Wow - continuous sharp pain for over two weeks went away minutes after taping according to your tutorial. I'm even able to workout mildly. Big thank you, sir!
@focusrehab Hey and hello. Great video and great work, I'm 100% sure. Got mine over stretching to rid Planters F. For me, it's very quick. But I guess I went too far. I do the other stuff, but forgot about taping. Thank you so much. Best wishes to you and yours. May their be many many many days on their way. Subscribed the moment I found you. Thank You!!
I’m about 10 weeks out from a 100 mile mountain ultra. The pain around my Achilles and back lower point of my heal flare up when I hike/jog. Pain goes away within hours and mostly gone within 24 hours. But for weeks now. I switched out 4mm heel toe drop shoes to an 8mm drop hoping for less impact on Achilles. I will add this taping to my rehab . Thanks for the vid and wish me luck 🍀 🏃♂️ 🏔️
I have the bottom of the heel bursitis that was briefly mentioned in the first five seconds of the video. It’s hard to find any helpful info. Would you consider doing a similar video for sub-calcaneal bursitis? Thank you🙂
Hi Carolyn, I'm dealing with this for the last 6 months. I just learned about it. Makes you feel like my heels are ready to rip off. My goodness! Heal well :)
Excellent video. I suffer from a retrocalcaneal spur that has been nagging me for the last couple of weeks. When is this technique applied? At night, or during the day? Can one walk or hike with this tape? Thx!
I've never understood how putting tape on the outside of the skin has any affect on tendons below the skin. I see pro athletes doing it so there must be something to it but I just don't see any mechanical connection
that's a fair observation. my patients describe that it feels like a custom fitted brace would - put the fibers and the stretch in the right places so during movement they provide just enough pressure to guide their motion and/or give them feedback. Since most repetitive injuries occur in the last few degrees of our 'normal' motion, this can actually be pretty helpful. Good luck if you try it!
a decent brand is designed to stay on through showers/baths. if the skin is not irritated, the tape can stay on 2-3 days for cheaper and cotton varieties up to 5 days for higher quality poly blends
Skin should be clean and free of oils and lotions. Soap and water or dilute alcohol (I keep some in a spray bottle mixed with water at my clinic) will do the trick. Good luck!

My dear did u had planter fascia or just heel pain cuz i have very very bad planter fascia
Helped my heel bursitis tremendously, thank you!!
Over the years taping has helped me with plantar fasciitis, Achilles insertional inflammation, knee pain, and wrist strain.
That tip about getting used to the feel of the stretch was great! thank you!
Excellent demonstration! I’ve had Achilles bursitis for over 3 years. Ugh!
Thanks for watching and good luck with your achilles! Ugh is right!

Calcaneus problem more thn 7 yrs!!! Plz hlp🙏
Should I stretch my heel/foot/ankle with the tape on?
What sort of strengthening for these tendons do you recommend for maintenance? Tape is great for flares, but curious about a long term solution
great question! i'll add it to my video to-do list, thx!
Dea sir i have bad pain of planter fascia since 4 months straight could u plz help me suggest
Thank you very much for your tutorial.
Heel spur suggestion, please.
What's the rationale for not using 100% tension for maximal support?

Where can I buy the tape?
Walmart or academy has it in my area at least
can it get wet, as you take your shower? How long after taping can you remove them?

Do you have to put rubbing alcohol on before taping?
