This is how a cooking video should be... straight to the point, no messing around & no overpowering music that you can barely hear over... here's what you need, here's how you set it up, this is when you check it, here's how you wrap up & DONE! & all under 5 mins! It shouldn't take 20 minutes to explain how to do a 20 minute steak... Great job!👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿🖖🏿😎👍🏿
I came here (finally) to say what most everyone has already commented. Watched several (several) vids on air fryer steak and yours IS the shortest, to the point and looks delicious. Sending a message of thanks and paise for you sharing this. Sincerely, Your newest subscriber.
I am so grateful that I found this video. I followed your recipe and cooked it to temp just like you did. It turned out perfect. Full of flavor and very tender. I let it marinade in the fridge over night after I rubbed salt & pepper on it.
Excited to try this, saw many other vids where you just know they're gonna be talking about their seasoning and what they did round the house for the first 10 minutes. This makes me feel like I have a shot at preparing a competent steak, thanks so much dude.
@@Caribeque I tried it out dude, bought scotch fillets and it worked just the same, haha came out perfect for the first steak attempt and the butter really added that extra flavour with the seasoning, thanks so much.
I have a Philips XXL air fryer. The guide says to cook beef at 400, but when I do it smokes like crazy. I've tried putting a little water in the bottom, but it just makes everything take longer to cook and I worry about the water affecting the heating element. So, I decided that lowering the temperature to 325 accomplishes the same objective and I don't have to worry about water damaging the heating element. Using the $50 grill plate, it takes almost 2 mins longer to cook a ribeye steak, and it seems to cook more evenly. I still get the sear that I'm looking for because of the grill plate and the center of the steak looks perfect. If you're going to be cooking steaks in your Philips air fryer, the grill plate accessory is a must have.
Just made this and ohhhhmy LAWD! Perfect! Little pinker than I was used to but the fact I experienced less chew made up for it. On top of no signs of meat between my teeth🙌🏾10/10
Kurt, I don’t have the luxury of an outside grill.. I live in the city… Well thanks to you I made 3 beautiful steaks for my wife daughter and myself. Gracias! You Made me a subscriber.
Looks nice! Will pair beautifully with a glass of merlot and a few asparagus spears. Never tried a steak in my air fryer but plan to now. Thanks for posting.
Nice and precise video. I've done it this way, but the fat-side-down part is new to me so I'll try that with my next steak. I do 400 degrees for 6 minutes on each side (I prefer medium instead of medium rare).
You cooked that New York Strip Steak. Thank you for that crust tip. That is good delicious cooking. Your steak looks so good and delicious. Keep it up.
Hey brother that looks awesome!!! I wanted to ask what model air fryer are you using currently, theres so many i dont know whats the best. Looking for a single basket like yours.
Looks delish! I've watched a few steak in the air fryer videos and no one "glazes the pan" to capture every juicy bit of juice. a) why not and b) how could we do it? Thnx!
You can glaze it if you so choose. I usually add some garlic butter on top after so I don’t need the juices. There is also a lot less fat than using a cast iron skillet
Man, I cooked a chunky steak in my air fryer. 370 grammes/13 ounces. The fatcap was rendered so crispy, just like crackling. Saved the fat for potato waffles. Mine wasn't as done and it shed a lot of juice. Maybe next time I'll cover it as it rests. Wasn't as fibrous as pan fried.
We just purchased a Gourmia air fryer and as far as we can tell there is no advantage in time or quality compared you my gas grill. So we are boxing it up and returning it to seller!
Out of the dozens of air fryer steak videos I just watched, your video is the shortest, clearest, and has the best results by far. Great job.
Thank you very much!!!
@@Caribeque *NotaCerealKilled* nailed it... this video has just convinced me - I am getting an air fryer and shall do my first steak ever 👍
@jaroslavzaruba2765 that’s awesome!!

Great video..
Glad you enjoyed it
Can you get the same results with a glass bowl style of air fryer like the “Big Boss”?
I’m sure if you check the instructions on your air fryer that it should work. I’m not familiar with the “glass bowl “ style
I know which video I'm coming back to when I get an air fryer!
Thank you
Looks closer to medium/medium well but I still want to try it.
That's not medium well on the inside!
thank you and you sound like Jay Lethal Pro Wrestler !
Lol 😂 thanks!
How long do you cook for medium well
Until an internal temperature of 135-140 degrees or just add an extra 2 minutes or so
Appreciate you my boi
Thank you
Can’t wait to try this 😂😩
what about if you want it welll done. how many minutes?
It’s more about temperature so add maybe another 3-4 minutes
Trying this right now as I type and fowling along lol
Please let me know how it came out
@@Caribeque came out perfect, very tasty 🤤!!
I am so trying this soon.
Awesome
Might try this :-)
My air fryer goes up to 510 degrees.
Is that better than 400 ?
Happy New Year Everyone 🇺🇸❤
Yes
Did you use Pam? I thought that’s bad for the coating of the fryers?
I used olive oil spray

Sounds delicious @gunzee
Would steak, seasoned in Dale’s steak sauce be good after it’s air fried?
I’m sure it won’t suck! Try it out
@@Caribeque I want to, but my family won’t let me.
Does it matter if you clean the steak with water or not?
I personally don’t, but feel free to try!
