Does the wall panel also maintain the batteries from the grid if there are no solar panels and still allow Automatic Transfer during outages? Also I assume the external generator port shown was just something the owner installed separately and not bundled with the home panel?

With the Generator cord outlet, I will definitely skip the smart panel but if it is a full house and getting to on manually is stressful then i will choose the Panel

Does the Delta Pro Ultra or Smart Panel 2 support APIs that I can query locally? I use Home Assistant and want to automate without the app entirely offline and I don’t want to install an electric panel that requires connectivity and an app to use it 😬
I definitely need something like that with how unreliable our power has gotten. It keeps going off momentarily messing up all the smart home devices. Power company said get used to it because they are constantly transferring power feeds to keep the grid from overloading at this point. Seems like only a matter of time before there are big outages caused by the overloaded grid in our area. Soon things like this will probably be a requirement and not an option as they take down gas power plants.
First time seeing this company, for sure I'll be here when my setup is complete, need to power a full apartment :)
Is there a dust cover for the units.
To save the maximum on energy costs, would it make sense to charge the DPU with solar during the day and then utilize the DPU to power the home during peak rate hours 5-9pm? Any downside to doing this each day and can it be automated with the app?
Hi no worries, it can work. Also if you pair the ultra in use with the panel 2, you can turn on the TOU mode, based on TOU's peak and off-peak rates and user's usage habits, the panel will intelligently manage batteries' charge and discharge to help you reduce energy bills.
I am having solar panels on my house , I want to use this for nighttime power. My installer tells me the home panel is defective and trying to get support to answer questions is useless is that true
when you stack the batteries how do you connect them to the inverter, is it just the first battery that make other batteries act as one unit?

Would it be possible to use wind turbine power input into smart home panel 2, or as a charging option for the battery bank?
Hi there, sorry for late reply. Smart home panel 2 is a sub panel which supports both grid and generator power input. If you want to use wind turbine, it is suggested to plug it into the ultra to charge the battery.

yes the low pv input 1600W and high pv input 4000W can be supported at the same time. Multiple charging can support up to 8800W when you use one inverter with at least 2 battery packs.

I want to buy one. Even go the 300 coupon but i cant find out how to wire it for my camper van. Even emailed ecoflow and the lady that responded said she didn't know 🤦🏾♀️ I was going to use it as my whole electrical system and wanted to know what EV shorepower inlet box and cord i would need to plug into the ecoflow ultra. I want to be able to charge the camper via solar, ev chargers in the city ans shore power. But idk vomponets to hook it up 😒 So I dont want to buy something so expensive and will not be able to use it.
Hi there, to answer your questions:
1. The Delta Pro Ultra has a low solar input port and a high solar input port.
2. You can use shore power to charge your Ultra, and you will need an EcoFlow AC Generator Charging Adapter and another adapter to plug into the shore power. The maximum current is 30A.
3. You can use an EV charger to charge your Ultra, and you will need an EcoFlow X-Stream Adapter.
A couple questions I do have, does it charge an EV car like the Pro does? I have 2 Pros now with dual voltage hub for this purpose. And does it use the same plug adapter to use to charge the car? Meaning, I have a plug adapter that I use on the dual voltage hub to plug into my EVSE. Am I still going to be able to use this same plug adapter or do I have to get a whole new one?

If i connect it to the 30a generator inlet through 240v outlet, will it detect grid failure and start giving power automatically???
Hi, are you using an inlet box or a transfer switch? When you turn the transfer switch from the grid to the generator, as long as the cables are chained correctly, it will not detect grid failure.
I have the Smart Home Panel 2 and ultra with three batteries. Installed on Feb 1st and I keep getting a battery error and the power connected to the panel went out for no reason for ten minutes. I called Ecoflow and was told that a tech would reach out by email. Now I paid 13 thousand for this system that doesn’t work and Ecoflow has no customer support. So an email will help solve my problem. I got this system because I have a handicap child. Why can’t Ecoflow help!!!

can i connect 10 mono microcrystalline 400 watt solar panels that might perform better than its 400 watt capability unless im wrong about that to the high voltage pv input? I am worried that it might produce more than 4000 watt, will the inverter only allow 4000 watts or will it damage that high voltage Pv input?

1. If it is portable solar panel, you can only connect up to 9 pieces of 400W solar panels.
2. Yes, the high PV input port of the Ultra can take up to 4000W.
3. As long as the VoC does not surpass 450V, it is fine.

I doubt you really save much on the TOU feature once you factor in the conversion efficiency. My utility provider would have to pay me to use it.

Hi, how many 400w solar panels you have and they are rigid panels or portable? Take portable panels as examples, if you chain three EcoFlow 400W solar panels in series and use them to charge the ultra in winter, with decent sun radiation, they can charge 7.2kWh after 6 hours.

2. That depends on your electricity consumption, how many appliances you want to run, and for how long. One battery has 6kWh capacity and this system can support up to 90kWh.

Does having this Inverter/battery do away with using Micro Inverters or some other types of string inverters for rooftop solar setups?
Hi, rooftop solar array micro inverters or string inverters are DC-AC in general. Our Delta Pro Ultra supports high/low solar input(two separate ports). You can check the specs of your own rooftop solar arrays and see which solar input port you should plug in.
Are you supposed to have a Solar Charge Controller in-between the panels on the roof and the Ultra? Is it required or just a best practice or not needed at all?@@EcoFlowTech

There is nothing really new for either product that we didn't already know...Need more specs on the panel? Can you remote turn on/off certain breakers? What brand breakers? Tandem breakers? Looks more like a subpanel but has no knockouts for wiring? How may Delta Pro's can be connected with the new dual voltage hub? 3 ports with 3 DVH says 6 to me?

1. Breakers can not be used to remote turn on/off, you can realize this with relay.

3. Tandem breakers are compatible
4. 2 pros can be connected with the new double voltage hub.
5. Smart home panel 2 only has one port that supports the 2 pros array.
@EcoFlowTech thank for replying. Which port only supports 2 Delta Pros? Seems possible that if I use 3 of the new double voltage hubs I could hook up 6 Delta Pro's? That setup would be 21.6kw just like using 3 Ultras.

Good morning. I bought this material. so EcoFlow Delta pro ultra with the Smart Home, panel 2. it’s perfect!!! The only problem is that to create automations, you need Bluetooth to search for devices via Bluetooth. Bluetooth is not working on my device. Impossible to synchronize via Bluetooth, there is no button to activate Bluetooth either physically or on the EcoFlow application, so no Bluetooth, no automation. Please tell me if you have tried Bluetooth or automation. did you find the solution to add the devices that should even already be connected together right? since they are already connected via wifi… 🤣🤣🤣
Hi there, you can set the automations via the smart home panel 2. Simply open your EcoFlow APP and scan the SN number behind the glass door of the panel 2 to add your device to the APP and connect to the internet. Or you can try Bluetooth connection. Good morning. I finally got the Bluetooth to work. And I understood why it didn't work. The system can only work with Wi-Fi or Bluetooth but not both at the same time! the moment you are on Wi-Fi the Bluetooth is cut off, which is why I couldn't synchronize via Bluetooth and detect my devices. So what did I do? I unlinked the two devices. I stopped the wi-fi at the box. he had no choice, he had to turn on the Bluetooth and there the Bluetooth was on on the screen and as soon as I turned the Wi-Fi back on, the Bluetooth was cut off again. This EcoFlow Ultra environment, while impeccably engineered on the surface, is flawed and not ready for prime time. The hardware installation and set up is simple and somewhat straight forward, but that’s where the full beauty of the design ends. The software and app that are actually responsible for insuring that you have power when the grid goes down do not deliver. The biggest issue is the parasitic draw down on the battery when the system is in idle. There are a number of functions on the app that conflict with one another, making work arounds to reduce battery drain impossible. Some app features don’t work at all. And as mentioned in another post, customer support, while courteous, is basically useless. The jury is still out to see if the software functionality is going to catch up with the hardware. I’m not holding my breath…
Is this going to lack the support like the other ecoflow products you've pushed out? When will we see the "99 days" firmware issue that still remains unresolved rolled out to the masses and community who've already spent thousands of $$$ on your products?

I want to charge my EV and/or Tesla with DPU's 240V 14-30R port (Or DPU's 240 V generator port cannot be used for this level 2 EV charging purpose???). I asked EcoFlow's tech support. She said it can be done. But I am still not sure how to set it up properly. Could you provide some more details? Thanks. I already received my DPU in my garage.
Hi, it is suggested to get a neutral to ground bonding plug (like this: www.amazon.com/s?k=neutral+to+ground+bonding+plug&adgrpid=120556264204&hvadid=631614860618&hvdev=m&hvlocphy=9032186&hvnetw=g&hvqmt=e&hvrand=2102013651095589687&hvtargid=kwd-969109812861&hydadcr=13059_13482270&tag=hydsma-20&ref=pd_sl_7rb5t1l20j_e) and plug it into the 3rd 120V, 20A AC output sockets (counting from the left to the right). It is recommended to use the 120V sockets to charge your EV. The 240V socket is not recommended. Also, may I know the specs of your EV charger? If the N-PE detection is detecting the resistor rather than the voltage, the unit will report a grounding fault.
I'm having a TERRIBLE experience with EcoFlow tech support. I purchased 2x EcoFlow Delta Pro Ultras with a total of 6x batteries ($25k), and I can't get a live person to help to make sure my solar installation is compatible. I'm about ready to return the products, but prefer just a little help. A simple call please... from a real human who actually knows the product (tech support is outsourced, and is really bad).
