“I want to motivate and inspire others to follow their dreams…corny? Well maybe but it’s true. So what’s motivating me?? I had a huge tumour removed summer 2016. However, despite not being able to walk for a few weeks, and feeling generally awful…. It has made me create and do what I love! It wasn’t an easy time but I won’t let fear dictate my life. I didn’t think ‘why me’, there are plenty of horrific issues people have to deal with…it’s not always smooth sailing. It’s true when you hear, ‘Life is short’, the crazy thing is, I am glad it happened…I appreciate life even more and try to practice gratitude everyday…It’s so easy to get caught up with the little things…and I do sometimes, but look at the bigger picture, will it matter in a year or two…we are all specks of dust…Also thank you for all your support. It means a lot. I have suffered from anxiety from the past and self confidence, (yeah hard to see now right) didn’t think I was ‘good, or worthy enough’ but I feel I have a new lease of life, don’t really care as much and want to show you guys what I have! : ) You are all awesome and without you, there would be no channel.

They wrote it theirself! Suga, the one who rap at 2:10, was the one who produce and wrote this song.
They do write their own music, it's one of the things that makes BTS stand out in kpop, because, like you said, kpop works like a factory, the groups and music are 'manufactured'.
If you liked this slower song, without any choreography, you should check out their live performances for 'Dead leaves/Autumn leaves' and 'house of cards'. Those also focus more on the vocals.

BTS write and produce their songs, and not all kpop groups does that. That's why we love BTS sooo much because of their lyrics, authentic and sincere music that really touches people's heart and mind. They talk about alot of things that people in all walks of life, gender, nationality can relate to. They sing, dance, rap, write their own songs and produce it as well.. they are what we call a phenomenal group. Yes, BTS write compose and produce their own songs. Suga, the first rapper wrote and produce this song. V was the first vocalist. Jungkook was the second vocalist. JHOPE was the second rapper. Jin was the third vocalist followed by Jimin who also hit the high note in the end. And RM was the last rapper and the leader of BTS.

The one that hit that high note at the end was jimin and the first person singing was V with his deep voice. In the mv 'singularity' its a solo song of him. It's slow r&b /jazz so you can definitely hear him.

Thank you for reacting to this song. The one who wrote that song is Min Yoongi or Suga for his stage name, he is the 1st rapper, the one with green hair.
He wrote this song based on a past relationship.
Anyway I also request BTS the *Truth Untold* lyric video, sung solely by the Vocal Line. It's truly a beautiful and meaningful song as always.

They do write their own songs, the two main producers are two of the rappers (RM, Suga) but the other members produce other songs as well. V took part in producing this one😊❤️

He says that he doesn't have a stable voice for singing (because they dance while performing live) but then he did a lot of high notes. I don't know why. I hope you will do a reaction video to BTS Jimin solo song 'Lie' so that I want to know your opinion and comments about his voice.

BTS compose, produce and write their own lyrics, they are a talented group. The Kpop industry is viewed as manufactured but BTS is set aside from that because of this. Their songs touch on many topics not common in boy groups or in kpop, they talk about mental disorders, political issues, issues with the youth, issues with society, issues with school system, tragedy of loss and death and controversial things that isn’t normal in kpop which is why they are different.
The really high note is one of the members too. One of their vocalist his name is Park Jimin the guy with the orange hair. Check out their other performances like Lie 💕💕💕

They do write and produce and their own song. They all they part doing their music specially the leader RM (the rapper with pink hair) and Yoongi ( the first rapper who rapped)
BTS write and produce MANY of their own songs/albums. They were put together as a group by Big Hit Entertainment and are one of the most successful groups in South Korea. But unlike lots of "younger" kpop idols, they have a lot more creative control over the material they create and also the dancing they do. :3
What I mean by that is that it usually takes a while for an idol to develop the reputation needed to be allowed to do more of their own thing and be trusted to make more of their own stuff.
RM and Suga (both rappers in BTS) are both songwriters and producers of their music.

Jimin is, simply put, a pure tenor whose range and timbre rest in countertenor territory. Countertenor is this highest male voice possible in terms of categories, equal to that of a contralto female voice, so this is a remarkable feat. His range seems to span from around a G3 to an A5, though it's possible that he may be able to sing higher, his voice is calming and sweet and I love him ♥️
Jimin (orange haired) is the one who did this high note and he also does a lot of high notes bc he has a higher range than the others!!

When I say Jimin has a higher range, I mean his voice is higher and he can consistently keep sing in a high tone throughout an entire song. Taehyung can reach the highest, but he can't sing in such a high tone for the period that Jimin can because Taehyung has a naturally low voice.

P.S can you watch born singer live .Born singer is a very emotional song about how the haters hate and how far they came to be where they were , it was emotional that Jungkook actually cried and the members teared up while singing it live!

Am I the only one who was totally shocked, that they used the "Wrong" live Performance? I'm so used to the "Iconic" Version in reacting Videos that i wasnt expecting to see another XD
BTS are one of the few groups who are very successful and do everything themselves. Songwriting, producing, etc.

I enjoyed your reactions. The first rapper stage name Suga wrote this song. His songs are some of my favorites! Thank you. There is another version of let Me Know that i enjoy more. It shows Jimin who sang the last high notes and he sange for a bit longer. There is also a version that they sang live on a television show that I enjoy.
Glad to see you reacting to my fav. kpop boygroup BTS. They're one of the best group i know who can sing w/ steady vocals while dancing and performing live. They also composed/write their own songs and if you dig deeper into their music you'll be amazed coz BTS started a music narratives that connects all of their albums since 2015. It's a storyline where they play 7 characters of themselves in their music narrative universe and it tells the story of these boys going from childhood to adulthood and all the pain and struggles they have to face. That's another reason why many love their music.💕👍

You should listen to The truth untold, or magic shop. Its not a live perform tho, but its pretty good as well
bts is rare in the sense that they actually do write their songs. Bts was brought together very specifically to make sure that each specialized in one skill that could contribute to the band. One member is known for writing beautiful lyrics, another on his composing, a couple with their dance moves, and then the rest with their vocals. Its cool watching interviews cause whenever a specific question comes up over dancing, voice technique, writing, etc. They all turn to the person who usually leads that category. They do have a choreographer and producers but its very rare for them not to be involved in the making of anything they create.
Yes, they write and produce all their own music. They do collaborate with other musicians on creating their amazing sounds. Their harmonies are legendary. They have trained for years to be able to sing while dancing and singing with no backups. They do all their own singing live.

A live performance of BTS where they are singing and dancing at the same time and you can see their faces is "BTS Spring Day - Wings Tour Japan "Saitama." It is one of my favorite BTS's songs and is actually the first song I saw/heard them perform. The song itself is about grief. I need to stop typing, my dog is giving me dirty looks because I'm typing instead of scratching her.

i believe you are speaking about the BBC documentary about kpop and they use BTS as the main group when talking about kpop. However they use general facts to describe the whole industry, including BTS. This is where the documentary missed key parts on why BTS's success is different from other kpop groups. Yes, BTS was put together by a company but BTS also write and produce their own songs and speak about social injustices facing the younger generation. This is unlike many kpop groups who have songs made for them with generic lyrics about love (but this doesn't mean the songs are bad, they're still great songs).
Emmy Tang besides the fact that they write produce the songs , there's the fact that they aren't in the BIG 3 entertainment companies ( SM, JYP, YG ) , theyre from a company that wasn't famous at all and they still made it to the top , which is rare !

Unlike most K-Pop groups, BTS does write and produce a lot of their own music, which a lot of people think is one of the main reasons why their fan base is so global. For the most part, it's the three rappers that do most of the writing/producing, though especially recently, the four vocalists have been trying their hand at both crafts and have been finding a lot of success with it.
