some background info The whole meme came out because: Protoss whines, due to perceived matchup imbalance in ZvP and maps, and they have by far the most playerbase so they populate korean forums in whine Terran whines, but are shameless because they generally results in end of day one way or another and also have "worst" weak matchup in TvP Zerg whines, but they do it indirectly by instigating pitting terran vs protoss players on forums through secret chat channels to spread percieveness that zerg is weak indirectly rather than whining directly
Literally everybody whines about the shortcomings of the race they play, simple as that. Race agnostic. It's much easier to complain about opponents race when someone gets a beat on you, has some luck, or just outclasses you because they're a stronger player on that particular day. Seems to apply to all skill levels. It's like main character syndrome. lol That being said, Flash obviously has a point. Terran will never be able to hold a third as quickly in the midgame as Z and P, so yes, easily accessible 3rd gas expo is good for Z of course. Really though, they can choose any expo on their side of the map.
Hmm im not an expert in this game but isn't terran the hardest to play and the most rewarding if you are good with it? So by that, flash and the other terran legends were able to dominate because they use terran to its full potential???
@@ZakRoM Flash played as Random in ASL 10 against other pros who dedicated their entire professional career to one race and Flash ended up placing third.
After 3 straight different T winners and 2 TvT finals, Expect some more this next season. I'm looking for an unavoidable island with multi gas and a semi island or two.
Aight so if it's not tesagi then go win the same amount of ASLs with protoss. NOT random, protoss. Protoss aint winning shit because its the shittiest race post noob level. It would be so easy to disprove tesagi. Playing random is cheese. Pick protoss, and have the same win rate. Or better, since terrans say they have it harder, have a HIGHER winrate in PvT, than you had in TvP
Shit argument and you know it. If it worked that way, Protoss users could switch to Terran and immediately start winning more since Terran is just the stronger race. They can't do that any more than Terran users can switch to Protoss, because different people have affinities for different races and playstyles within their race, and because they spent years learning their chosen race.
@@vOddy75 literally Flash said none of it has to do with the races, it's just skill. My response to that was perfectly logical. So it is entirely possible to practice with Protoss, then have the same win ratio. Your argument is the shit one. 3-3 Terran mech is unkillable. If you're in the right spot no unit and spell combination can take it out. Even 200 vs 170 can fairly easily hold. When T rolls out with 200 you can't do anything. PvT is about trying to not let terran get to this stage of the game where it becomes unkillable. I mean the 2-2 move out is literally utilizing this very simple fact. If you hit your timings, and you denied reaver harass/didn't take eco damage - and your micro is good - your army is better. The reason why terrans don't take 100% of these games is because toss players are really good at buying time, delaying this move out, picking off stray units, finding good angles etc. But then comes the skill level, when the Terran perfectly takes care of the army movement. At that point, you're physically incapabable of doing anything. Shuttles get zoned by goliaths, arbiter gets empd, no angles to take, perfect army rotation. You can make arbiters to counter, terran can counter that with emp, but it ends there and protoss can't counter EMP, for example. Terran is better when played close to perfection. Be honest: when you watch a pro T in a good shape dominate a protoss, what are your thoughts usually in terms of the mistakes that protoss made? Usually it's... Well who knows? The entire army is gone in a split second. Well, maybe if he goes in at this other angle... When a terran loses you can exactly pinpoint where the mistakes were made.
