Just found your channel tonight, awesome stuff! Good to see you are going with no-till, and that’s the best planter setup to do it with. Simon’s a great operator too.
Hallo. Watching all your videos. All the way from south africa….Springboks😂. Farming with appels and pears. +- 300 Ha. Glad you mentioned the slug bait price. Also very expensive on this side! Keep it up!
Over Ngahinapouri way, the maize in the neighbours paddock is just showing through after the recent 10mm rain since the weekend. You should see yours quite soon with the damp soil.
It varies depending on the temperature as it's currently Summer over here in New Zealand I'm aware that it's in the Fall - Winter in the United States as their time is about to change today 3 November at 2am as it's currently 12am in the USA 5pm in NZ so NZ will be 7pm USA would be 1am after the time change
@the once a day farmer, (definitely didn't tag him) but I'm a dairy farmer from Ireland and certainly no hate but man your cows are like skeletons, I know jerseys aren't a big animal or whatever but your cows (again no hate) man their fair thin, saw your video on grasstec on Instagram and was just like wow their thin cows, like your content have a cousin over in NZ with a big farm too, great work and content tho 👍👍👍

Good honest work Andy - Feeding the World
I'm a farmer from Canterbury love watching that planter does a great job
It sure does. Where are you farming down there?
Hopefully you will have more than enough Sweetcorn to keep you all happy and enough maize to keep the cows happy too. 😊
Mighty stuff Andrew 👍
That planter does a beautiful job

I saw something about wool pellets being slug repellent. Would that be cheaper if it worked?
To be honest I’ve never heard of that before so wouldn’t know, interesting if true though 🤯
Hi I like your video
I thought you got your maize seed through Corson? Either way great video as always!
Usually do but have mates at Pioneer so changed this year 👍
Nice
in qld corn seed $450/bag
That sounds cheaper than ours
That does look like great planting conditions.
Variety trials are so important but what a bloody nuisance!
thats just 5 thousand euros for the maize seed , sounds kinda reasonable i think
Yeah your probably right 👍
