    Brilliant Trish
These are the type of stories that need told The Radio/News everyday just give you totals of people killed But never told about the heartache and devastation of the families left behind

Scary to think of the many agents still at the top of these criminal gangs who’ll never see a court room. living the high life at the expense of their victims and their families. She spoke very well! a strong woman indeed.

Those horrible Gardes and RUC not protecting the Terrorists who saw the latter as legitimate targets . I wonder if she feels any guilt about the many people her ex would have been involved in killing or the families left behind .

Excellent interview Trish, another dimension to the conflict, very sad. I think the lesson here is that the conflict had a way of creating many different innocent victims, the partner of someone directly involved, the children of those persons, and a nine year child losing her little life over a power struggle within a group taking part in a conflict she could not possibly understand, very sad, poor little thing, thanks for the post, M.

So many lives were tragically lost during all the feuds ( both republican & loyalist) , yet there's never been a reconciliation process initiated WITHIN the respective communities . Maybe these horrific feuds should be given some consideration in any upcoming ' truth & reconciliation ' process?? God bless all the souls 🙏

@@JB-qr2jq you'd be surprised. After speaking to a few people who supported the movement for over 40 years, it's interesting what you learn.
Again though, it's the fact that informers are at work and with the added benefit of hindsight, their work has wrecked potentially effective movements such as the IRSM. Coupled with the fallings out from various volunteers resulting in needless deaths and attention from the state, loyalists and the Provos stirring shit too, the fact that the IRSM are in existence at all is a near miracle.
