chance against the JL…..corrupted or not😭😭. Idk maybe it just me but I’m a marvel fan and this was distasteful, even for me 😭.
@@TheMarksman0415 oh I get that 😂 I’m saying it didn’t even have to be a SS game 😂 but they could have atleast used more accurate characters who’d actually have a chance against the Justice League if that makes sense
I agree with all of your points. This is my take on what I think would made people open to this concept (because it is a cool one, just wasnt executed right). If we got a Justic league game first and got time to showcase these literal gods to the max and in general just have fun with them would give us a basis on what a justice league is like in the context of a game universe for lack of a better word. THEN (whether or not its connected to this universe) the first cinematic and playable scene is with the Justice League. On top of establishing that theyve been active for a little longer (maybe 10 years), doing that would make it more digestible and even inviting to try something so drastic like killing them. It would be better if instead they were revived our with the help of the man that started it all for this universe: arkham knight, it could be worth investing in the story instead reasons they came up with in SSKTJL, which although its creative and has some logic, its still very lazy.
@relaxcombo123I don't care tbh I just want a free roam flash game lmao. Tbh this game wasn't as bad as everyone made it seem. Did you even see the convo between Wonder Woman and Flash? It seems like in many cutscenes they do care.
Guys take heart. The league isn’t dead. 1. Flash regrew an entire finger, his healing is good but it isn’t that good 2. When GL “died” his ring didn’t fly off into space and his shield was still up basically telling us his wills was still active 3. Superman survived getting kryptonite through his chest. 4. Miller Ross confirmed they aren’t dead and return in the postgame
Iv been waiting for this review also I just received found out how the JL lost. It’s because Superman thought it would be a good idea to talk it out with brainiac and Batman told him it wasn’t a good idea
I personally agree with everything that Caboose said, I really did like the game but when he said those things I really did experience them as well, I think it’s great but for some people you should wait until it gets better (Hopefully) and from watching this video I think from now on I would be coming here for reviews. With how positive Caboose is it makes me really like it. Definitely LIKE and SUBSCRIBE.
Theres a really popular theory going around that the justice league we kill is not actually the arkhamverse justice league, heres how, so when the flash comes back evil he has his missing finger back, and Green lantern for example that we killed the ring falls in the water after king shark used it, and after u kill green lantern his constructs still are protecting brainiacs choppers makes it seem that the REAL JUSTICE LEAGUE is in a type of stasis on brainiacs ship
I like the game i think it’s fun and solid it just shouldn’t take place in the arkham universe. I also heard that there are leaked voice lines that wasn’t used and in the leaks Flash is coming back to life so each season i think each member of the Justice League will be brought back. I rate this game a 7.5/10
I honestly quite like the idea of the Suicide Squad taking down members of the Justice League but also incorporating their abilities somehow. For example, the first person that the squad could free is Batman as he'd be the first to find them if he's controlled by Brainiac. They defeat Batman, and because he's batman he'll overcome the brainwashing (like he's done with so much other forms of brainwashing). He helps them defeat the Flash with his contingency plans. When WW fights Superman, Superman could kill her as she's trying to protect the squad, and she injures him heavily in the process so he has to go away to heal. She could then give her gear to Harley Quinn, entrusting her with her weapons and giving her a fighting chance. When they defeat Green Lantern, they could lose the ring at first, but later on Brainiac could send a giant laser that would wipe out the Squad and Batman, but Shark is prepared to sacrifice himself, and because of that the GL ring chooses him, giving him Green Lantern powers. Batman could share his gear with Deadshot, and idk how but Boomerang could use the speed force in some way. This way they all have a fighting chance against Superman and Brainiac. Obviously Batman would die fighting Superman, they could even kill each other and leave the Squad the finish Brainiac.
My ssktjl rewrite: The Game starts like in Arkham Knight with a POV from an unkown man sitting at a helicopter alongside the other Ss members Waller is Heard talking through the comms: "we managed to create an opening on Brainiac's shield, but it's temporary, it's a Matter of time before it-" sudeenly a huge explosion is Heard as the helicopter shakes, the shield closed off just as the helicopter got in and now it's falling down due to a missing rotor, the SS members get out but you cant get away in time and the helicopter crashes * Title card+ credits* Tutorial for each character as they get to the Hall of Justice, there they get their traversal equipment and Waller tells them to get to the Crash site as the Heli had a very important laptop for stopping Brainiac, but when you get there you find the POV Guy from the beggining ( Thinkerer)Who was suppose to operate the laptop dead and the laptop missing, Shark smells the trail the laptop left and when following It they encounter Luthor along with the laptop, he explains he stole it BCS It said Argus and though it might be important, Boss Fight, they get the laptop and aprehend Luthor and he tells them that there's a bunker with half of Metropolis hidden in It and with a man smart enough to operate the laptop, Waller orders them to get to the Bunker, they take a detour through the Batman Museum and get taken out by a non brainwashed Batman Who takes the laptop. Regardless they follow Luthor to the Bunker and find out he was telling the truth and meet Gizmo, outside a Battle is Heard as a brainwashed Flash is fighting WW, the Squad fight the Flash in order to avoid her getting captured but GL( Guy Gardner) comes when they're distracted and abducts WW, Flash escapes. They realise they're screwed as a brainwashed WW Will know the bunker's location and decide to head back to the Hall, there they make a plan to get the attention of Batman so that way they can get the laptop back asap, kill GL, they track him down, Boss Fight, the excuse i imagine as to why he wont kill them right away is that his Will power allows him to snap out of the brainwashed state for a couple of seconds, allowing him to make less lethal constructions and giving the squad time to land a few hits on him, at the end they kill him, Batman arrives, he scalds the Squad and tells them that Waller is not a good person and that they can do better, he leaves but the squad put a tracker on him, they follow him to the batcave, they sneak past him and steal the laptop along with some kryptonite, Luthor stays behind to distract Batman. The Squad get to a Radio tower and with the help of Gizmo Connect the laptop, they return to the Bunker to defend It from the incoming League attack and find Batman along with a beaten Up Luthor, Bruce explains that the shield covering Metropolis stopped any outside interference, and that the laptop connected Argus to Metropolis' military base, with the laptop now active she's free to use nuclear arsenal from inside the shield meaning Waller is planing to nuke Brainiac's ship, killing the Evil Mastermind along with any remaining survivors in the city. At that moment the brainwashed WW arrives, Bruce goes to get the batjet hoping to lead Superman to the nuke while the Squad defend the bunker, boss Fight, they manage to tople over a building onto WW, knocking her out, Superman arrives at the bunker but Batman gets his attention and leads him to the nuke, Sups deveates it to the sky and It explodes, avoiding any damage to neither the ship nor the city, the Squad before leaving to find him are given Kryptonite bullets by Luthor "kill him, it's what you do best", they arrive at a crater and find a Superman weakend by the radiation, Boss Fight, by the end of the Fight the Squad is pointing a gun at a vulnerable Sups, Waller tells them to kill him but Batman's words echoed in their minds "you're better than this", they decide not to pull the trigger and a defeated man of steel escapes, the team regroup at the batcave and get new gear, their new mission, is to kill Brainiac. They infiltrate the ship along with Batman after defeating the Flash and while Batman goes to Brainiac's computer in order to deactivate his control over the League, the Squad fight him in a room he calls the Chamber, Boss Fight (and no, it wouldnt be a Flash re-skin). They defeat him and the ship starts breaking down, Brainiac shambles to the computer in order to instantly explode ship, Batman closes the door to the Chamber, locking himself inside along with Brainiac and tells them that if they stay to Fight him, they along with every city Brainiac conquered Will be destroyed, he'll stay behind to buy them time and ends off the chat saying he's proud of what they've done today, the Squad have no time to mourn and quickly escape the exploding ship carrying the cities. The day is saved and Metropolis builds a statue in honor of Batman and GL, the remaining JL members are put on recovery while the Squad are left to clean Up the city having gained a sense of honor and diginity. Ps: in my version Deadshot is the og white one, meaning i'd remove the whole daughter thing and keep his backstory of killing his brother, aaaand i'd remove Harley from the team, maybe she'd be dlc but for the story she really doesnt fit, no harley could kill tge JL much less the Arkham version
How to improve Gameplay: - more enemies: enemy bomber that explodes when killed, medic enemy that heals troops, and a mix of the two that when killed cures nearby troops. In addition i'd add mini bosses that copy some abilities from the JL(for example an enemy with laser eyes, another one with slightly increased speed, an enemy with wings like Hawkgirl, etc) and ones that are mutated animals from the Metropolis zoo (i imagine a Tiger, Elephant and Gorilla) - more Game modes: team deathmatch, two teams compete to see Who can do a list of objectives faster. Survival, survive waves of enemies, with each passing wave the difficulty increases. Backstab, compete amongst your own team to see Who can kill the most enemies, in this Mode you can place landmines to damage your team, dying Will reset you progress.
Actually the justice league isn’t dead and they are coming back in the upcoming seasons Flash is first and we figured this out due to Devs and voicelines from upcoming seasons
What upcoming season games is dead lmao. Its madness if you think this is surviving 12 seasons lmao. Not to mention it doesnt matter. Nobody cares what happens in months ppl care what it is now when they payd 70 to 100 dollars for it. So your comment is irrelevant
@@DarkKnightRDX no they dont not in the episodic format. You are objectively wrong. Thats why the game is failing in the first place. Do i need to remind you that this game will not last 12 seasons? A.k.a your story wont even be finished. The game js failing miserably as it should. Its peak on release is 13k players twice lower than fking avengers lmao. Arkham origins did 30k. The game is shutting down in 15 months tops same as avengers. I personally enjoyed the game the story has its ups and downs but overall i had fun with the gameplay i mean the way you can tweak certain characters to play differently with one another the Traversal and the whole idea of it being at continued universe yea some things were done wrong but i feel like we should look towards the future cause these type of comments can make a studio listen to its players 🤷🏿♂️💯
I don’t think the justice league actually die & that those are clones, flash got beamed up after the fight & the fact there was enemies with the heroes powers after you “so call kill them”
Thank you for your honest review. It's refreshing to see someone who doesn't either just trash on the game or treats it like it's the best game ever made. Thanks for being fair! :)
It's not a Batman Arkham game!!!! It's not a Justice League game!!! Why would you think you would play as the Justice League characters? Killing the characters is in the title for crying out loud. The game is average and after the road map we can see where it goes but all the bashing and complaining is getting tiresome.
I paused before you got into spoilers but man I got the game today and lowkey disappointed that it doesn't live to some of the hype. Hopefully, constant content updates will provide a breath of fresh air and more story missions
It's a good game caboose has made himself look stupid, he was covering it everyday a month or so before launch, getting over excited about it all for that to let him down the best way of looking at this game is it's the dc multiverse.
the story will continue to evolve and something tells me kevin conroys batman isnt done yet youll see one day i feel like you will love what they do in the future. no live service starts perfect.
I loved Wonder Woman storyline throughout Suicide Squad Kills The Justice League Game she's one of my Favorite parts from Suicide Squad Kills The Justice League I especially liked the way Wonder Woman looks like and acts like in Suicide Squad Kills The Justice League!
For me the gameplay loop was fun as fuck and the writing made me laugh a few times. 6/10, plenty of flaws. I don’t get why people say it’s absolutely garbage
I highly doubt Kevin woulda approved of this. Great actors take horrible gigs and regret it all the time and I’m sure this would’ve been one of them if he was alive to see it
There were massive hint to how the story will continue through the season pass and the only way this game recovers is with really good dlc where you will see the return of the justice league.
Perhaps were unfairly comparing. We don’t stop to think that even if this is in the Arkham verse this is a suicide squad game that was never going to give you the feeling of the batman games. Yeah there’s some Batman feels but it was never gonna be the same
Hi Caboose. Been following you since way before Arkham Knight. You were the only person more excited than me for AK so I've always loved that. I totally agree with everything you've said here again. I bought it purely because it is Rocksteady and I feel totally let down! The way B'Man came back, the way they handled the character... talk about shitting on your past. I almost don't know what to do with myself know 😢
I agree with your review Caboose, but what keeps me hopeful is just how easy the story is to fix with the free expansions and explanations in the story. The bones for greatness are there.
Sorry it ler you down. I'm not let down tho. I will be let down though if the seasonal content doesn't advance the plot they've set up. Some people, myself included, don't think we actually killed them. There's signs that they may he clones. There's various things that don't line up
So my thoughts. I didn't play the game, nor was I interested. You've got people who are different. People like and or prefer the heroes or villains. Some people absolutely love playing as a bad guy or being a jerk, on games. Example Fallout. You can choose to be a certain way depending on how you respond to the NPC's of the game. Sometimes it can be downright hilarious to mean or if you like the hero side of things, it's your typial yeah I can do that for you scenario. I prefer heroes. Always have. Past background, I was bullied in school, a LOT. I discovered super heroes and finally had something to look up to. So, I just fell for all these characters as if they were my life, my best friends.... not literally obviously. Like a lot of people, watching the Batman animated series,Batman Beyond,Justice League, Teen Titans. It's our childhood. We grew up with these characters. We bonded with them. We care about them. I have an understanding that everything must come to an end at some point. Nothing last forever. But when it comes down to comics, we sort of set an expectation in our minds of how beloved characters should act,how they should be treated and if they were to die, how epic it should be depending on how much the individual liked that character. When it comes to the JL (Justice League), they gave us the strongest they had to offer minus Martian Manhunter. But before we get into all that, let's look at what it's centered around. Batman. I say Baman because this is the Arkham universe. Anyone who has played the Arkham series knows how amazing and honestly over powered this Batman is. The villains you fight. The way you take down criminals. The amount of criminals you stop in a single night on those games is incredible. Plus as you progress through these stories, you upgrade. Get stronger. Become a better Batman. Arkham Origins. You take on Deathstroke,Bane,Firefly, Shiva,Copperhead,Bane a couple more times, Joker, Deadshot. I guess Black Mask? But it was just Joker? Something like that. Plus, you take on Mr. Fries in a DLC. I might be forgetting something. Riddler is someone you deal with as well and you also deal with the Penguin. So many people and that's only year 2 of Batman in the Arkham universe. Arkham Asylum, you fight Bane and Harley Quinn. You deal with Killer Croc and fight a Titan injected Joker. I almost forgot Poison Ivy and let's not forget dealing with Victor Zsasz and ScareCrow. Arkham City. You fight Ra's Al Ghoul,Clayface,Solomon Grundy,Penguin and you basically one shot Harley. Two-Face is mostly delt with by Catwoman, same with Poison Ivy so they don't count. Bane is a side thing and of course like Origins and Asylum, you have to include the Riddler...for some reason. And you get the return of Zsasz. Arkham Knight. Including DLC, you do get Mr.Fries again but you help him not fight him. Penguin again, Two-Face again,Firefly again, Harley Quinn again, somewhat Ra's Al Ghoul but you don't fight him. ScareCrow makes his return and Joker is messing with his mind extremely bad while doing all of this. He stops Manbat, locks up Poison Ivy in the beginning to get her help later, Professor Pig, Asrael,Deacon Blackfire, Mad Hatter who is also in Origins and City. I knew I left someone out. The point is. Even though I didn't even list everything, including Killer Croc in Arkham Knight, you see what Batman almost single handedly stopped by himself, each taking place in a single night. You see what Batman is capable of in Arkham. That's without listing his gadgets, his outstanding combat and intelligence. Starting with Arkham Asylum. When did it come out? 2009? I think. You go from 2009, get 3 games released after it until 2015. You play those games over and over and over and over again. 100% every game. 240% Arkham Knight. You spend countless hours, days even playing these games because of simply how great the story is and how they tell it. The graphics are just out of this world, especially Arkham Knight that I feel still looks better than most modern releases. How the overall gameplay with it's gadgets, combat, traversal throughout the maps. There is so much I can say about the Arkham games. As you can tell, I'm a huge fan of it. When I hear a title saying "Kill the Justice league" and it's Arkham related, of course I don't want to play it. Why would I want to kill the character I basically bonded with for so many years. Plus, you get to see the other JL members in that same universe. If Batman is as strong as I say he is based off of what was mentioned previously, I'd be terrified to see Wonder Woman and Superman. Flash and Green Lantern are strong too but they aren't Wonder Woman and Superman. You've got the "bullet proof" "Man of Steel" get shot to death. Superman isn't even standing close to the Suicide Squad during the fight. How is the gold kryptonite around the neck and duct tapes on them going to effect the weapons you're shooting him with? It's NOT! Superman should have whipped the floor with them. Batman. Who is brainwashed and killing people as well, as you see just from the trailer alone took out a security guard. Why did he spare the ones trying to kill him on site? It makes no sense. Batman alone should have taken them out. There's just so much with the game that I don't like from what I watched. Extremely long comment short, if you're going to kill FAVORITE characters people love and hold near and dearly in their hearts like i do, you've got to do it in a way that is going to be dramatic. It's going to be intense. Literally making you sit on the edge of your seat and when it's done, us as fans and players can sit back and go "you know what? If this hero were to go out, this is what I would have done too". As if they came up with the perfect sendoff for that character. Taking Batman who this universe is literally centered around and giving him the Old Yeller treatment. Just gets sat down on a bench and gets shot in the head.... No. Absolutely not. This is the best they can come up with? I know they worked hard on this game. I can't imagine how difficult it is to do what they do. But, I'm someone who cares more about story than anything. Gameplay comes second and graphics comes last. If you can tell a great, well written story, I'm probably going to like it. Gameplay, you definitely want it to be fun, smooth and comprehensive. Graphics are a bonus. Some of my favorite games look like trash compared to today's technology. But the games were a lot of fun to play. Example. Before they remastered them, Crash Team Racing,Crash Bandicoot 1-Warped, Spider-Man Enter Electro, WCW Mayhem, Gameday 2002, Let's Get Ready 2 Rumble, Toy Story Racer, Buzz Lightyear of Star command. Road Rash 3-D just to name a few. They were PlayStation 1 games. For the time, they look crappy in comparison, but man oh man the games play so fun. That's all I look for. I just want to sit back, relax and escape the world I live in because of how stressful it is. Now, games cost an arm and a leg to buy, 90% of the time their so broken at launch you have to wait a year or 2 it feels like to even get the game where it should have been from the beginning. I don't get that same "escape " feeling like I used to. I don't care what anyone says, this game isn't cannon to Arkham. If they knew what the had, I mean truly knew, they wouldn't have disrespected Batman like that. It felt like they spat in our faces. Literally pee'd on the Flash and Thumbnails I see just shows Boomerang giving us the bird. It feels like they turned Batman into a meme, a shell of what he used to be and killed everything good in the Arkhamverse and made people pay for it. I'm not mad at Rocksteady. I'm very disappointed.
It’s a looter shooter….repetition is part of it so yes the enemies are going to feel the same and missions will be the same rinse and repeat but I’m hoping down the line they give us some destiny type strikes so we have some long missions that aren’t the same defense missions
They are planning to add new mission types and game modes every season from what they've said. It's a live service game and people are judging it like a single player rpg.
@@JeannieLove I understand people judging it for legit reasons but I can admit the endgame is very bland and the story needed more mission variety but hopefully we get some strikes and stuff and hopefully the new missions aren’t just going to a reskin of what we already have
@@thehypeisme For sure, like Caboose. I haven't played passed the story too much yet, Granblue Fantasy Relink was my most anticipated game that released the day before so I just wanted to get the story. I will be getting the Platinum when I am done with Granblue and Dragon's Dogma 2. Or before DD2 if I finish Granblue before the end of March.
I hope they get a Superman from another Earth after he realizes that there is a cure for Brainiac's mind control, to go around the Earth and go back in time, since that is one of his powers, and save the Justice League. Instead of just going back in time enough to stop Brainiac's invasion, they can make it so that you play as another Earth Justice League to fight the one in this game in a new DLC campaign. I think that could work well, right?
Okay so I just want to say that the whole justice league is dead before you fight them if you listen to the computer message in the lexcorp building it states that the terminauts (the aliens that got the league and tried to corrupt you) the FIRST thing it does is KILL its host and then makes a copy of its mind and intelligence and then takes control of the corpse so Harley didn’t kill Batman she was killing a copy of his mind so there you go.
Honestly, i love the story. As a huge comic reader and me having just huge amounts of comics from 90’s, New 52 era and mainly the Rebirth Era and i get everyone doesn’t want to see their heroes fail or fall but to see them actually lose and Rocksteady had the balls to show people the heroes CAN die. Rocksteady’s JL are already legends in their own way and JL are actually dealing with the consequences is a refreshing take in my opinion at least. The Squad becoming the unsung heroes as they are were fun to see and honestly the gameplay is fun as well
Caboose, i totally agree with every word you said in this video. Your review was perfect, honest and fair. As a big Arkham Franchise and Rocksteady fan, i cant deny that this game disappointed me. But I also cant say that i didnt have fun playing this game
We should’ve had a Wonder Woman boss fight too that would’ve been fun and maybe stretched the game out a little longer. Also it wouldn’t have made me wish we would’ve got a Wonder Woman saves the Justice League game
this game definitely lived up to the hype and exceeded my expectations. I think the game is perfect and is the best rocksteady game yet. It sucks that 99% of the hate comes from people who actually haven't played the game and they have no idea wth is going on or just straight make stuff up.
What do you think of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League? Please, try to keep it civil.
I havent played it but gameplay looks fun but story and killing batman arkham no
I've really enjoyed the game
It’s horrible
Like it ❤❤
Bad
I feel like the way Wonder Woman died so well is telling for what’s to come later. The league all died like they were jobbers except for her which just makes me think that the members we killed were just clones of the real league
this is a common theory supposedly supported by file leaks but if the game dose not do well we will never know lol
I feel like they’re clones.
They literally are clones brainiac says “how do you kill my justice league” in a cutscene where he first captures them
I just really hope you are right.
Yeah i think the same and more because the story for me is too short, i think with next seasons the story is going to be complete 😊
You know the games bad when caboose isn’t a fan
He was at first until the batman part came up, and then he switched his mind(don't really blame him tho)
Yup
@@Ghostly2zhe still is a fan. It’s just how they did things. throughout his walkthrough..he would say things like….“the gameplay is really fun but..”. The Re-Skin of the Flash for the final boss was very disappointing...
Yeah that’s honestly my main complaint with game besides the bad death scenes
be prepare for reskin superman and green lantern boss fight in ss1 =))
Understatement
IMO the game shouldve been a Batman game fighting a compromised justice league or the ending of this game should’ve been the flash apparently not dying in his boss battle but coming back in some way at the end of the game and he created a new Arkham timeline.
I agree 100% with your batman idea it should have been Batman and the suicide squad working together to take down the justice league and then have Batman sacrifice himself against Superman to save the squad
@@davidmount2483ahh reuse the same idea from Gotham Knights but with the Suicide Squad? Just play Gotham Knights for the heroic Batman ending
They aren’t dead, I’m 90% sure when people say the league died they didn’t even play the game they looked at out of context leaks/scenes and just automatically assumed
@@lTSVlBE100% yep! I also just posted a comment talking about this. We need more people to notice the hints.
But thats just my idea.
just the thought of that is way better than that sorry excuse of a game😭
This would've been 3 trillion times better!
The justice league isn't even built up in universe they just added them straight away as villains they should have done some more solo games first and laid connections to this as a big crossover event for the arkhamverse and improved on the story to the point where it was actually decent at least
I'd call the game Batman Arkham: Savior
Theirs little hints throughout the game
the issue is with it being live service if the game dosent keep people playing we wont get an ending
That'd be damage control, but they don't f*cking care.
So people paid 70 dollars but have to wait for the rest of the story to finish later on ? wtf is that. Plus that doesn’t change the fact that the boss fights were garbage

This isn’t Rocksteady anymore, much of their staff and their founders left the company due to this game
Did you know the flash is still alive in the file he turned back to normal, but he doesn't really know what's going on.
Really? Where’d you see that?

And also Brainac did tell The Suicide Squad how did you manage to defeat all my own Justice League meaning he created them possibly maybe?
What huge unfortunate miss. Really needed a good and complete DC game to come out.

It's not Kevin's last role as batman.....he shows up in a DC movie. Most likely won't come out for like another 3-4 years though.
Yeah that’s a fair rating. I’m also a huge Batman fan and a huge Arkham fan, I liked this game it was fun and the story was enjoyable for the most part. I’d give it a 7.5-8/10.

Just you pal. Your optimism is very bizarre. Why would I play a suicide squad game where the entire squad is like dead shot essentially.
i didn’t expect caboose to go off like this 💀but i love this review
Cause he would come off looking biased as usual
if this is what 8 years gets you 10hour story, repetitive missions, empty world, 4+1 non creative bossfights, Then you truly have failed. No amount of passion being put into it does anything to it. Good review
I’ll wait till it goes on sale. But will keep an eye out for news and updates.
Completely agree
Yeah waiting for sale is completely fair. But I’d recommend the game.
That's why it was "Batman: Arkham"
Asylum & City were perfect locations.
This game is weird to talk about because it isn’t as bad as everyone says it is but that doesn’t mean that it’s good.
The quality of the Deadshot traversal makes it even more painful to think of how cool a Batman Beyond Arkham would have played.

This is a disgrace to DC and a bad continuation of the Arkhamverse. I can’t believe Rocksteady made this. I immediately uninstalled it.
It's time for the Young Justice squad to get a game rendition after all this... Think about it.

Couldn't agree more they are villains what kind of death did yall expect
I love the graphics, and the detail in the characters, and the city of Metropolis. With that said, I was never a fan of The Suicide Squad (the comics, the movies, and now the video game) The only reason I considered this game was because I was looking for a new game after playing over 500 hrs of Gotham Knights on co-op and loved the "Team-Up Attack" feature. When I found out it was a shooter, that confirmed that I was not going to buy it. Then I found out that it is another "Batman dies" game, I thought, "didn't Gotham Nights use that some plot device?"
Never clicked this fast on a video 🔥🔥🔥
Been a fan since Caboose was dropping injustice 1 videos. I believe him and I’ll wait for a sale when all seasons are in the game
This is probably the most honest review I've seen for this game
Not really he said lots of false things about the game like no enemy types when there’s literally tons and that the story wasn’t good just because the game title actually game true
@vexersky1153 there arnt many different ememy types they are all very similar and theres not near enough variety for a looter shooter
And the story isn't that great ignoring how the JL were handled witch is a huge part of the story but yet again outside that This braniac is stupid and the plot relies on him being stupid why not just send the entire JL against Task force X especially once they took down flash Beacuse theres Zero chance in hell they would be able to beat Superman Green lantern and Batman at the same time
@vexersky1153 are there more enemy types than avengers game?
I mean if those are the villains you wanted then it's no longer a suicide squad game lmao.
@@TheMarksman0415 oh I get that 😂 I’m saying it didn’t even have to be a SS game 😂 but they could have atleast used more accurate characters who’d actually have a chance against the Justice League if that makes sense
@@bandobrando3 Yeah I get you
I agree with all of your points.

Yes I want Flash and Superman games
@@dakotatrue12 I do too, but by a studio that actually cares about the ip.
1. Flash regrew an entire finger, his healing is good but it isn’t that good
2. When GL “died” his ring didn’t fly off into space and his shield was still up basically telling us his wills was still active
3. Superman survived getting kryptonite through his chest.
4. Miller Ross confirmed they aren’t dead and return in the postgame
This is all just speculation it's not explained in the game itself so defending it man

@@jalocool2807 yup unfortunately
Iv been waiting for this review also I just received found out how the JL lost. It’s because Superman thought it would be a good idea to talk it out with brainiac and Batman told him it wasn’t a good idea
THE Justice League will return again in future Rocksteady Games Ross Miller leaking this information!
The fact is nobody can even come close to insomniac in superhero games genre anymore
I rate this game a 7.5/10
NO. It should get a 3/10 at minimum it’s awful
@@wildbrick5371it’s called an opinion goofy yall only hate on it bc of how they handled the justice league
Why u hating on everyone who likes it
I agree, good fun.
Hey caboose I don’t know if you seen it but people been saying the justice league are still alive the hero you fought they were clones
U didn't talk about that the main game doesn't really finish so they can continue the story though 12 season passes
My ssktjl rewrite:
The Game starts like in Arkham Knight with a POV from an unkown man sitting at a helicopter alongside the other Ss members Waller is Heard talking through the comms: "we managed to create an opening on Brainiac's shield, but it's temporary, it's a Matter of time before it-" sudeenly a huge explosion is Heard as the helicopter shakes, the shield closed off just as the helicopter got in and now it's falling down due to a missing rotor, the SS members get out but you cant get away in time and the helicopter crashes
* Title card+ credits*
Tutorial for each character as they get to the Hall of Justice, there they get their traversal equipment and Waller tells them to get to the Crash site as the Heli had a very important laptop for stopping Brainiac, but when you get there you find the POV Guy from the beggining ( Thinkerer)Who was suppose to operate the laptop dead and the laptop missing, Shark smells the trail the laptop left and when following It they encounter Luthor along with the laptop, he explains he stole it BCS It said Argus and though it might be important, Boss Fight, they get the laptop and aprehend Luthor and he tells them that there's a bunker with half of Metropolis hidden in It and with a man smart enough to operate the laptop, Waller orders them to get to the Bunker, they take a detour through the Batman Museum and get taken out by a non brainwashed Batman Who takes the laptop.
How to improve Gameplay:
- more enemies: enemy bomber that explodes when killed, medic enemy that heals troops, and a mix of the two that when killed cures nearby troops. In addition i'd add mini bosses that copy some abilities from the JL(for example an enemy with laser eyes, another one with slightly increased speed, an enemy with wings like Hawkgirl, etc) and ones that are mutated animals from the Metropolis zoo (i imagine a Tiger, Elephant and Gorilla)
- more Game modes:
team deathmatch, two teams compete to see Who can do a list of objectives faster.
Survival, survive waves of enemies, with each passing wave the difficulty increases.
Backstab, compete amongst your own team to see Who can kill the most enemies, in this Mode you can place landmines to damage your team, dying Will reset you progress.
I’m pretty sure comic wise there is a Harley who has beaten quite a few members of the Justice League Batman and Superman included
I’m so sick of the negative towards this game. It’s not that bad. Jesus Christ. The few positive reviews I’ve seen feel more genuine than this
Actually the justice league isn’t dead and they are coming back in the upcoming seasons Flash is first and we figured this out due to Devs and voicelines from upcoming seasons
What upcoming season games is dead lmao. Its madness if you think this is surviving 12 seasons lmao. Not to mention it doesnt matter. Nobody cares what happens in months ppl care what it is now when they payd 70 to 100 dollars for it. So your comment is irrelevant

I don’t think the justice league actually die & that those are clones, flash got beamed up after the fight & the fact there was enemies with the heroes powers after you “so call kill them”
Keep making funny comments and segments Canoose you are actually funny
Thank you for your honest review. It's refreshing to see someone who doesn't either just trash on the game or treats it like it's the best game ever made. Thanks for being fair! :)
I love this game but it was set for failure when they set it in the Arkham verse 🤷🏾♂️
Imagine how much better received if they had kept it in the DC universe but then had some kind of tye in to the Arkhamverse mater on or something

Kevin conroy was literally wasted in good game for me this universe ended after Arkham knight
I honestly feel disappointed with what they did to arkham batman and he wasn't the type of person to go down without a fight
he was controlled
He had a great showing as Evil BRAINWASHED Batman
I highly doubt Kevin woulda approved of this. Great actors take horrible gigs and regret it all the time and I’m sure this would’ve been one of them if he was alive to see it
After sucking up to rocksteady on this game on twitter hes finally being honest with himself
He didn’t suck up to anyone he kept an open mind for a studio that gained everyone’s trust years ago
Yeah there’s some Batman feels but it was never gonna be the same
And even so, it’s not even a sane normal JL, they are broken they are evil they have no humanity or hope they only Obey Brainiac
The next Justice League
Martian Manhunter
Aquaman
Hal Jordan
Shazam
Zatanna
Nightwing as the new Batman

@@JeannieLove Ah yes, the 'don't judge a game by how it's released' argument. Good lord, some people are so brainwashed nowadays.
@@JeannieLove I understand people judging it for legit reasons but I can admit the endgame is very bland and the story needed more mission variety but hopefully we get some strikes and stuff and hopefully the new missions aren’t just going to a reskin of what we already have

I will be getting the Platinum when I am done with Granblue and Dragon's Dogma 2. Or before DD2 if I finish Granblue before the end of March.
Arkham batman’s story ended with knight in my mind. Everything else is “arkham elseworlds” to me.
That’s not how it works bum
This game is pure Dopeness
I hope they get a Superman from another Earth after he realizes that there is a cure for Brainiac's mind control, to go around the Earth and go back in time, since that is one of his powers, and save the Justice League. Instead of just going back in time enough to stop Brainiac's invasion, they can make it so that you play as another Earth Justice League to fight the one in this game in a new DLC campaign. I think that could work well, right?
wow......I can't believe Caboose actually seen the light. EVEN THOUGH EVERYTHING YOU SAID WE CLEARLY SEEN WITH OUR OWN EYES!!!!!
I am disappointed in rocksteady
We should’ve had a Wonder Woman boss fight too that would’ve been fun and maybe stretched the game out a little longer. Also it wouldn’t have made me wish we would’ve got a Wonder Woman saves the Justice League game
this game definitely lived up to the hype and exceeded my expectations. I think the game is perfect and is the best rocksteady game yet. It sucks that 99% of the hate comes from people who actually haven't played the game and they have no idea wth is going on or just straight make stuff up.
Bud this game ain’t even better than the worst Arkham game.
