Don`t often comment. But i really look forward to your videos always informative and enjoyable.Miss the catch and cook. Glad to hear your ok.[Good to hear your filling your boots. same here, nightmare last year, at last things picking up]. Hope to see more soon, when things settle down a bit. Thank You.
Yo are an incredibly well informed fisherman and forager, by and large from seeing, asking questions to your self and finding in depth answers by careful research. What my mum would have called the seeing eye and enquiring mind. Oh! And then you do a six day week !! Not only living life fully but making the lives of others fuller. Thank you for your great efforts, I appreciate it.
Nice one Paul, I'm glad things are working out for you. If anyone deserves it then it's you. Loads of info there. I'm really missing the fishing off Clacton Pier with my son. Oh, and HP sauce too. Good luck, Colin.
Cheers Colin, I can see your channel is really taking off too, when I get time I must start watching your vids, you must be doing something right with over 600 subs!! All the best, Paul.
Whoa..Paul you are very knowledgeable and explained everything in great detail as well😊I think you are becoming a species hunter expert💯👏 I’m missing your catch and cook too..👨🏻🍳 Hoping you and your family are doing well and staying safe✌️so until next time…
Another great video Paul, interesting and very informative, thanks. Paul, I have to call a “stewards” on your species list, you’ve recorded both common carp and mirror carp. With your knowledge of all things piscatorial you know they are the same species, cyprinus carpio!
Dave well spotted!! Of course I know they are man made variants of Cyprinus carpio, mirror carp have been selectively bred over centuries to make the cook's job of de-scaling them easier, ultimately ending with the near scaleless leather variety. It's the rules of the group that I joined & this has been a discussion amongst the members of the group along with allowing brown & sea trout (Salmo trutta) to be accepted as separate entities too. Hybrids & F1's have been a nightmare!!
G’day from Australia, do what you must for your family, earn what you can while the goings good👍🏻 I’ll continue to follow you so upload when and if you can, we will still be here waiting, cheers👏🏻👏🏻🇦🇺

Brilliant video mate really enjoyed that one, mind you all your video's are great mate! 😉 One other thing I've noticed on the common/sand goby think is that the sand goby seems to have sort of zebra like markings and the common goby seems to have circular markings! I don't know if that's true just my own observations??? Looking forward to the next mate 😉🎣👍
Damo cheers mate, the markings on the fish you mention are spot on although some common gobies that I have caught in the past are really pale & can be harder to distinguish, I should maybe have mentioned the markings also!!
Really glad to see you back and glad your happy with your work and bagging some good doe happy days mate and looking forward for the next video

Great to see you out and about again around Essex. Take care

It will be difficult to get a pitch at Chalkwell paddling pool now once the catch report chasers arrive.
