that's the reason why I wanna get an air fryer.... I tried to grill a steak twice in the oven only for the alarm to go off TWICE. at least, if there is smoke from the air fryer, I can put it out on the balcony lol
To add to the original comment: Letting the steak rest helps keep the steak juicy. Time is needed to for the juices spread all over the inside of the steak.
Jared, I really appreciate you taking the time time to let me know that you liked the video. How was your air fryer experience, do you mind sharing your experience on facebook.com/RandomFix It would really mean a lot to me personally. Thanks _RandomFix
Sean, did you try make steak in it yourself? Can I get your help? CHECK OUT MY OTHER CHANNEL and subscriber if you like it. THANK YOU ▶️ ruclips.net/channel/UC-wuhWwzZnFOWK-GMsP6Ejw MANY THANKS _Randomfix
Your steak would cook better, if you let the Air frier heat up before throwing the steak in their, also - steak typically takes 3-5 minutes to fully cook inside once you take it off the pan, it would be more tender if you let it rest, otherwise it can get a bit dry and stiff on ya, take care !
Not true. The air must circulate around the food too cook it. You do have to flip it because the top is going to be hotter than the bottom no matter what.
Yea just stack three on there. Add a baked potato and throw your w2’s in there as well to get those taxes done at the same time. Did you really just ask this?
frank, good question, If I cook a thicker steak, I will let it rest but for 1/2 inch ribeye like this cooked in an air fryer, I actually like to have it piping hot.
Do you consider the airfry method superior to grilling? Does it stay more juicy than grilling? Or does it perhaps taste more like roast beef? Nice video. Thanks.
Iso Man, great questions, grilling is awesome when done perfectly, however, the airfryer delivers me more consistent result so you will almost always have a great juicy steak. The only thing I prefer to airfrying is out grilling with wood which can be a lot more time consuming. I used the air fryer earlier today to grill 3 awesome burgers that were done perfectly ( the secret to the best burgers is fat content, get the fatests ground beef 30%). _RandomFix
You just messed up that steak by adding olive oil! 😫😝 It doesn't need any fat while cooking. Maybe in the last minute of cooking, throw in some cold butter. Or at the beginning of cooking, slather the meat with some Wagyu Beef Tallow. But ditch the olive oil! 😝
Tremarri, I'm sorry to hear that your air fryer didn't last. I have had my Avalon Bay for close to 2 years now and no complaints. Sometimes the simpler the air fryer the better it is. -Randomfix
Thank you for the feedback and i will try the 10 minutes next time. I have been seeing the difference when I do let it rest more with smoked brisket. I sometimes let it rest for 6 hours wrapped in several blankets.
'you cheated a little and added olive oil'. This is what you said. I don't know how can can expect a steak not to dry out if you don't use some kind of oil.
Don't tell people to not pierce the steak and then cut it immediately without letting it rest. It's like telling your kids not to smoke weed and then confessing to having a crack habit. Any meat should be rested at least a third of the cooking time.
Dan, Thanks for the feedback, eating the steak while it's hot off the grill/air fryer is my personal preference. I do the same thing when barbq. _Randomfix
So many triggers. First off the cross contamination, that alone made my guts shiver. Please let the steak rest before slicing. You did not to poke holes in it as you stabbed it with a fork. And for someone who smokes meat and cooks steaks daily via various methods, cutbacross the grain bro. Other than that, nice vid. Enjoy family time and the meal.
Damn it show what the middle looks like! You cut it and then don't show what it looks like in the middle!? We have no clue how that steak cooked, thanks for nothing

I recall like steak and appreciate your feedback. Lately I have been smoking meat and now I’m in habit of resting it for at least 3 hours on the bigger brisket and it’s amazing. 🤩
Buddy, you just convinced me to get an air fryer! I am tired of smoking up the apartment trying to cook steak and coughing lol
Yeah the air fryer is good cooking made easy. It helps if you preheat the air fryer for steaks 🥩
that's the reason why I wanna get an air fryer....
I tried to grill a steak twice in the oven only for the alarm to go off TWICE.
at least, if there is smoke from the air fryer, I can put it out on the balcony lol
Heating the air fryer before you put the steak helps shear it and locks in moisture
Great tip, thank you for sharing about preheating the air fryer.
Came out nice. One degree Fahrenheit right now outside. Got my fryer in the garage. Glad I’ve got it. Thanks for the instructions.
I'm a fan of using the air fryer, just because it's easy clean up.
Yes and it keeps the energy bills low.
You should let the steak rest after it's finished cooking. It loses a lot of moisture if you cut into it right away.
Gary McCaffrey how long should you let it rest before cutting?
Gary McCaffrey That’s true but he had hungry kids to feed
@@mistermister1050 half the time that it cooks. He cooked 15 minutes, so let it rest 7 to 8 minutes
Thanks for sharing!

When I grew up it was called a delmonico steak. Fun hearing all the different names.
Aww, precious little boy.
Chowder125, Thank you for the positive feedback : ) _RandomFix
I will never understand why people put all these seasoning on steak S&P is all you need when it comes to steak im so glad you stuck to the basics ❤
Because there's nothing wrong with more flavor
@Ade Bakari no shes right. A good cut of steak and kosher salt and it melts in Your mouth with flavor.
Thank you for your feedback, much apprecated!
I did a test during Covid. 5 steaks 5 season. Montreal steak seasoning is hands down the best out there
That steak looked so delicious. Im gonna get a airfryer on the weekend. Great video.
Jared, I really appreciate you taking the time time to let me know that you liked the video. How was your air fryer experience, do you mind sharing your experience on facebook.com/RandomFix It would really mean a lot to me personally. Thanks _RandomFix
I'm trying it tonight.
Thank you for the feedback .appreciate it.
With a gas grill that close I’m using the grill,I’m sure it’s good in the air fryer but just not as good as on the grill for my taste
Thanks for the feedback, the grille is awesome but there is little to prep or clean up with air fryer.
love my air fryer..just a mini oven..works gr8....
Good to know!
My Airfryer comes with stake rotisserie basket it is amazing
Great video the kids came in at a perfect timing. That was funny and informative. I'm gonna make it right now thank you sir.
Perfect. Thank you
You're welcome!
Shouldn't you flip the steak 1/2 way through ? Let it rest for at least 5 minutes before cutting in as well.
I didn't see your commeent before, do you still need help?
Pretty cool. I've never used an air fryer for this before.

good coking will explain thanks des, uk
Thank you for the feedback!
Love my Air Fryer...

Awesome deckel.
Thanks
Wouldn't you normally let the steak rest before serving?
Yeah, not a bad idea but we ate it all and not much leaked out.
is it true you can stack up more than 1 steak and it will still cook fine? and no need to flip it? how about cooking it from frozen?
Not true. The air must circulate around the food too cook it. You do have to flip it because the top is going to be hotter than the bottom no matter what.
Yes you can but you need the accessory to do it. And frozen steak is not a problem. Hit the defrost first and then cook it as normal.
Yea just stack three on there. Add a baked potato and throw your w2’s in there as well to get those taxes done at the same time. Did you really just ask this?
Sorry for the late reply! did you find a solution?
good video, about to air fry a steak tonight
Jay Hardin , glad to hear you liked it. Try the burgers after the steak. ruclips.net/video/6fbQNL0kHFo/видео.html. Cheers
Good video
Did you let it rest after you took it out? Cute kid. GOD BLESS
frank, good question, If I cook a thicker steak, I will let it rest but for 1/2 inch ribeye like this cooked in an air fryer, I actually like to have it piping hot.
2 mins either side great at 400f.
Okay, 2 minutes on each side, cast iron?
Do you consider the airfry method superior to grilling? Does it stay more juicy than grilling? Or does it perhaps taste more like roast beef? Nice video. Thanks.

grilling is superior. airsoft is lazy faster but wont come out very good as grilled
It looks good, but couldn't really see a good shot of the inside of the steak.
Hi Mona, I will make a point to show the inside of the steak future videos, thanks for the feedback. -RandomFix
Mona!
No pink?? Dang I want alot of pink
Peterbilt9996, I too like a little pink in my steaks but the kids like it medium well. Have a great day : ) -Randomfix
Dislike for not letting the steak sit for a few minutes....come on man...rookie mistake.
Hiigway_Chile, Thanks for the feedback, I like eating it hot off the grill, no resting. _RandomFix
Believe it or not, the temperature of your steak will actually rise while it's resting.
Gotta flip it 1/2 way 👍
Don’t have to flip when cooking in the air fryer
yup over 15 bucks a pound is crazy nuts....
I appreciate your feedback

Well said, thank you for the great recommendation!!!
Can't see the meat after you cut into it.
Thanks for the feedback. NOTED
15 mins at 400 deg = shoe leather
Ace, it didn't taste like leather. _Randomfix
I agree. Especially one that thin.
You need to show the inside of the steak.
Absolutely! Poorly made video. . .
Thank you for the feedback. Noted
1 brought the nuwave airfryer for a 160 dollars and it don't work anymore after just one month after I brought it. Junk...
Tremarri, I'm sorry to hear that your air fryer didn't last. I have had my Avalon Bay for close to 2 years now and no complaints. Sometimes the simpler the air fryer the better it is. -Randomfix
I hope you returned it and got another one.
Wouldn't have gone for the oil myself
15 minutes would burn it to a crisp.
I appreciate your constructive comments, thank you for the feedback!
1:41 beginn
I appreciate your constructive comments, thank you for the feedback!
I deleted a comment completely by accident and didn't get the name but my fryer is about 2 months old.
Thank you for your feedback, much apprecated!
I'm on the fence on the Air Fryer. If used indoors is there much smoke?
Hi Ron, there is very little smoke if any when you use the air fryer indoors. I use mine indoor 99% of the time.
Thanks for responding. I think I am convinced now I have to do is convince my wife. Thanks again.
Anytime.
No smoke at all from mine. it's amazing.
Thanks. All this input is good. I don't know how we did anything before the internet. LOL!
why would you add olive oil?? air fryer needs no oil. If anything, add a little butter for the steak to absorb
Ish, Great question. Just personal taste, you can add butter if you like. I normally add butter if I'm cooking in cast iron.
So you dont have to flip over ur steak halfway through?
Rodney, yes you don't have flip the steak in air fryer. _Randomfix
That meat is well done! 😝 Let it rest! But next time, just cook for 10 minutes.
Thank you for the feedback and i will try the 10 minutes next time. I have been seeing the difference when I do let it rest more with smoked brisket. I sometimes let it rest for 6 hours wrapped in several blankets.

Be careful not to cut any holes in it... cuts it as soon as it comes out 😢
Damn that rib eye was so sad
Why is it sad? I cooked it and absolutely loved it. _Randomfix
Show the steak please
Thanks for the feedback

Dan, Thanks for the feedback, eating the steak while it's hot off the grill/air fryer is my personal preference. I do the same thing when barbq. _Randomfix
you need to let it rest for 5 min.
NOTED
15 minutes?
Too long? If you preheat the air fryer I would got 12 minutes and it depends on the size and thickness of the steak 🥩
so you cant really get a good sear cooking it in an air fryer huh
Thank you for your feedback, much apprecated!
So many triggers. First off the cross contamination, that alone made my guts shiver. Please let the steak rest before slicing. You did not to poke holes in it as you stabbed it with a fork. Thanks for the feedback. You have a lot of great tips.
you have weak guts brah.
she is beautiful she must look like her dad
Thank you for your feedback, much apprecated!
I like the way you showed us nothing, especially not the inside of the steak lol. Good job
Thanks for the feedback
Gotta' let a steak REST Bro!
Also, always pre-heat your airfryer!
thank you for the feedback!
That looks like steak for someone who really doesn't like steak. I am surprised that you didn't put A1 on it bro. SMH.
I do like A1 but this steak didn’t need it.
It’s over done
Thank you for the feedback. Appreciate
its not faster, safer or cleaner. aa 1 inch steak takes 5 minutes to cook on a hot cast iron skillet. this is blasphemy hate from texas
Well random have you learn to cook a steak yet??
After many years, yes, I also moved to Texas so that has helped. I now sios vide and then the air fryer it for 5 minutes with a preheated air fryer.
Another poorly executed air fryer video.
You never showed how well the steak was or wasn’t cooked.
Thank you for your feedback. I will do better in the future with showing the meat 🥩
Damn it show what the middle looks like! You cut it and then don't show what it looks like in the middle!? We have no clue how that steak cooked, thanks for nothing
I love how you used a picture of a PROPERLY cooked steak that actually looks good other than that leather jacket you whipped up for the kids lmao
The leather jacket was really juicy.
way to fatty of a cut
Thomas, Thanks for the feedback. _RandomFix
You overcooked the stake, and even if you didn't you didn't let it rest.... sorry, it tells me, you don't know the first thing about cooking steak bro
I love ribs and feedback bit.ly/YTRandomFix

That steak looks perfect. I hate that some of you people like bloody chewy ass steak 🤮🤮
5mins each side for medium rare
