  • I didn't get my passport until I was 40 years old! I honestly never thought travel was even possible for me until I took a chance and booked my first 3 night trip! I was immediately hooked and shocked at just how much of a vacation you could have in just 3 Days and 3 Noches! And soon this channel was created! In this video I tell you the secrets to traveling more while having a full time job and show you the exact 3 day itinerary I use to have an amazing vacation. You can use this itinerary both at an All Inclusive an Non All Inclusive Resort like an Airbnb stay. By using the 3 Days and 3 Noches method I can travel 5-10 times a year to places like Cancun, Punta Cana and more. I do respond to all comments and questions so drop them in the comments section below! #travel

    Hi thanks for the amazing tips. Just a question what place did you enjoy the beach more at Punta Cana or in Cancun ? What place would you recommend if you’re a beach person. Thanks for the insight

    Ummm. You worked a full time job that gave you 2 days off per week? Plus a week vacation time you could split up? That's like 21 weeks of vacation per year.

    • @3Days3Noches
      @3Days3Noches  5 дней назад +1

      Hopefully most people get two days off per week!! it’s called weekends! I was in management and consulting and was able to adjust my schedule frequently - so I could work 6 days a week and then trade in some days off when I traveled! It’s doable! Even in a strict 9-5 you could make it happen! At least a few times a year!

      @GreggGordon 4 дня назад +1

      @@3Days3Noches Yeah, I understood it to be a weekend... but it's the right way to express it as lots of people don't necessarily get Saturday and Sunday as their days off. And perhaps Nicky doesn't realize how much it varies throughout the world. Mexicans get 1 day a week off. I personally have a job that is technically five 7 hour days each week, but we compress that into 4 days and get 3 days off each week. And the vacation also can vary around the world, with the US unfortunately getting the short end of that stick.

    How could I miss this video??
    Even though I have 6 weeks per year of paid vacation, it's hard to take it due to my crazy job. Just 3-4 night, I never considered it before , but I guess going forward it's a great idea!!😅Thank you again ❤

    All great tips but I'll add that most of these apply even if you are going for a week or more. You want to maximize your time actually enjoying vacation and not sitting in airports or taxis, etc. I am unable to get a direct flight to CUN or PUJ so it's usually about 10 hours of travel to get into my room, so again all these things help offset long travel days if you don't live near a major airport.

    Great info as always and all makes sense if time off is your biggest limiting factor and you live in a major center with direct flights to the major tourist destinations. I love your videos and am not questioning what you are saying here at all however most people's limiting factor is money more so than time and travelling 3 days at an all inclusive can be significantly more expensive on a cost/day basis. In general 3 day trips are about 20% more/day than 7 day trips (mainly due to the fact that flight costs and many taxes and fees/transfer costs are basically the same no matter how long you go for) so one 7 day trip is cheaper than two 3 day trips. The longer you go the cheaper the cost/day with 9-10 days being around 30%/day cheaper than 3 days and 14 days around 40% cheaper/day. Also if you are planning a trip around the weekend flying on Friday /Saturday is usually more than midweek flights. Now of course a 3 day trip is less total $ out of your pocket and if that's all the time you can afford or all the money you can afford or you like to see multiple destination then by all means 3 day trips can be great but if you have the time and $ to take multiple 3 day trips/year and you are looking to maximize value for your $ longer trips are a better value.

      Sometimes the entire bottom line is cheaper too. I was recently pricing out JFK to Aruba, and the total cost for a 7 night stay was cheaper than a 4 night stay. It was for a vacation package but I'm assuming it was the hotel portion encouraging a longer stay.
