Testing the gasser on this channel, seeing if it can do 100,000 miles in less than a year without a major failure.
Do you think it can do it???

@@RamTruckTrucking My gasser has been flawless as far as power train. It’s had a few electrical issues. When I ordered the truck I didn’t want diesel. At the time I couldn’t justify the extra cost. I work for AMR who has almost nothing but gas powered ambulances (7.3l ford Godzilla motor). They have outperformed their diesel counterpart. I have the 6.4l gas ram 3500 that I am about to put to work part time pulling RV’s. I love the sound of my Hemi doing its job.

Unless you are hauling over 10,000 pounds gas is a better option. The cost of modern diesel is no longer workable. I have an older diesel, no DEF, no regen filter, manual trans. Simple compared to the new ones. Remember many service items on the new monster diesel pickups require the cab to be lifted off. If you have unlimited money fine, but most everyday Americans can't afford the modern diesel pickup.

@@pcmountaindog i agree with all of this. Diesel was doing great until DEF.

Hello. So thinking of starting to transport rv’s. Hearing about costs that eat into what one gets paid per run food, fuel, insurance, truck maintenance, etc. I never hear anyone talk about weight station stops. Are you required to stop at the weight stations to get weighed ? Or buy the gear for the no stop ones ?
