I used to drive and handicapped parking spot was very handy for me " people who park there is a very convenient" so please if your not handicapped be responsible and don't park there

They do know they’re wrong; but they don’t care as long as they get their way! They feel that they are to be given the right to do literally anything they want to do, & nobody or nothing better cross their line!! It didn’t work out for her this time, especially throwing the balled up ticket at the Officer striking him in the face with it!! When the realization of her actions cost her more than she thought possible; she reverted back to the spoiled child that she probably had been raised; including her fake apology & fake tears! Years ago when I first became extremely ill & still was able to drive, I went to the grocery store & really needed a handicapped parking spot, but everyone of them was filled with mostly non- handicapped people! I ended up just coming back home without going inside the store. That was one of last times I even left the house & I decided to sell my car due to my health getting worse. I’m now unable to drive, & I am on Hospice home care & bedridden!
We really need more kindness in our world!!

All she had to do was move her car to a more legal spot. She was asked nicely, but her childish behaviour only made things worse for herself. She's the one who truly needs to grow up.

@@jameslalley3787 Yes, they always do that nonsense. But, some of the police officers don't put up with that. This is the reason why they employ tasers, wraps, helmets and spit masks. I saw one episode where the police did that to a Karen and when they were done with her she looked like a crash test dummy, or something from Buck Rogers.

Yes, my name too is Karen. Here in Australia it is not normally used in a "put down" way but I guess it will happen. Oh dear! We tend to copy the Americans - in both good and bad ways

I can't stand selfish people who park and disabled parking. I never have parked in a disability spot, until I became disabled and cannot walk more than a few feet at a time due to severe spinal problems. Trust me those disabled parking spots that are close to the entrance have saved my life.

Outcome respect the rules because by breaking it can have consequences because of the Karen’s decision she was arrested and sentenced to 5 years in prison and was fired from her job
We have several Karen's that take up the handicap spots in front of my apt bldg! The police won't do anything because it's private property! I called the office and because I don't have a car, (I'm disabled), I don't need a spot..........I do have a handicap placard from the state and I have friends that are handicapped that pick me up but have nowhere to park except far away from the entrance to the bldg! I was going too call one of the investigative reporters from the tv station, but I'm elderly and afraid of retribution.......

I am 71 years and i still do not park in handicap parking. When i was younger and i had my mother with me. I had a handicap sign that i carried in the vehicle. The only time i used it was she was with me. Other than that i parted in regular parking

As a handicap person myself, I take care of a disabled veteran I’ve been through this I’ve been accused of. I am not handicap and I called 911 the store is self is not responsible for jackasses. It’s a police an issue.
I had some friends in school that were disabled. I feel for them, what if a disabled person needed that spot?

As a person who needs this spot because I have problems walking, I deal with this ALL the time. That excuse, I will only be here a minute, heard that before too. I have the police non emergency number on speed dial.
would be nice to have a follow up on that, only now that karen is now disabled and can't park in a handicapped zone, because it's taken by somebody just like her and now she sees the other side of the coin.

I'm physically handicapped and I've always had a perfect thing to say to people stealing handicapped parking places, and boy do they move their cars fast. I tell them "these spots are for the physically handicapped, not mentally". I get a surprised Pikachu face and like I said they move to a different spot.
I’m handicapped with handicapped plates, but I don’t park in these spots because there’s more worse off than me.

I’m a disabled person. I find this often and it’s really hard for me. I have a very limited distance how far I can walk as I usually use a wheelchair at home. If I can’t get disabled parking it’s too far for me and makes all the difference. If I attempt to park in a regular spot I feel I am not going to make it there or back. I feel like I will fall from the effort and It causes so much anxiety I often give up on what I had to do. These handicapped parking bays make an incredible difference and we are less likely to ding your car as we struggle to get into or out of ours as these bays are wider to accomodate our difficulties. Please consider these things when you steal disabled parking spots.

All she had to do was move her car to a regular customer parking space and all this would've been avoided. She wasted her and the cops' time. I also get where she's coming from that the likelihood of a disabled person rocking up within a 10min time frame is slim as 10 mins is a very short time span. However, she probably over exaggerated saying 10 mins.

Has anyone run into a situation where a person parks in an marked and signed emergency lane in front of a store in a small mall and you're told to "mind your own business?" I think laziness is behind a good amount illegal parkers.

I need those handicapped spots & have had to call the cops on people that park in handicap spots. I have even had someone park on the yellow lined van spots. This woman's attitude is completely wrong. I can't get into a store without using a handicap spot to get out of my van & using my medical scooter.
I used to joke with my father who is 66 to park in a handicap parking spot for convenience purposes but he wouldn’t do it even if it was a joke. Believe me, I don’t encourage people to park in handicap parking spots for real unless they really need it because it’s not fair to those that really need it. One lady got evicted from her apartment complex not only for parking in a handicapped spot when she didn’t need it but causing other series of problems as well. So it’s never worth parking in a handicap parking spot at all

Follow the safety laws or you will be ride up or face the consequences in court. I would never break the law or traffic laws. If you really park in a disabled spot always have a permit card to park. That Karen lives to regret it.

I hate people doing this. But don't forget. People do get handicaps for no reason to try to park in handicap spots to where they really don't need it. I have seen people with them and they looked totally fine.
Saw one yesterday at had a parking handicap sticker but she didn’t have that person with her and she parked in the handicap deal and got out and looked perfectly fine to me walked in the store I can’t understand why people park in a handicap parking place that don’t need to when they got that person with them
Why didn't they invent cars that you can fold up and put in your pocket? Then you wouldn't need parking lots.
