Take a ride on Rim Runner the defunct Arrow Dynamics Shoot-the-Chutes flume ride. With a height is 65 FT and a drop of 60 FT and a 80-foot camelback drop making it the worlds longest and tallest indoor flume ride. This was removed due to a leak in the track and to make way for the new ride El Loco roller coaster which is now open at the Adventure Dome at Circus Circus in Las Vegas Nevada.

Same, I remember riding the pirate ship and loving it because it was on water, I recently rode it again and something felt missing, I rode canyon blaster and got my answer. Real shame huh.

They should have kept it. they made a huge mistake taking it out and I think they realize that now. Heck, I remember when it still had the animatronic dinosaurs. They could have just put el loco where the bumper cars are.
Although it was a great ride, it always broke down and not many people rode it due to the fact that they were indoors and didn't find the need to "cool off" inside an air conditioned building. I don't think they made a mistake taking it out, and El Loco was a great choice to replace it with.
Also the fact that it took 3 minutes to get to a small ass drop.
Holy crap, how long ago was the dinosaurs? I think I remember that, but idk how long ago it was... I remember the tunnel when you went up it was dark and it shook a bit and it was loud... the walls had animal bones and if I remember correctly mining tools... also, I could never forget the animals and stuff, like the mountain sheep or ram or whatever it was. Man, it was a while... I really need to go to Adventure Dome some time soon!

I was a ride attendant on the Rim Runner when it first opened we had special f/x and animatronic dinos surrounding it.
But it inherently had problems biggest one being even weight distribution on slow days and people either wanting to sit in the front or back rows only. Initially we loaded all five rows but then that went down to only rows two to five then eventually only rows two to four - in my humble.opinion it should have closed in 1998 due to all the problems and I think the only reason it stayed open is that they had noting to replace it with.
When you ride canyon blaster you can see the remains of the ride
I was at Las Vegas and rode the canyon blaster I was like what the fuck is that and that it had a dead bird in there I could see the bones well it was all bones
+Tyler Deth Yeah all that remains is the lift hill and the track before the drop. But I don’t know why they didn’t remove those.
For a while you can see it if you sit at the back of the pirate ship when you got to the high point you'll have to look through the area where the drop was you can kind of see it

This ride basically was my childhood.
My best friend always wanted to go on canyon blaster and so straight from there we would head to rim runner.

Siena H I loved it I remember it used to go through this cave filled with gum. The Gum Cave. I went there for my 8th grade field trip and I put a gum in the cave cause I was a nasty lil kid. However I do like the new rollercoaster they put in.
Shananay Lopez Ah,I remember that too! also, it went under a small tunnel that had a bunch of gum stuck to it since it was within arm length reach. Never tried El Loco yet, my dad urged me to go on it, but I chickened out because I'm a huge weenie when it comes to straight down 90° drops. That's one thing I would never do lol.

I rode this, 4 times I believe. This is the ONLY time I ever ignored my "no roller coasters or stuff like roller coasters" policy, and I LOVED IT! I was already unhappy the first time since I broke my wrist riding my bike, so this was kinda nice.
FYI, I HATE roller coasters! I had an extremely bad experience on one at a theme park and I have refused to go on any since. I can stand by and watch because that's easy, but I outright refuse to go on another roller coaster in my life. No amount of peer pressure has worked, and I've had a major mental breakdown every single time I've tried (I'm an anxiety/depression sufferer, I got close once but dropped out because roller coasters are too scary for me)

If you play a round of golf at Pike's Pass, around the 10th or 12th hole, look down to the Roller Rink. Behind the fence you can still see a section of the track at 1:54. That little platform to the left is still there!

I never went on it cause my family never wanted to get wet but now I remember it! I remember thinking “the water on the sign doesn’t look like water, it likes like coral or rocks or something” lol and it all started coming back!

I’ve never gotten to ride this it seems fun and when I was little I remember getting a little wet on that pirate swing XD
So often I would come here during the summers and I always remember how long the lines for this ride would be. Crazy given it’s just a water ride but it didn’t matter, I had all the time to spend with my grandparents and other family.
Haven’t been there since my grandmother passed away. Maybe it’s best I keep it that way.

I remember the rock! Wasn't the rock supposed to "fall"? It never worked, but it looks like it is made to look like it is falling, hence the "falling rocks" sign and the way it is stanced on the cliff.

But then Canyon Blast would be gone... and people actually like that one, or at least everyone I know who has been there likes it. I don't see why they couldn't have torn down some of the smaller kiddie rides that no one likes...

We were getting a tour of the park and the guide told us they're going to take it down because of water bills. I finally went on it. Unfortunately that first time was my last on the Rim Runner

Final time I went on Rim Runner was in 2008. Adventuredome should've kept the Rim Runner n gave it an upgrade. They could've traded the boats 4 logs, created a new water track traveling in n around the mountain n used the same drop. The Rim Runner Log Ride, now there's an idea nobody ever thought of.

I was terrified to ride this when I was younger but then my cousin convinced me to go on it and I sceeamed and cried during the tunnel parys but not the drops. He kept on trying to reach up and touch the bats hanging from the ceiling

Awww, I really want to ride this when I go in august, but it isn't there anymore :( This is a nice family ride. And I am even more disappointed because when I went to disneyland, splash mountain was closed for the day! Why did they remove this ride!!!!!!

This is very similar to Jurassic Park River Adventure that’s pretty cool
when the ride starts its the same entrance as the canion blaster

They should have never taken this ride down. Anytime they try to replace rides it just makes the theme park worse. I might be bias because I'd prefer they kept all the original stuff. I get they try to modernize it to bring in more revenue or keep it exciting, but the Adventure dome surely doesn't have the same feel as before.

Actually, there is a water ride in Blackpool that's indoors and it AMAZING. But most of the water rides are outdoors so if its usual crappy British weather where it's horrible and cold then you go on the water rides you end up freezing haha
I live in Las Vegas (the city this ride is in) and all the rides are, as you can see, inside a pink dome. Why? I don't know, but it's unique :3
The rides at the adventuredome are pretty fun, but they should get more rides. :P
The Adventuredome used to be a nice charming park, back when it was called "Grand Slam Canyon". Now is it a total $#!+hole. They should rename it the "Misadventuredome".

Well... what's wrong with it now? I don't see anything really wrong. Then again, I am a local so I go there quite often for a cheap price. (There is a local discount, plus since I live there I don't need to pay to travel or for a hotel or whatever.
They eliminated all the water features like waterfalls and water rides. They got rid of the animatronic dinosaurs. They've also removed much of the foliage once in the park and are no longer sticking to the original "canyon" theme. They new thrill rides they are stuffing in are eyesores. Its no longer a "themepark" but a crappy carnival under a glass dome.
Lil' Angry B!tch Oh, when I commented this I didn't know they took the water ride out, and I was too young at the time thst the dinosoars were there to remember. It's kind of sad now... It's not a shit waste like you described it to be, but it surely isn't the best park either.... In fact, after a while it is boring since there is only a few rides there, while the rest of them are those kiddie rides.
Siena H. I went the year it opened in 1993. It only had 4 rides but it was so lush, and nicely themed, like a tropical jungle garden inside a pink greenhouse with waterfalls & Dinosaurs. Now it's a $#!+hole. If you were there in '93 you'd think the same.

What they should do now is use the lift hill tunnel for another roller coaster. That would be the lift hill and it could be a mine train coaster going around the mountains inside the park. And the station would be from the lift hill to where there is a second bridge where frog hopper is

I frequented Adventure Dome a lot (I live in Vegas, and sometimes me and my mom would get a hotel room at Circus Circus and just spend the weekend there as like a fun little mini vacation) and I rode this ride a lot. I never noticed how stupid the warning sign in the beginning looks lmao. "SLIPPERY: When WeT" 😂

They should have kept this ride I always wanted to go on it. Also the dinosaurs I think they sacred kids maybe? I wish I was born so I can ride the water ride. Every time I go on Canyon Blaster I see the remains and a dead bird. I also see bones. And a bunch of stuff they didn't takedown. Also a lot of trash on the buildings Lol! But I wish they installed the water ride and get rid of El Loco. I don't like that ride that much. My cousins do I don't it feels weird when you go straight down.
El loco isn't isn't that bad, its more reliable than rim runner was. Also it has a vertical drop !nd it isn't bad. Its really fun, but still I prefer canyon blaster.
