i loved this ride so much! i rode it when i think i was 7 (only time i rode it cause it closed after that) and i loved it! it feels like your gonna fall out on the drop! i wish they brought it back!

I'm not gonna lie this looks awesome but it doesn't match Knott's new themed boardwalk about surfing in California because this is more like a harbor with the crates and fish
I’m looking at the comments saying they miss this ride and it was the best, I rode it as a kid but looking at this now that shit is dangerous af. Someone died on this ride, that steepness is like close to a 90 degree angle. Kids rode this, my classmates did, that ride should’ve never been made. Or even approved, the ride is gone for a reason and it’s for all those possibilities of another death happening.
It was a very painfully slow line and maintence was high. It was down a lot. It now has 3 family rides in its place including a mouse coaster. Makes sense. The lady dying on the ride did no have anything to do with the closure.
So glad I got to ride this before they closed it down.

some lady died on this ride awhile back! I was there they shut down the WHOLE park, i was pisssed

What restraints did they add?
@@troysaunders2530 towards the end they used a seatbelt that went across your chest. They got rid of the over the shoulder restraints.

They had a good reason to close this. Stop complaining. A kid died on it. And it wasn't his fault like most deaths, it was the rides fault.
Actually, it was a 40-year-old women who fell to her death, back in 2001, which was long before they ever closed this ride.

Too much maintenance and cost and considering it being a small capacity ride, i can see why they're deciding to build something else.
