Nice! In 1.21 mojang added a new field to prevent structures from spawning too close to the world bottom or world height since trial chambers were generating past the bedrock floor. So you can probably update it to have no void structures without the mod!

I completely understand the frustration with structures floating over of under floating islands however to me mineshafts can get a pass (though could prolly be treated a little) just because mineshafts hanging under an island is very aesthetic
Oh yeah actually my no void structures mod improves that. It only gets rid of mineshafts that are hanging from islands AND makes them a lot more likely to hang from islands :D
Is there any way to get floating islands to generate above the overworld? I want to set up a datapack that creates floating islands above the world’s oceans, while leaving the rest of the worldgen alone. Basically Tears of the Kingdom.

This should only be for jigsaw structures though right? So like that means most structures still cause issues.

Absolutely far better than regular gameplay, pairs fantastically with "forgiving void"
