I no longer recommend buying Meepo boards, and I'm not linking to them on my channel. If you would like to know why, you can watch my review of all of the issues I've had here: ruclips.net/video/qXOF2Iiwskg/видео.htmlsi=K06kUWIoZbxIQC72
Meepo is selling the refurbished version of this for about $219 shipped. I'm looking for something to get me to the train for work, just a short distance. This may do the trick
Am looking at an upgrade from my v3 ER, I’ve heard the v4s feels faster than the v5? Very strange that the v5 isn’t quicker… would you recommend the v4s or the v5? Is the v4s actually faster or does it just feel more snappy? Bit like the v3 feels more responsive and snappy than the NLS pro..
Hey Dylan. I have a V4S as well. I don’t think it’s actually faster than the V5. But when you ride on speed mode 4, I think the V4S pulls away much more aggressively. So it feels like it’s faster, and a bit more jerky. I’d say the V5 feels more relaxed, and smoother. But I wouldn’t say it’s necessarily slower… I hope that makes sense.
Nice. Those Backfires look pretty 🔥🔥these days too! I’d love to try one some time. I’ve had some issues with my Meepos over the past year. (I’ve a video about it all coming) But at the moment, I actually wouldn’t recommend a Meepo board.
@Sly253 yeah I get that. Especially if you haven’t tried one before, you don’t want to spend big money in case you’re not that interested. If they’re similar prices, I think try Backfire.
Nice! The most I’ve got it up to so far is about 35km/h. I feel like it can do more, but I haven’t done a proper speed test… yet 😏😏 I hope that helps. Depending on your weight, and riding style, the board’s max speed and range will vary a bit.

@@ronanhutchinson I hope they send you out their new belt drive NLS 3, the one with green wheels, looks really interestin given it has a different esc, hobbywing, hopefully works out this time
@@rollie3333 there are. Meepo have a 105mm cloud wheel / hub. It’s kinda off-road, and I have them on my V4S. I wouldn’t be totally confident on them going off road. They’ll also severely reduce battery life. So if you’re considering them, I’m 1000% recommend the ER range version of the board.

thank you this helped my decision in which one to get. I am now a happy owner of the v5 Thanks again😁
Amazing! I’m glad my review helped. Thanks for watching! And enjoy the V5. You’re gonna love it!

That’s a great price for a board like this. What’s the warranty like on those refurbed boards though?

@@ronanhutchinson yeah I bought an electric scooter years back and the on button got smashed in and it totally stopped working.
Idk the backfire g2 is looking nicer than this meepo I just don't wanna spend a grand on a board 😂 and they seem like the same price $400 ish

@@ronanhutchinsonIn the case you already have one on the way is there any particular things i should be aware of?
What was ur top speed? I'm torn between this and the isinwheel board with the swappable batteries. I want a fast board

You can put donuts 105 on a v5?
As far as I know the 105 donuts from the v4s are compatible with the hubs on the V5. I believe it’s a very quick job to put them on.
Probably but your range will probably get cut in half
@user-fi6hg8vq6c yeah, 100% make sure you have an XR battery if you’re gonna do it. Otherwise you’ll have really low range

@eBoard3R I would LOVE if @MeepoElectricSkateboard sent me the new NLS 3 to review! It looks like a fantastic board. ⚡🛹⚡
Is there any ruff off road wheels for this
