I appreciate sturdy grommets in a corset. I will take slightly industrial looking hardware over trying to fix ripped out grommets any day. I too find the feeling of the top point of a corset digging under my sternum quite unsettling. Thankyou for the thorough review, I had looked at this style based on measurments but perhaps it is not so well suited to the longer torso. Ps, congrats on your wedding! 🌻
I don't own this particular corset, but another underbust from Mystic City. What I LOVE about Mystic City is the diversity of styles and measurements. It makes it a lot more probable to find a well fitting one (as far as that's possible with otr corsets). I love my MCC corset and it is my most comfortable corset. Gives me reduction right at my waist and gives me enough room for hips and ribs! They also have a good amount of really curvy corsets
An OTR corset I actually own! I'm sad this model's discontinued, since it was one of the handful that worked for cis male figure that wasn't also designed for people substantially taller than me. Even then, that was before some fairly substantial weight loss, and never fit perfectly even then--the hips were simply too wide. Still, I loved it while I could use it, and it convinced me to move on to custom corsets, so I'll always appreciate it.
Great review! I'm really interested to see if their quality changes with their new factory. MCC has been hit or miss with me in the past. Also congratulations on your recent wedding!
Ive always wanted to get a mystic city corset but I always thought there were made for naturally very curvy women even for the small sizes 🤦♀️like they look so dramatic in picture I thought they wouldn't fit me. Nice to see your review.
In the website photographs the lacing gap looks like )( which means the mannequin has an extreme hourglass shape, making the corset look more dramatic. Additionally they do have some corsets that are 4 or 5 inch rib springs rather than the 8 inch spring that this is, however most are around 6 inches
Hi Lucy , thank you for your video and all your videos ! You are so knowledgeable about corsets and anatomy , very well done as always. Most of the time I watch on either my TV or my Roku device and I am unable to comment , however I can like and I most certainly do !! Thanks again and I hope you and your family have a joyous Thanksgiving , take care , Dreamer .
Hi there, the best corset is the one that fits your body properly and takes into account your torso length, amount of curve, and the right size. If you'd like me to look at your measurements and make a recommendation, I have a contact form here: lucycorsetry.com/measurements/
No I will not donate my hair at this time. I have already donated money, I’ve donated blood, and I’ve given years of my life to researching cancer models in microbiology and biochemistry. When my aunts and uncles get diagnosed with cancer, my parents and I help them in meaningful ways like cook and clean for them, run errands for them, do things for them that they’re not strong or well enough to do. Not a single person I know WITH cancer has personally asked me to donate it to them. I already do far more than the average person and I won’t be told to cut my hair as a performative but ultimately useless gesture towards a patient’s recovery.
Lucy has made a video addressing this and why she doesn’t donate her hair. Frankly nobody should ask another person to give up part of their body. I understand if she was planning on cutting off most of her hair and was going to throw it away, but if she doesn’t want to give up her hair, she shouldn’t.

Hi,
Hope you doing good.
When will you be cutting your hair. any plans to cut ?
I am curious why you would wear something like this. It looks very uncomfortable.
Definitely doesn't feel uncomfortable. They feel quite nice to wear.
So beatiful , you have to plan chop off your long hair ??
Mam will you donate some hair for cancer patients???? it's a very serious matter...so mam please give a reply atleast 🙏🙏🙏🙏

@@LucysCorsetry you can do what you like with your body /hair.
Looks lovely 😍😊🙂 keep going my beautiful lady.
What does this have to do with corsets? It’s really rude to ask for someone to cut off their hair.
