Just started playing Kingmaker, and I was struggling to start a dwarf fighter, even though stats my go to choice in RPGs (eg. LOTRO). So many options for feats. Thanks for the great advice, I realized I just gotta stick to what I find fun and not worry about the meta and min-max trends. I really liked you went over the feats and how they pair well with other feats and in general what builds benefit from them.
Hey happy to help! Another player playing for fun is all I can ask for 👍 if you're gonna be fighter definitely look into Prestige classes ro see if any seem worth going into! Just to mix it up a bit.
Thank you that means a lot to hear! I used to be discouraged but I know now that all I can do is make content I enjoy and hope others enjoy it as well 👍
I really like that you say you play for fun. I don't enjoy min/Max myself, and like to "role play", I guess. Too few channels build characters for just enjoying the game.
100% agreed. So many do all these optimized build guides and whatnot. I am planning on a series of "fun to play builds" for Wrath of the Righteous but some could possibly work for Kingmaker as well
Guy, I just found out about your channel "accidentally" and guess what?! I'm enjoying your content, it's great quality here, I believe if you maintain consistently uploading you gonna grow really well... Greetings from Brazil!
Hey thank you! I'm glad you're enjoying it. I'm definitely uploading as consistently as I can! This will eventually lead us to Wrath of the Righteous as well when it comes out in September 👍
@@unsungnpc8918 Pathfinder WotR is definitely the game of the year for me (just guessing of course)... I'm trying the BETA and it's fantastic... Improving from KG and when mods are out gonna be superb!
@@ThiagoGraunke Yeah I am so hyped. I've watched a lot and played the alpha but I've been waiting on diving deep until I play for my channel so that I can record my reactions. I'm probably gonna try streaming it on YT on release day.
Personally I like building my strength with a couple of levels in a casting class (probs vivi) for shield and personal enlarge or using the unique bastard sword that a certain barbarian has since that lets you cast some spells for *lore reasons*
Yeah the difference there is that uess it's for prestige class requirements, I don't do dipping. I feel like it just is never worth high level powers or doesn't work RP wise. It's definitely a vid strat but seems like more of a min/max type of thing where you're trying to optimize which I just don't do.
@@unsungnpc8918 the dipnis only if I dont use the enemy of all enemies since I like being able to cast spells self wise cause its simpler I could just use jubjub for that though rp wise
The real issue with Kingmaker is that there is way too long text to explain simple stat mechanics. Game is doing a real bad job for beginners to simplify the basic stats that are relevant to each class. I know the game is built around a table-top version where ppl can do the most stupid things ever with their friends. But this game is mostly played solo and needs to do much better for newcomers.
It can definitely get really complex. Especially with terms no one has heard of that aren't even explained at all. Even in the 2nd game, you can't hover over BAB os Saving Throw and have it explained to you.

Hey thanks for these videos. I play D&D games but not pathfinder. I kinda know how things work but this makes me understand things better.
I love your content my guy. Don't be discouraged by the lack of views, you can make it.

Nice video dude, as someone who's new with this type of levelling + feats system, this is super helpful!
Glad this was helpful for you man! If you ever have questions about the game feel free to ask!
I would be greatful, if someone did more guides on gear for classes. Weapons, armor, accessories, etc.
Earned a new sub btw
Oh that sounds like a great video idea! Thanks for the sub! I'll add the idea to the list.

Lol what does that even mean? Perfect how?
Just listened to it and it's like I don't have chronic allergies anymore wtf. You were right.
