For the Discover IT card, the last quarter has digital wallets like Google/Apple/Samsung Pay. There are several gas stations near me that accept those payments, so it can be a gas card for effectively half the year.

No. Discover it (double first year) and Freedom Flex for rotating category. I have no idea why Custom Cash is not on this list. Double cash is outdated. PayPal Master card has replaced it. WF Active cash and BoA sucks as it still has the $25 increment rule and restrictions on points that Citi, Chase, and even PayPal (which you don't have to wait an entire year) have. Custom Cash had $300 sign up bonus (lower threshold to spend) now $200. Freedom Flex has $250-$200 for $500 spend (lower threshold). Discover has a $100 sign up bonus immediately after spending. Double cash as a $100 for a $1000 which is horrible. PayPal even has $100 for $500 spend which is better than double cash. Horrible list.
