For Be Our Guest: Gaston would be cool to walk around. Maurice would be cool. Also, it would be very cool if they had interactive characters on a meal cart. Put Lumière, Mrs. Potts and Chip on a cart and allow them to go to guest tables. I’d lose my mind!
I think the thing they are missing is they are there all the time. A place like Chef Mickeys just starts your day off great. Sitting in the contemporary and seeing the monorails go by just makes it so awesome. Food is typical buffet breakfast and the main characters are there.
Yessss!! This is the pairing I never knew I needed lol. Pete and Deni are the perfect combination for dining reviews! The meal I had at Be Our Guest was terrible. $60 prix fixe for a poorly cooked steak that was chewy and tasteless. Also our order somehow "got lost" and took over an hour to arrive. They gave us Fastpasses to compensate. The only thing worth having there was the French onion soup, which you can get at lunch. Great environment but awful food. Also agree with Fiasco - how do you have a restaurant with the Beast's ballroom and not have Belle in her golden dress?
We had dinner in the Ballroom . It was not " magical "at all ! The noise level was so high , you could not understand the two other family members. You heard many children screaming or yelling. My dish was extremely fishy tasting . The beast doing a quick walk through twice was nothing. We had other meals on property we enjoyed very much.
We absolutely love Deni's perspective! On another note, we LOVE Ohana and think it's been worth it every time. We went with a group of 15 in November and our service was amazing.
Deni is amazing! I really love shows with her, she expresses her opinion so well. I could listen to her talk about Disney all day. DON'T LOSE HER AS AN ASSET! She is amazing! I also like how Pete and her interact. I believe every word you two say, feels very honest.
Fantastic episode! Spot on! Would love an episode where a TS restaurant is discussed and a QS alternative experience is given... or vice versa! Some dining experiences stand alone but others having comparable places on resort. Love to hear the DIS take on this idea!
Oh no! Sorry to hear that - we absolutely LOVED Ohana (dinner)....the food was amazing, but don't expect much re: the entertainment at dinner. We had the DDP but would've paid out of pocket - that and Tusker House.
I enjoyed the two of you together chatting. yes, Deni, exactly, we always use Shades of GReen for our hotel and go to Ohana's for our arrival night for their dinner.
Ohana used to be great-We’ve been probably 50 times. The last few years the service has gone downhill so bad. Went 4 weeks ago and that’s it. I’m done with this place. I had the server sit down after and I said one minute of your time. Asked him what the hell has happened to this place. He said the pressure they have in them now to get you in and out is almost unbearable. The food is nothing like it used to be. And I’m not picky man. I’ll eat almost anything. But at this cost-I’m done.
Animal Kingdom and Animal Kingdom Lodge are two places that I find numerous foods that I enjoy, O'hana has always been a family favorite for us, Be Our Guest was fine(we ate in the library both times), Crystal Palace we had a really fun time and a good character breakfast..... I would not return to Chef Mickey's (or Goofy's Kitchen at Disneyland) if it was free.... Deni thanks - I really enjoy listening to you !
Not enjoying the changes to Ohana's food. Their chicken and pork used to be marinated in something called the "white meat marinade" which they apparently stopped using and just grilled the chicken and pork. Not nearly as tasty as it used to be but thankfully I have the recipe from back in the day. Save your money and just order the things available at the outside bar and grab a Lupa Lupa drink
Same about Palo. Especially since I had watched a review with him and Steve at Palo on the (I believe) Dream and the review is glowing. It was a shock.
We did Ohana in September for our son who loves Stitch. It was a horrible experience! Everything was dirty and sticky. The server never came back to our table the whole meal so we never got drink refills. It seriously was the worst service I’d ever had in my life! The cast members with the characters were definitely trying to rush them but luckily stitch ignored her! I chased down two other servers and a manager and nothing was done but bring out another plate. No drinks and still no server. We weren’t even out of the restaurant before she grabbed the tip though. The food was better then the other breakfast meals we’d done that week but everything else made it horrible. A couple of nights before we had ate at Kona and had some of the most amazing steak (even got to talk to the chef who was awesome and cared about his food! The service wasn’t the best but wasn’t horrible) so kind of expected maybe Ohana wouldn’t be so bad, boy were we wrong!
I must say, I dined at Jiko for the first time last month and was thoroughly impressed, though I did have to send my filet back because it was overcooked (medium when I ordered it rare). The server, Rob, took great care of me, and even had me hold on to my sides while they made me a new steak, just so that I had something to eat.
I agree with your selections. There are several restaurants that offer so much more such as Sanaa, Garden Grill, Storybook dining. Love listening to Deni!
Very true. It gets you three of the fab five (also Daisy) so it gets you a great experience with the most popular characters. And the food is not only good for a character meal but it would still be among the best restaurants at WDW even without the characters. The shrimp curry is soooooooo good.
We were never rushed to Ohana's. It is our first dining reservation we make six months before we come to the parks. The food has no match anywhere in the park. It is truly one of a kind. Love you guys, but I can't imagine a vacation to Disney without a meal at Ohana's.
Watching this episode now. Ate at Ohana for the second time this week. It was great the first time we went in 2018 but will not be returning. Service wasn’t bad but food was mediocre (dry chicken, overcooked beef). Dinner was definitely rushed - res was at 4:30 and we walked out at 5:30.
O'hana, Chef Mickey's, and the Royal Table are absolutely the worst for the same reasons that you mentioned. My family and I don't like being rushed when paying such high prices. I'm glad you put 2 of them on your list.
I absolutely loved this show, please do more like it! Everything you said was spot on, and I wish other vloggers would have the guts to be as real. Be Our Guest was a HUGE let down. I was sooo excited for it to open. Beauty and the Beast has always been my favorite, and I don't feel that they've ever done as much as they should with it in the parks. The breakfast was a joke, especially for the prices. It was beyond loud and chaotic, and the dinner was just awful. I don't like steak or seafood, so I literally paid $65.00 for something that Whole Foods hot bar could do better. The building is nice, but the noise, cafeteria feel, horrible food, and chaotic environment is a nightmare. That's the reason why you can't just walk through and see the castle, because if that was an option no one would eat there. I wish they would turn it into a character experience/fun activity. I would rather pay for that without the food. Chef Mickeys is literally my nightmare. It is a horrible buffet that makes Golden Corral look gourmet, with as many tables shoved in a small area as humanly possible. There are unruly kids running around screaming and destroying the buffet, and the characters rush through as quick as possible. Sometimes it feels like they purposely wait for you to get up and go to the buffet to "pass by". You couldn't pay me to go back. Cinderella'a royal table is the epitome of a rip off. They definitely use the castle and a few princesses to straight gouge families for every dime they can get away with. Plus they are extremely rushed, and make the fact that they need to flip tables known from the second you walk in. They are all tourist traps.
Ohana is just so inconsistent. Went twice within six months. First time was outstanding, meat was prepared as ordered and not chewy, waiter was attentive and I didn't feel rush. 2 hour meal including a majestic sunset and one of the highlights of the trip. Went six months later sans kids (which hypothetically should mean less stress) and it felt like we were on a timer. As soon as we sat down, drink order was asked. By the time the drinks came five minutes later, the sides and the first round of meats had made there rounds. This really affected the ambiance. In addition, the steak was really chewy and chicken was dry. Restaurants do have off nights and I am aware of that but for $55 a person, it gives you pause to retry a restaurant with that wide of a variance.
We had the worst service at O'hana the last time we went. Our server thought it was appropriate to go on a 10 minute rant on why he is against abortion. He had mentioned his son was adopted and I told my my brother was adopted too and then he just went off. We just wanted to see Stitch and eat breakfast. It was extremely uncomfortable and we still look about at that like wtf was that.
BOG should be our favorite but it has been underwhelming each time. Our last visit was in the West Wing which we liked for the first 10 minutes. The Rose sequence was pretty the first time, but it just seems like it repeats too often and you're crowded in there. There wouldn't be room for a character to walk around because on top of space issues, you have everyone else in there coming in to see the Rose which I understand but it got very old and not relaxing at all.
We had lunch at Be Our Guest, what we thought was odd was that all 3 courses came at once. It meant that we rushed our starter so that the main course was still warm.
I so agree with Pete's rant about not changing the menu all the time. If you have dishes on the menu that are very rarely ordered, then by all means, replace them. But if a restaurant is known for signature dishes, leave those dishes alone. I'm going back to Grand Floridian Cafe on my next trip, not because I want to try new things and definitely not because of the atmosphere. I'm going to have the chicken and waffle. If that's not on the menu, there's no reason for me to eat there. Hell, I'm still irritated that they took the samosas off the buffet at Tusker House (and it's been over 5 years!).
Sadly, I agree that Ohana is now overrated. It was our family's favorite. But the food, specifically the dinner, has gone down hill. Some meats were undercooked, some overcooked, tough hard pieces of chicken that can't be chewed. Just upsetting. I currently would not recommend to anyone until changes are made.
I agree with Jiko. My wife and I went there because you say how good it is. When we went, we were very disappointed so I’m glad that you say it’s overrated now because I was really wondering 🤔
Liz Belem food was blah. Despite having reservations we waited quite a bit. Even the service to bring something back to the table was slow. Not to mention the dining room was underwhelming. Unless you get lucky And get a seat in the main room it’s really nothing great to see. For what they charge for the food served you should at least get a photo op with belle and the beast or Gaston. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again my chicken fingers from Electric Umbrella were better than my meal at BOG. That’s not good. Lol. I wish I could get beck that hour or so of Disney time. It’s my only vacation regret aside from forgetting to resort hop on our last day but kids used the pool so it worked out.
Kirsy Bear thank you for all the good info! Belle is my favorite princess but she is so hard to meet! I heard that Belle and the Beast do a dance together in the main ballroom, is this true? If not, it may not be worth me going 😞
@@LARKXHIN the key was a really delicious alpine-style cow cheese that the business ended up making by accident...the exact mix fluctuated but there was usually some variety of cheddar and gouda - they would bring home odds and ends so it depended on what we had!
My last experience with 'Ohana dinner was in November 2018. At the time, I thought the service was fine, but thought the meat was overcooked. My favorite parts of the meal were the salad, the pot stickers, and the desert. But that said, I can find similar items of similar (or better) quality at restaurants closer to home for far less money. That's just my opinion, of course.
Totally agree with you about be our guest, chef mickeys and ohana. We have frequented these restaurants multiple times with the exception of ohana. Ohana food was good and the views are incredible but that doesn’t justify the exorbitant price. I agree that be our guest should have more character interactions - the food still needs to improve. Chef mickeys is another meal that is good and the character interactions are great but the price is just not warranted. Demi and Pete are great together....can’t wait to see footage from the cruise!
Say it ain't so. Been to Jiko many times. One time (probably 2011), when my kids were young enough for the kids menu, they got chicken with mac 'n' cheese. They thought it was the best tasting kids meal ever. I tasted their food and agreed. So sad to hear this. But thanks, this was a very helpful show.
With your feeling on Palo I must immediately ask how important the intimacy of the setting is to you? I have found palo on the newer ships much more intimate. And that’s exactly what I’m looking for in those times. I’m not typically going there with friends for fun.
Ohana’s is currently overrated : in the past it has been an old favorite until this past December, waiters not friendly, very rushed and the steak was a very cheap quality meat.
Alan Denniston thats been years now.... but every. single. post. You’ll have people praising ohana nonstop and I’m like all 4 of my meals there the last 5 years have sucked
I would agree with the food at Chef Mickey’s. The characters, however was awesome. My son had on a Mickey shirt and Ears. When Donald came over he grabbed the ears and tossed them aside the put his hand on my sons chest to cover Mickey! It was so funny! My daughter got sick on sushi and ran to the bathroom Minnie saw her come back and returned to our table to see her.
I won't ever stay main tower at Contemporary again because of the Chef Mickey traffic. Garden Grill is much better. The camera should have zoomed in just a little bit on P's face when he talked about leave 3 things on the menu. That slight zoom in would have added a little more emphasis on his point.
Ohana- I've never had the dinner but won't go because of the rushing. I've done the breakfast and enjoyed it a lot. Stitch is my favorite character so that's a win win for me. Palo- Never done so not much to say about it. Chef Mickey's- I do and don't agree. I love it for nostalgia reasons, and it's a fun environment. It is a playground when you eat there though. Be Our Guest- It's overrated because it's overhyped. However, I absolutely loved my experience there and would go back (for dinner). Jiko- Never done it, but want to.
Went a couple weeks ago to Chef Mickey’s and we had good character interaction. We were on vacation and it was my mom’s birthday and she wasn’t going to the parks as much as we were. She wanted a character meal and we had to pick something NOT in a park.
Great show. Love the Wave as well, but when are they going to upgrade the decor?? It looks like the ‘70’s, needs a rehab... but don’t touch the menu. No rehab needed there!!
We were at Jiko last month. The filet was the best I've ever had and is back with the mac and cheese which had yellow cheese. (White cheese can have flavor.) It was insanely good, so was the wild boar appy. So, disagree on that call
We are looking forward to Topolinos character breakfast in July! Also, Be our Guest, we like the quick service! Thought it was good for a quick service lunch, breakfast way over priced!!
Brown Derby for us too but it was many yrs ago....Oh and the pizza place in Epcot we had a bad waiter also.He gave us two BURNT pizzas and gave us the rush out. Chicken Parm was extremely bland
We just ate at Jiko’s in February......we thought it was one of the best dishes we’ve had on Disney property....we had an appetizer, salad and entree. My mom had the filet and it was excellent. Best filet at Disney.
Our worst meal on our Disney trip was hands down Be Our Quest. We got to see inside of the castle so won't be on our list on future trips. The food was not worth going back.
I was worried when we went to Ohana late Apr. '19. Turned out to be great experience! Timing was just right, food was very good, server very friendly & competent. Grandson even got to do "coconut races", and dance around & sing. We didn't expect CA Grill dining, and thought price was about right for Disney (i.e. more than usual in "normal" world) Also a good pick (lots of choices) for low-carb dining.
Well, you just convinced me not to bother with Be Our Guest. I wanted to try it based on Craig and Jackie's review from when it went over to prix-fixe, but it doesn't seem worth it if it feels like catering food at a wedding.
Be our guest is a great quick service lunch or breakfast, it’s nice to look round but evening I found the food was nice but it’s not a great evening meal venue, it’s too noisy and big for my liking,
I used to always enjoy Cinderella’s Royal Table but the service last time we were there was very underwhelming, in fact it was pretty terrible. I used to book it every trip...probably gonna be skipping it for a while.
Pete, the bloviating about Jiko is just absurd. If the parks aren't museums, then the restaurants certainly aren't museums. If I'm going to a higher end restaurant, I expect the menu to change often and reflect fresh seasonal ingredients. You'd think a "dining" show would be able to have a little respect for chefs of that caliber having creative control over their kitchens and their menus. If you just want the same filet, the same mac and cheese, and the same red wine reduction, just hire a bunch of line cooks and call it a day.
Just ate a Ohanas last week which i always loved...it was awful, the shrimp was bad the steak was terrible and overcooked. and chicken was dry. Servers were fast only good thing was the noodles, dumplings and bread pudding! I did hear that the fire grill is now a gas grill which could explain it. We won’t be going back until o hear it changes
We love Chef Mickey's. I did just hear that they've improved the food at the 1900 Park Fare. That one and Crystal Palace I wasn't so happy with the last time. So now, I think 1900 Park Fare will go back on our list.
My husband I love to stay at the poly and we don’t like eating at Ohana we just order room service the wings, noodles with chicken and pot stickers and we are fine and it’s too much food we order for one that’s all :-)
I was at ohanas last year and will not return. Salad is meh, appetizers are like a local Chinese and there is so much food I could hardly eat the meats. Oh, it has a great view.
We get to book our ADR in 2 weeks, and everything we’ve watched from the DIS videos and DFB Guide say the same things over and over. Chef Mickey, Cinderella’s Royal Table and Be Our Guest are overrated and too expensive for what they offer. Whet we’ve decided to do is swap: Chef Mickey for Garden Grill CRT for Akurshus Butttttttt.....We are going to do Be Our Guest just to see the inside of the castle. We are going to do it for breakfast (yes I know), but it’s the cheaper option for our DDP (1 table credit), and if we can book early enough, can get into MK earlier than normal.
Be Our Guest is only a QS credit for breakfast! (We just had our 180 day date this past week and also got a pre-park opening 8:05am at BOG. No way would I pay that out of pocket for a sub-par breakfast, BUT using a QS credit (with free dining too, woo hoo!) seems worth it to see inside and to get in a bit early. Originally I booked it for 10:30am and managed to modify it back to 8:05am after a few days of trying.
Amanda Perez Even better! That’s exactly our hope. We are from the UK, so with the time difference, I’m sure the kids will be up early hours on the first day (MK Day), so hopefully an early door breakfast at BOG is possible and then off to one of the more busier attractions that we didn’t get a FassPass for (Peter Pan, Snow White etc).
Good for you going with Akershus! We had a *great* brkfst there, lots of low-carb choices on buffet (we happen to like pickled & smoked fish + good "stinky" cheeses). Excellent Princess interactions. Much lower cost than CRT. Book this one earlier morning too, to get into Epcot early -- time it right & you won't need a FP+ for Frozen either!
Deb Steinshouer Yep, looking forward to Akershus. After hearing how expensive CRT is and how it can feel rushed, Akershus was the better option for us. Food looks better, it feels a little more relaxed and my Daughter still gets to see all the princesses. Win Win. Good point about Frozen, but we are going to do that when we do the Frozen Dessert Party which included the ride at the end of the night (plus is will be my partner and I’s wedding night, so it should be pretty magical).
Pete and Deni are the perfect team for these shows. Deni is so smart and articulate, I could listen to her talk about food for hours!
Shawn Hazel and Pete isn’t afraid to Drop the elbow from the top rope if they need to be thumped on the head.
Pete also LETS DENI TALK 😂. Like seriously, the other ones just interrupt all the time.
Pete and Deni are OUTSTANDING! Please continue to do these dining reviews together. I concur, Ohana was UNDERWHELMING! 🥱
For Be Our Guest: Gaston would be cool to walk around. Maurice would be cool. Also, it would be very cool if they had interactive characters on a meal cart. Put Lumière, Mrs. Potts and Chip on a cart and allow them to go to guest tables. I’d lose my mind!
I 😍 that idea. I would lose my mind too. Disney, get on it.
That would be so cool.
I love this idea! I have said for a while I wish they would make it into a true character meal. They could add Belle and Gaston easily.
I think Belle, Beast, Gaston, and LeFou would make for a sufficient character meal
I think the thing they are missing is they are there all the time. A place like Chef Mickeys just starts your day off great. Sitting in the contemporary and seeing the monorails go by just makes it so awesome. Food is typical buffet breakfast and the main characters are there.

Deni and Pete talking about food is the best. Both so knowledgeable.
Planning our June/July trip now and just cancelled Ohana based on this
Oh no! Sorry to hear that - we absolutely LOVED Ohana (dinner)....the food was amazing, but don't expect much re: the entertainment at dinner. We had the DDP but would've paid out of pocket - that and Tusker House.
We have a June trip planned too. Considering a cancellation based on this.
Stephen Gonzales with so many options out there at WDW, I just want to go where I’ll get a good meal and good service
@@christyr_travelqueen We love the Beirgarten in Epcot book during the show
Be our guest is SO overrated. I yelled yes when you said it’s like a cafeteria. That’s exactly how I felt. We went once and haven’t gone back.
Laura Laws That's what I thought it was like also! It's the loudest restaurant in Disney World we ate at.
I enjoyed the two of you together chatting. yes, Deni, exactly, we always use Shades of GReen for our hotel and go to Ohana's for our arrival night for their dinner.
More Pete and Deni, please! I never knew that they would be so good at reviewing together but they are!!
Our past two trips, we have done our no park arrival day at Sanaa. It’s lovely Disney Magic and exceptional food. But don’t tell everybody 😉.
Totally agree about Garden Grill and Tusker House - both great for food and characters.
Great show. Thanks for all of the alternative suggestions.
Deni makes me happy. She's such a great add to the team.
Yes, go to Tusker House for delicious flavors and excellent character interaction! Thorough dining reviews- thank you Pete , Deni and Fiasco!

good to know
It’s crazy, I’ve been to Jiko 3 times now and everything has been excellent. Definitely my top 5 must go.
I juuust watched the older version of this video yesterday when Charles was still on the show - nice.
LARKXHIN I miss Charles 🥺
Charles was the best

Restaurants do have off nights and I am aware of that but for $55 a person, it gives you pause to retry a restaurant with that wide of a variance.
i would L-O-V-E to see Deni and Charles paired for a Disney World Channel. Different personalities, but compliment each other impecibly well.
Oh my god, that is definitely not okay! I hope you told someone higher up about that experience.
hmmwatkins how awful and mortifying! Talk about being a wet blanket
Chef Mickeys for breakfast!! Characters still interacting well. Every time we go it’s special, no rushing, plenty of choice to eat.
I do love Be Our Guest.....but could you imagine a Character Dinning experience there.......I would just love it even more
BOG should be our favorite but it has been underwhelming each time.
Great show! Love the DIS.
Be Our Guest was hands down the most disappointing part of our Disney trip.
I would never go there again as it is.
Kirsy Bear oh no! Please tell me why, I just made reservations for my future trip. Thanks!
Liz Belem keep your resv just to experience the setting once. It’s pretty cool. Food is quick service meh. But you should still go.
JWPrimetime thank you!
I love Ohana breakfast. Like the family style and it’s cute as pie.
You can’t get flavour with white cheeses? What? Orange cheddar is just white cheddar with colour added.
right? my partner used to work for an artisan cheesemaker. no "yellow" cheeses, but we could make the most delicious mac'n'cheese ever!
Yeah, it sounds like someone's taking a hissy fit cuz he couldn't get it his way.
Teukie Wallaroo what cheeses did he use?
I agree with Ohana 100% our server wasn’t bad, but she did rush us in and out. To me that really hurt the experience there!
Beast’s costume may not be mobile enough to walk between tables and interact with people
Totally agree with you about be our guest, chef mickeys and ohana.
Deni is the best! Sh's all you need :)
Love Deni! She's so well spoken.
She is an amazing addition to the show!
I'm a Deni fan too! She always delivers a good mix of handy info and humor
I think I agree with all of these. I never been on a Disney Cruise but the others are right on. Thanks for sharing.
major Andrew McCarthy in Weekend at Bernies vibes from Corey today. I dig it.
Haven't even listened through yet but for us "Be Our Guest". Not the food, not the atmosphere, we were truly disappointed.
I won't ever stay main tower at Contemporary again because of the Chef Mickey traffic. Garden Grill is much better. The camera should have zoomed in just a little bit on P's face when he talked about leave 3 things on the menu. That slight zoom in would have added a little more emphasis on his point.
I miss the original Chef Mickey's. It was a table service venue located where Rainforest Cafe is now at Disney Springs.
The "Beast" costume is very difficult to navigate between tables ...there could be accidents.
We love The Wave!!! Tim is such an amazing server there.
Went a couple weeks ago to Chef Mickey’s and we had good character interaction. We were on vacation and it was my mom’s birthday and she wasn’t going to the parks as much as we were. She wanted a character meal and we had to pick something NOT in a park.
'ohana redeemed itself two weeks ago for us. We only went because my sister wanted to but it actually was good and paced well
Great show. Love the Wave as well, but when are they going to upgrade the decor?? It looks like the ‘70’s, needs a rehab... but don’t touch the menu. No rehab needed there!!
I’m going to Be Our Guest restaurant for lunch because it’s less pricey and I’ll be in the castle. Is the lunch any good?
We were at Jiko last month. The filet was the best I've ever had and is back with the mac and cheese which had yellow cheese. (White cheese can have flavor.) It was insanely good, so was the wild boar appy. So, disagree on that call
We are looking forward to Topolinos character breakfast in July! Also, Be our Guest, we like the quick service! Thought it was good for a quick service lunch, breakfast way over priced!!
Worst server I EVER had was at Coral Reef followed by Brown Derby.
Cinderella's is excellent. I ate there in January, and each course was delicious. Great French beer too.
I love Ohana for breakfast!
I love Pete's shirt.
Sunshine Rivero i love what’s in the shirt!💙
Well, you just convinced me not to bother with Be Our Guest. I wanted to try it based on Craig and Jackie's review from when it went over to prix-fixe, but it doesn't seem worth it if it feels like catering food at a wedding.
I would also agree that it isn't worth it. Servers are rushed, kids yelling and crying , food not outstanding ., extremely crowded in the ballroom .
@@franklinmimi and LOUD
Be our guest is a great quick service lunch or breakfast, it’s nice to look round but evening I found the food was nice but it’s not a great evening meal venue, it’s too noisy and big for my liking,
I used to always enjoy Cinderella’s Royal Table but the service last time we were there was very underwhelming, in fact it was pretty terrible. I used to book it every trip...probably gonna be skipping it for a while.
I agree about chef Mickey’s the character interaction was rushed
Pete, the bloviating about Jiko is just absurd. If the parks aren't museums, then the restaurants certainly aren't museums. If I'm going to a higher end restaurant, I expect the menu to change often and reflect fresh seasonal ingredients. You'd think a "dining" show would be able to have a little respect for chefs of that caliber having creative control over their kitchens and their menus. If you just want the same filet, the same mac and cheese, and the same red wine reduction, just hire a bunch of line cooks and call it a day.
I just returned from Disney World, and the only bad meal we had there was at Be Our Guest restaurant. We liked the Plaza restaurant better!
You hype the hell out of Jiko for a year and then all of a sudden it’s overrated. You over rated it.
Jason Bover restaurants can change, Jason. Calm down
@@adamthesportsfan2346 For real
My husband I love to stay at the poly and we don’t like eating at Ohana we just order room service the wings, noodles with chicken and pot stickers and we are fine and it’s too much food we order for one that’s all :-)
I agree with everything that Pete has said.
I have to agree. Took a Disney Cruise in December on the Dream. Palo was underwhelming. So over hyped
I was at ohanas last year and will not return. Salad is meh, appetizers are like a local Chinese and there is so much food I could hardly eat the meats. Oh, it has a great view.
Do new under rated restaurants show!
I guess Jiko is off my list... I don’t think my family will let Be our Guest off though!
Whoa...Fiasco doesn’t have a hat on! Cool!
Antoine Busby he looks great san hat
Love this show
I've obviously missed something. I thought Corey was moving west. Is he no longer going?
We get to book our ADR in 2 weeks, and everything we’ve watched from the DIS videos and DFB Guide say the same things over and over. Chef Mickey, Cinderella’s Royal Table and Be Our Guest are overrated and too expensive for what they offer.
Whet we’ve decided to do is swap:
Chef Mickey for Garden Grill
CRT for Akurshus
Butttttttt.....We are going to do Be Our Guest just to see the inside of the castle.
@@freemonk3
Omg, are you getting MARRIED at Disney also?! Wishing you, partner & family all the best -- happy honeymoon! ;)
