FYI - Be aware the included 3mm allen wrench on their T-tool does not fit any of the bolts. BYO-3mm. Might as well check for any loose bolts too. They also sell this V5 refurbished for $280 usd
Lmao my battery just died one day and I split my hand open so they sent me a new battery. I took my tool out and had a meltdown bc I need an Allen wrench and went crazy looking for one, you can imagine the laugh I let out when I saw the Allen wrench in the t tool
im so satisfied with my V5. if you are looking for something to commute around, it does the job perfectly. Even in high slopes too. The motor is strong enough and the acceleration does its job perfectly. But the battery's actual performace is more of 8-9 miles than the advertised 11. Other than this, every thing is good!
Nice review man, I’m looking for a board for commuting to work. But I can’t decide between the Meepo V5 and Blitzart. Ive seen reviews of both, good and bad. The meepo seems more reliable than the blitzart in terms of materials. But the Bliztart would safe me a decent amount of money. What do you think / recommend for me?
I’m looking for something that is made from good durable materials, preferably a long board, but I also don’t want it to be over $500 cuz I don’t have that budget. Maybe it’s too much to ask for a cheaper board that isn’t made from cheap materials since it goes against the whole “you get what you pay for.” Rule, I’d say I’d be using the board for 3 days a week on average from what my routines look like. I’m very glad you replied btw, thank you. 🙏🏻 @@DIYesk8Builders
A solid board that is around that price (a little more) is the beast board: beastboard.net/products/beastboard-viper Pretty good specs for the price from my experience. Another decent board is the wow 3E (we have tested but the review video is not out yet) wowgoboard.com/products/wowgo-3e I recommend these boards because they are belt drives, which I (personally) prefer far more to hub motor boards
Awesome video! The amount of detail is great. Could you possibly do a review of the Wowgo 3e? If not, what is your opinion on it as a 450$ belt driven board?
OKAY BUT WHAT HAPPENED TO THE ORIGINAL VERSION THAT DIDN'T HAVE A GRIP Mine got stolen and I tried looking on the site and it doesn't exist anywhere anymore and nobody's selling it and nobody's talking about it
I'm a little skeptical, buying this because of the no screen remote but the v3 had it that's why I liked on the v3 because of that feature might get the v4 shuffle instead of the v5 because of this reason because I know the v4 shuffle comes with a built-in screen remote and offload tires for crappy roads
Hello! I'm looking for an eskateboard for commuting at college. I've decided between the Meepo V5 or the Caroma Eskateboard you reviewed in 2021. Amazon has the Caroma at $280 and the Meepo V5 at $370. Which one would you recommend? I'm fine with the 18MPh of the Caroma, so speed isn't something I care about.
Also, I'd preferrably want my board to last long, and am fine with replacing the battery. Are either of these boards able to be taken apart and slap in a new battery?
Awesome review!

it doesn’t fit the hub motor wheels from what i noticed but it fits the bolts on the deck

Solid board for the cost for sure!
Amazing review! I wish you had one like this but regardin Meepo Mini 5

Thanks! The 3E is actually one of the next boards that we will be reviewing!
@@DIYesk8Builders Very excited for it! i ordered mine and it should ship by early january, but there’s no in depth reviews on the 3e.
Awesome! We are working on it now
nice review bro! You doing any giveaways soon?
Thanks! Sadly not
What about Veymax roadster x4? Could you please make a review on that? Or a comparison video?
Soon potentially

Better than the V3S?
I have not tried that board out yet, so I am not sure

Meepo is probably the better quality tbh.
或许可以考虑veymax cejour,我在meepo v5比较之后选择了veymax cejour,时尚的尾灯让我惊喜。

I swear I saw this review already
brand new!
That looks like a very flat deck, my V3 has a much nicer concave.. hows the flex compare?
I have no tried the V3 so I am not sure. Flex is decent, but nothing crazy. It is a very flat deck though.
