The roar that thing makes is epic
Honestly a roar on every coaster rollor coaster is what every coaster needs
Batman does almost the same noise as mr freeze but it’s just that mr freeze is a lil more louder then Batman . And also I go to six flags every weekend and this ride is my favorite. That loud roaring noise is my favorite noise in the park .

Gael Solis Six Flags St. Louis has a Mr. Freeze as well, and I can safely say that ours is much louder, and yes, I have ridden both
Mr freeze is far more louder and more satisfying to hear and those 5 or 6 clicks then the roar so clean

I did all the rides at the park today, and this and the superman one were by far the most thrilling.

this ride is amazing
Never rode this coaster before (nor been out of my state Illinois) but I love this ride only because it's a launch coaster with brakes that be on wooden coasters.
Its so loud we could hear it from our hotel XD

The batman makes almost the same noise so you were actually hearing both

That set design--- looking like old 1960's disused, worn and decrepit warehousing--- is ingenious.
This one looks more intense than the one in St. Louis except the one in St. Louis pauses longer at the top.
wow i work here and the baskets on the side used to be so nice lol , now we just have twist tie bins & it’s really hard to talk as the operator while you’re launching it , since you have to hold onto a button on the mic to talk and press 2 buttons just to launch it
Just like Six Flags to do something like this. The minute a ride gets OLD they throw it in reverse. They do it EVERYTIME ! !

funniest ride ever yeah if your young and like so scared omg I was scared but ahh it so fun I opened my eyes the whole ride . it goes by fast like 10 seconds and it's over 😭 its fun tho

If you don't feel comfortable using the boxes on the side, all major rides have one-time use ride lockers for $1. Rent your locker, put your belongings away, ride the ride, get your things back. Simple, secure, and a cheap way to protect your valuables. :)

i only went on it once when i went, i got there before six flags opened, so when it opened i ran to the mr.freeze and there for seriously only 4 rides before us
so i rode it within 5 minutes

How come I always hear the siren outside? Like not inside... the poltergiest at sfft I hear the siren
Bcz the siren on these type of coasters like poltergeist and mr freeze in st . Louis the siren of those 2 coasters are louder and the mr freeze from six flags over Texas the siren is a better sound and goes great whit the theme and it’s just not that loud like the others
I bet its a warning for anyone in the area that the train is about to launch. Probably a safety feature.

Do those LIMs on the vertical spike also thrust the train down, or just raise it a little bit?
They push it down as well to make it faster
They actually do both.
it pushes up the train and when it goes down it reverses and shoots the train down to make it go around the track so yes it does both

I went on this ride on July 1 barely any lines my first time i went second time i out my hands up and im only 11.

As a ride operator at this park, I can answer that one for you.
Ride rules state that no photo or video cameras are allowed on the ride. If you wanted to do something like a chest-mounted camera, you'd have to talk with a Supervisor or department manager.
Maybe (without a load of schools) ten to twenty minutes max.

How comfortable is the launch backwards?
Its not bad but it launches your body forward alittle when it launches backwards if you want fast fast id advise you to go on right side train that shit goes faster than left i swear them operators be turning up the speed

Would six flags let me film onride of the roller coasters with a GoPro on the chest mount? And how do you get permission?
They should move poltergeist from SFFT to Arlington, and should move mr.freeze from SFOT to San Antonio because the mr. Freeze is soooo far away and I've rode poltergeist not than mr.Freeze.
