I adore Anime Ace! ♠️💚 I totally love their introduction episode, which is episode 14, “Attack of the Gangreen Gang” and I like their connection to Buttercup in the episode like the original 1998 series. Even the anime version of Buttercup doesn’t seem to have a crush on Ace. Honestly, *Powerpuff Girls Z* is a much better reboot than the horrible 2016 reboot! *PEROID* 😘😘😘
Fun fact: It’s shown in the credits that female Arturo was actually named Weevil. Being a bug-like creature buzzing around, it makes sense. I personally really like her, along with Ivy.
Wait wait wait wait what!? Anime Snake isn't a girl in the original japanese version of this anime!!!? I thought that the anime runners had just randomly decided to make him a girl, maybe in part because it is clearly imply that this version of Snake had a crush on Ace, so i thought, "they turn him into a girl to avoid the gay", but now you're telling me that he wasn't a girl the whole time!!!!? WHAT!? Here i was prepared to whine about my man suddenly being a girl but turns out he was never one!? I am SHOCK. Like, de dub versions def bended hell over backwards in order to avoid the gay, there is no surprise there. But now you're telling me that the og japanese version just went "hear me out, gay Snake"? Or or or, maybe I'm wrong or something, did the dub runners made Ivy have a crush on Ace just because?? Like, tell me if I'm being dumb but it's clear to me that Ivy/Anime Snake had a crush on Ace, like come on, it's too obvious! This means that i wasn't out of my mind when my teenager self started to ship Snace for some reason (don't judge me), the anime/dub runners saw it too! And people called me crazy! And i mean, it would still be telling if dub Snake/Ivy was a girl who had a crush on Ace, but the fact that he was a guy the whole time it's like the last and ultimate nail on the coffin. I repeat, they called me crazy! (And i repeat, don't judge me! Pls!). Leaving that aside, yeah, I'm not too happy with Snake's portrayal on this, ok, he's a guy, now i know, nice, i preferred it that way, but, his design and character concept is just, what? It's like they saw his original design and went, "well, he has a long nose, so there is that" and then proceeded to use that as the entirety of his looks. Hello? He's a Snake?? He doesn't have a separate nose, that's his body! But aight, you wanted him to have a straight up long nose, ok, but why doesn't he looked like, a Snake tho?? Like at all, not even a little, his serpentine and flexible body is now just a regular body, but shorter, so is no serpentine at all anymore, like why?? I understand that his looks ain't the easiest to translate into anime but i have legit seen fanarts that are more compelling than that. And then his ability (massages), it's like they just didn't know anything about the character at all or something, they had no idea what to do with him, why not give him elastic powers and that's it, you know, like in the og show?? He does look cute with that pirate costume tho, I'll give them that. Sorry for focusing so much on my boy and not talking about Ace yet, but, the thing is, there is nothing much to say about anime Ace. He's hot, like really hot, the more i look at him the hotter he gets, the voice acting doing nothing but exacerbate his attractiveness. At first i wasn't sure of what to think about Anime Ace's design, but after a quick analysis *chef kiss*. I'm actually not sure which design i prefer, Anime Ace or classic cartoon ace. Anime Ace def looks more detailed, but og Ace is just so iconic. Still, nothing beats Movie, wet hair Ace of course. My thirsty self is more than ready to keep on enjoying this already finished series of the cult of Ace, thank you for creating it btw.

The Gangreen Gang were utter failures of villains in their first episode of PPGZ. They weren't the most competent villains in the original show, but they weren't the easily conked-out goobers like they were here. Also, Ivy was a massive simp towards Ace.
