I ordered mine last autumn and I love it. Even my nieces love my keyboard. They love to play with it when they come over. I’m sort of teaching them how to play. Hi, Matt! Thanks for your interest. Either one of these instruments would be a great choice for playing at home. There is a difference between the two keyboards. For starters, the CT-X3000 doesn't have a modulation button that the CT-X5000 has. The CT-X3000 runs on batteries while the CT-X5000 doesn't because of its powerful 30 watt speaker. The CT-X3000 has a category button, but it's located on the bottom of the LCD screen in which you have to tap to get to the instrument category you want, while the CT-X5000 has each category on the left corner of the keyboard with its own dedicated button for quick and easy access.

joe cruz imagine not liking a simple instrument because of a brand name. did not expect a pianoist to hate a brand, seems pretty childish don’t you think.
