Just came from a Motley Crue 2017 video of Kickstart My Heart and then went to this one. Poison is one of the few bands that hasn’t made an embarrassment of themself in recent years. Vince, Axl, Roth.. they all lost their voices sadly, or don’t care enough to perform well (Vince) but Poison never disappoints
I totally agree. But in their defense, both Vince and Axl have higher range vocals and I think that's more tough to perform. Still, Bret is a great frontman but I wouldn't say the best singer

I remember in 1987-88 I was more into Motorhead and Cinderella, Priest, Maiden and used to dog on Poison for the most part. Years later I realize all the feel good just kick ass rock I missed and love jamming it!
i have seen both Poison and Brett as a solo act many times. Brett plays every room like an arena show. 500 people or 50,000 performance / energy always top notch.
poison had a better template for the future. since Michaels voice is naturally lower, as they got older he didn't have to strain to hit the higher notes. the songs were already written in a lower register
