Got this board yesterday.....3 miles into the ride the rear right wheel rubber(tire) sheered right off at 20 mph...my trust is broken, it's going back. It couldve been really ugly.
My wowgo broke down a couple of weeks ago, and have been looking into getting a new board. Thought about grabbing a meepo, but the mini 3s honestly seems to be way ahead of V5, for almost the same price
Thanks for a good and honest review! One of local RUclipsrs put his V5 on FB market. Never thought about getting myself an e-board but could not resist a price of $199 Canadian. Like it so far!
@@SimonSaysCanada lol indeed, give it throttle and hope for the best especialy with 90 pu wheels... Next summer i'll probably upgrade to a new board with pneumatic wheels so i will not have to worry no more

@@mndstelevatei took it out luckily to test it before using it for my commute to work. Found out it came with a defected battery so it would only run with the charger connected to it I had to wait a little while to get a new one 15 days. Had the new battery for a bit and then the same problem started to happen. Recently got another battery and it did not work it got me all the way to the bus stop before stopping even thought it said it was fully. Ride wise I really enjoyed it. I think this time when the battery stopped working on the bus, is my fault because I live in Florida and got caught in the rain not sure if it’s under warranty. All in all it’s a nice board but not worth the headache. Plus if you live in a place where you can’t be sure of the weather you may be better off getting a electric bike or scooter something you know won’t break due to rains.
@@SimonSaysCanadaI wish I could say well. The first time I road it I didn’t because it came with a bad battery. Once I got a new one sadly that one also broke on me. I think it was because I got caught in the rain. Also there is a weird sound in the back left wheel sort of soon after riding it. All in all I like it I just can’t say it was worth it since I don’t actually get to ride it and currently unable to.
Debating my first board.. ive been skating since the 80s and love log boards.
Good review , thanks
Enjoyed the video…..well done and funny. Thanks!

I agree with you!! I must have dated RUclips’s algorithm’s sister for it to hate me so much…

How, though? Urethane wheels don’t shred like rubber.
@@SimonSaysCanada it was the rear drive wheel that the thin rubber flew right off exposing just the metal wheel.
Screws were loose on it?
@@SimonSaysCanada maybe, I’ll take a look.
Sounds like this is the Meepo Meh-poo?
More likr a Allright-po 😎
Allright, allright... Full credit to you - this pun makes for a much better Thumbnail :D Thank you!
@@SimonSaysCanada It's a pleasure! Thumbnail definitely looks much better now!

In terms of specs, definately! It has more torque and power than the V5, which is more of a “last mile” form factor rather than a cruiser
Thanks for a good and honest review!

🔥🔥review as usual!!
Thanks man!
What backfire board did your buddy have? I’m currently looking for longboard that has a lot of range
The Blackfire G3 - but the Meepo Envy has it beat by about 5 miles, even with our 70lbs weight difference (I’m the heavier class)
🔥🔥
Maximum effort!
I have the extended range it has a way better controller with a screen
Gotta have a damn screen!!
Wrist guards 😐🤓
Hell yeah. Gotta keep the wrists working for all the kimuras I gotta submit fools with!
Quebec!! I ride there very often with my v3s! 🤟
How do you deal with the craters and canyons in the asphalt? I find that closing your eyes and thinking happy thoughts mostly gets you by 😊

Oh, you’ll still have to worry 😝 Some potholes swallow my Onewheel XR!

Wait… Are you a script running on a Estonian server that posts this comment on all Electric Skateboard videos?

@eBoard3R Glad to hear it!! One less (potential) bot to lose sleep over!
Hey I just ordered my v5 a few days ago I hope I’m not gonna find out I should regret it 😭 1:04
I think its a good board, don’t worry! Alex’s board is twice the price, so OF COURSE he beats me… T’ill I take my revenge!
It’s a fine board! Let me know how it treats you!
How is it?

You can apparently upgrade to the M5S remote with digital display?
Yeah, looked i to it, but Meepo sent me something a little more exiting instead 😎 Stay tuned in about 3 weeks!
