If you place the temperature probe for the temp regulator in an old beer bottle filled with water or sanitizer your regulator will reflect liquid temp inside the keezer instead of ambient air temp. This will more accurately reflect the temperature of your beer even when the lid is open.
Yes I did same with exception of co outside keezer guages read correctly and easy to check for drops in psi. used a drywall mud tray for drips. I also added a block and tackle in the ceiling for full kegs. Use a hoist better. Thank you
Awesome! You just need a few lessons on the expanding foam!
Awesome video! I bought a Keezer off a fellow homebrewer and used this vid to get it back up and running. Thanks!
I was wondering how to keep the temperature correct being it’s a freezer. A temperature control, makes perfect sense to me now. I’ll have mine up and running in about two weeks. I’m thinking a barrel of Leinenkugel’s original, a barrel of Summit EPA and some Grain Belt Premium Beer. Thanks for the tips me boy.
What a great Idea, That has has definetly captured my imagination. Thank you Cheers from Australia
One of the most important videos on RUclips right now. God bless you the world needs this knowledge.
Boy you got that right.
Great video, thx. 2 questions... Where's a good source for all the Keezer supplies and house did you make such a professional video with sound mixed in, various cutting, editing etc? Thx!
Those magnets could probably hold that box to the side of a rocket. Awesome build
Not how I would have built it, but hey it works, cold beer is cold beer :)
Just found my new COVID project 😂 this looks amazing! Congrats on the build, and thanks for the inspiration!
Wolverine State Brewing, heck yeah!
Great video my husband is making one of these right now!! Can’t wait for the family parties
Great idea.
what size is the freezer e.g. cubic ft
Looks good, but I want to see the video of you lifting that full keg of beer up and over into the Keezer.
1/4 kegs are only 80 lbs not as easy as the sixers but managable by yourself or with the lady's help
Great setup mate. I will definately make one , i sure
How did you colour the white seal/gasket black? Did you just use the enamel paint? How it holding up now?
And me with a chest freezer sized to hold a whole beef and a couple smaller animals at the same time. Hmm, life may now be a party.
I'll swing by for some beer and golf this weekend bud! haha
great job... I have about a 7.5 foot deep freezer for my ''situation'' room but with a rebreather like the one I have reuse became like orderly fashion towards my raw vegan diet lead life but that's about it helps define alot of odd jobs in my most recent years THANKS
What size is the chest freezer?
Nice job man
what size? LxWxD please
What size freezer is this
Jamison, we should be friends. Ever come out to Grand Rapids? We should grab a beer.
Great idea but you should have attached or at least stained the edges of the plywood on the drip catcher. Looks unfinished.
How large is your co2 tank for the 3 kegs?
5lb tank is plenty of CO2 for most systems.
Genial, tengo dudas ya que nonse ingles ajajja saludos desde chile
i have a question if i want to do same thing but with 6 lines, do i have just change the manifold or there are more thinks that i must considere ? really good job
Yes, you would need to get a larger manifold. Or, a dual regulator and two manifolds.
Did you perhaps hit the kegerator a little hard before you made the narration portions of the video? Either that or maybe the bong?
Hey, Rogue! You have great DIY videos, from where are you particularly in US? Our company is looking for an influencer, are you open for collaboration?
I'll have a pint of the one on the left😉
