- Known as The Grove, George Michael’s house is a semi-detached house in Highgate, London. The 16th-century property located in Goring-on-Thames is listed as Grade II property. George bought his property around 2001, and invited US TV personality, Oprah Winfrey for a tour in 2004. "This is a 16th-century house that I bought about three years ago and did up myself," he said, before explaining some of the period features. "Of course it's a really low ceiling because people were so short in those days. This is about as English and historical as you can get. We kept all the original beams. This fireplace is the original fireplace."

I didn't know that Kenny asked for anything because Georgie wasn't with him. The one that asked for the will was Fady and I think that didn't love George, he only wanted his fortune. I would like that he didn't receive anything.

It hurts knowing many very rich people throughout the world could be helping many of the poor around them in their own back yard and choose not to. Yes, some of us do love the person and not the money. Money can't buy happiness but love can certainly make a relationship great. If you look at some great relationships, there are many that have stemmed from before one person became famous. It may take a little longer to trust a person but you should know in your heart whether or not they are after money.

I loved George’s house. I loved that it was a comfortable house for him and it fits him perfectly. I love him and I always will. I miss him. He is my favorite singer in the world and I think about him a lot he was so beautiful inside and out
This area is not Highgate...the area is Oxfordshire where George's last home was where he lived towards the end. Outside of London.
He lived in both houses near the end. It depended on what he was doing. If he needed to be in London he would go to Highgate. If he wanted downtime he would more often than not head to a Goring-on-Thames.

She could have made this into a museum to honour her brothers memory but she put herself first. If only someone with the money could have purchased it as part of George's history. @@freddie7145 , Kenny Goss settled with the estate. He is to receive £15,000 a month from what I read, if I remember correctly. Not exactly a lot but still this reflects badly on Goss. Their relationship ended years ago and he should have had no claim on the estate.

Goring is a village. London is a city. Two complete polar opposites although The Grove is remarkably quiet and peaceful.
yes. That's the front of his Highgate London home in the thumbnail. The tour inside is from his Goring home in Oxfordshire, where he passed away. He's rumoured to own another London home in Regents Park area but the previous 2 are the ones he lived in.

This video is wrong, some of the details are about the house in Highgate London, and some about Goring, if as this video states is true, the house in Goring which he allegedly paid £6.7m for in 2001 and he renovated, then god knows what he must have done to it because it sold after his death for £1.6m. He stated in an interview he had lived there for 17 years, that is some price drop!!

@@ritakenny1116 the house in goring sold for £1.6m it is on the land registry site along with the date that it was sold. I am not aware that the one in highgate had been sold, they were renting that one out for £15,000 a week the last i heard about that, money going to his estate .

I wish more than anything I could go and see his home "Mill Cottage" and visit that beautiful little village in Goring there where he lived and adored especially during Christmas! I would love to stay in one of the near by inns/bed and breakfast, have my meals at least one per day in the local pubs and on Christmas Eve walk with the towns folk with candle in hand singing Christmas hymns and songs just as George did every Christmas when he was home. Not to put my business out there. But I was with my ex-partner for around that amount of time. Now I got lucky in the fact that I was put in. Paperwork that protected me when my partner passed away unexpectedly and his family did not like any of that, but there was nothing they could do because the paperwork was 16 years old and the paperwork was the law of the land. Having said that, I wonder why after 13 years. George did not want his ex to have anything. I mean, I guess that's his prerogative. Maybe they edit on negative terms or something.
