Yes, I did my DNA, and I found out that I have less African dna than I thought. I thought I was at least 75% African, but nope. I'm only 62% African decent, and 38% European.

Yes my mother took the Ancestry DNA test and we found Nigeia ,Ghana, and Cameroon. Have you ever thought about doing the African ancestry DNA test? That test will show you which tribe your ancestors come from. That would be a great experience for you. I don't know if you heard of Gina Paige she along with her partner founded the African ancestry DNA test. If you go to RUclips she has given different celebrities their DNA test results and it's exciting. I would love to see that.

I'm 85% Sub Saharan 12% European and 3% Native American.I found lots of long lost relatives on mine.I even found out that I share the same Paternal Grandmother as Pablo Escobar going back 8 generations from my amazing newfound Colombian cousins. The best thing about Ancestry.com is that it helps you to complete and put together all those missing links in your family tree.

Which is why identical twins can frame each other, and is why with DNA testing, both twins could be determined to be the mother of each twin’s children.

After finding out she was half Italian (not German, like we thought), and after seeing several relatives we did not recognize, we did a lot of investigating. Long story short, my Mom and her older brother had a different biological father than their other four siblings. It was a pretty wild thing to find out, particularly when something like that is completely unexpected. Finding out that my grandfather actually hadn't been related to me was a little hard, but meeting my mom's half brothers this past summer was amazing. We found new family, and that was extremely cool 🙂

All my life, I’ve only known myself to have Puerto Rican ancestry. Overtime, I learned that Puerto Rican’s are a makeup of Africans, Spanish and Taínos (the Native Americans of the island). Like you, I was always curious to learn of my ancestry. So, I did the 23 & me test and learned SO MUCH about my ancestry. One of my ancestors was a slave - a slave who fought to survive so his/her future generations could have life. I cried so much the more I learned from my ancestry. Even met a few second cousins already.

My results currently are: 57% English, Wales, NW Europe. 19% Indigenous Americas-Mexico. 10% France. 5% Portugal. 3% Spain. 2% Ireland/Scotland. 1% European Jewish. 1% Cameroon, Congo, Southern Bantu peoples. 1% Senegal. 1% Indigenous Americas -North.

Alma Blackburn Greetings. All genetic genealogists have warned people not to take their estimates seriously as they are the least reliable in DNA testing; on the other hand, genetic cousin matches are accurate. All genetic genealogists have stated that if you want to learn about your ancestors you should be studying your cousin matches and learn about their ancestors, which in turn you will learn about yours. If you really have Scandinavian ancestry, then you should have genetic cousin matches from there. One genetic genealogists have stated that these estimates are for entertainment purposes only and to forget estimates.
