Knox Gelatin! You’ll be able to poke someone’s eye out! Mix part of a packet with a small amount of water. Warm it in the microwave. Work it into hair and blow dry until stiff. Warm up the knox/water mixture as needed!

I am 34 turning 35 in January folks in my age group from the '00s era we're all about using either elmers glue(white or the clear version worked fine) and also would use gelatin. Honestly the egg mixture was still being used but that was being used by those who would now be in their 40's at the youngest to their 60's at oldest in other words the egg mixture was defiantly being phased out by the time my age group came around..
I will admit got2b was around in fact came out when I was in high school but none of us found it to work as well as gelatine & elmers glue ahahaha but I suppose if you have the patience to use this brand it works well and less damaging to your hair. I say this because being hispanic/Native American mixed I used to have such beautiful horse tail thick hair but after year's of using bleaching, dying and using elmers glue I horrificly damaged my once beautiful super thick hair that nowadays I have more of medium fine type hair.. oh welp the price to pay for what I did...

They would usually last that long depending on how I slept on them and yes I showered every day in between except for those really really tough nights dancing in a 30x40 ft American Legion Hall all night at a show on a school night not getting home (sleeping over a friend's house) until 5:00 a.m. then having to go to school covered in Old English malt liquor, beer, blood, sweat and maybe some tears those days I would just cover it up with Polo black always seemed to do the trick😂👍👍🤙
