earnings must be abysmal for Elon to get this desperate.
Elon made a smart move to offer FSD trial to the masses. This puts more data down for preparation for Robo taxi and more people wanting to use FSD as a paid subscription.

Im not entirely sure how theyll achieve level 5 autonomy solely off vision... How does it deal with weather conditions, darkness, etc... i dont even know how Tesla will resolve the insurance and liability issue with operating robotaxis.
I think waymo has a better approach but it isnt very scalable.
The 3200 miles between crashes on surfaces streets.. does that include disengagements?

i got the free FSD on both my tesla, this release is a good one - it does reach from point a to point b with minimal efforts. the only issue is human road rage :P

If Elon Musk says Robotaxis are coming Later This Year, That means (given his track record) we'll realistically expect them to start operation in 2031.
Pumping a Failing Stock Price is something Elon Musk is pretty good at. He Pumps, Underdelivers, and Repeats. He's done so at least 7 or 8 times now since 2015.
Best thing Tesla could do is to get a new CEO who's actually serious about Tesla and doesn't just blow Smoke up everyone's a*s all the time.

So why is it your biggest position? I asked the same question in Summer. If you don't believe in AI, tesla's growth is over. 60 P/E is extremely rich
because EV adoption is growing and eventually we know EVs are the future and Tesla is a leader in this space. Everything else is cherry on top.
@moneyvest. , even if we assume grid can one day support EV adoption and people living in apartment complexes can all charge from a street lamp (Look at Korea) Tesla needs factories to make more cars. Mexico is delayed until 2027-2028, and they have no spare batteries. What we have is 2mil sales/max. The whole valuation is based on AI
@@WarwickAvgur yes 2 mill per vehicles max right now, but we know the eventual target is 20m by 2030, even if we get to half of that, 10M sales at $40k ASP is $400B in revenue at 10% net margins is $40B in net income, X 20x multiple gives Tesla a $800B valuation. not much, but a conservative rough estimate
@moneyvest. they have trouble selling 2 mil at 40k with a ton of incentives, saying they will sell 10mil for 40k is delusional
@moneyvest. , tesla auto business is worth 60-80 per share max even in 2030. Of course if they solve FSD and make humanoids, you can get to 10 tril+. Just accept it for what it is, high risk high reward
