Hey Morten, my name is Wiktor I am 16 years old I have been photographing nature since 2012 and I got my first camera at the age of 14. I am from Poland so I am really happy that you came to my homeland because you are a great inspiration for me I hope you liked both nature and people & cuisine Btw in Poland we call bison in America we call bison and in Poland we call it "żubr"
Nice to see a young man go into nature to make photographs. And, yes, "bison" is an old European word. From Latin/French descent. The Europeans who went to America and saw a bovine looking like the one from Europe, gave it their old European name. In some Northern European languages/countries, the European bison is called wisent. You can easily see the relation between these two words.
Pozdrawiam z Polski !! wow od dawna Cię oglądam i cieszę się, że tu jesteś :) Greetings from Poland !! wow I've been watching you for a long time and I'm glad you're here :)
Only just found this, those Birch trees are beautiful, an understatement really and the gorgeous music. What a lovely video. I want to go right back to the beginning.
Simply the only photographer I follow and watch. You are inspiring and the quality content that you put up is incredible. You kinda take us with you on the journey every single time. I'm an amateur photographer but watching your videos makes you feel that you can accomplish many things whether pro or for fun. Thank you for all the amazing work and keep shooting 🙏
I instinctively held my breath while you guys sneaked through the woods and tried to be as quiet as possible. That’s how thrilling your videos are for me. 😅 love your content mate, you’re by far my most favourite wildlife photographer and I try to learn as much as I can through you. 😊🙏🏼
Thanks again Morten for taking us along on your journey. Poland looks like a beautiful country. You make me feel like I am right along side of you with my camera in my hands. Thanks to Simon also! Looking forward to part 2....
Great footage yet again Morten, you make me feel like I am there with you. Keep up the great footage and images, and may you and Simon have good light always.
Fantastic, love these and some great unique images.. also loved "time to get some cold beer and coffee" - that is EXACTLY what I always look forward to as well. Stay safe in these challenging times.
The bison were amazing, they are powerful and calm at the same time and yes, it is really something how quiet such large animals can be. Here in northern Ontario the black bear and moose may have taken stealth lessons! I especially liked the photos of the birch, they stand like sentinels of the forest.
I must say that every video your uploading is getting better and better I’m so zoned in on all your videos and how there captured, STUNNING PHOTOS!!! Can’t wait for the summer for the lovely warm early walks to capture the beauty of nature.
Really enjoy your video. Listening the amazing sound from the nature and Staring at the beautiful wildlife should be the best thing in the world! thank you
What an amazing video... just loved it... The buffalo is one of my favorite animals and had a small herd when living in Texas. Now living in Ukraine and didn't know there are buffaloes here! Such great news! Thanks for being such a great inspiration! I am about to buy my first large prime lens! )))
I like many others find your videos amazing to watch. If you get a photo its great but even if you don't the pursuit and the passion are inspiring. I saw another comment where someone else was not breathing while you stalked the Bison, I realized after a minute or so I had a mouth full of food and wasn't chewing so I didn't spook the animal. Thats how you draw people in to your adventures, excellent work.
Morten I love your videos!!! So relaxing, and enjoyable!!! You could be taking photos of rats and it would still be amazing!!! Lol fantastic shots of the biason, and awesome drone views!!! I can't wait to see your next adventure!!!!!!!
Hi Morten, great to see you visited Poland and Białowieża. I hope you enjoyed your stay. We are very proud here of our bisons (or "żubr" as we call them). 100 years ago, after World War I, they were at the brink of extinction, as there was only 50 of them left in the whole world, but polish project of rebuilding european bison population in Białowieża was very successful, and their number is more than 5000 currently (being redistributed back to other countries, too)
Love it Morten, thank you for showing me that I don't have to fly to get some nice photos... though sometimes it's faster to get to Africa than to drive to East part of Poland :D
Finally got some time to watch this :) Seems you had an amazing trip with your friend Simon and what a beautiful place. Really love the pictures of the bison in the sunset. 😀 Now I can only think about the bison tiptoeing around in the forest 😂
What a beautiful video Morten, and from a country where I'm not so familiar with the nature. It was great to see the magnificent beasts in their native environment. Just what I needed to watch today, currently stuck at home. Take care, and stay healthy!
What a beautiful country! The Birch trees are so amazing with the moon as a back drop! I absolutely love these pictures you shared. The colors and silhouettes of the Bison are so beautiful! Thank you again, and God Bless!!! :)
Lol, see, I remember Simon from you doing your Camera equipment video- and trying to finish before Simon walked in! But- then he made a cameo of course. 😉 LOVE Bison- we have great American Bison here in Kansas. Fantastic video, as always, though! You always get me with the music and photo combination at the end of your videos. If you ever make it out to the states, give me a PM, Kansas City BBQ and Beer on me! Then we can run around the Midwest- or even head to Yellowstone. 😉
Thank you for sharing your adventures in nature photographing the beautiful animals our lands have been blessed with. I know the feeling you get when you come in contact with an animal and you able to get some fantastic shots, it's a high like no other. Keep focusing, a saying us photographers can use to inspire more awesome photography!.
Fantastic bison shots. The bison eating hay in front of the birches is just cool, and the first shot of the bison is really really good. Love that shot. Still I am surprised to see those drone footage because as spectacular and vital as they are in terms of storytelling, it is mind boggling to see that you can actually fly a drone there. Here in California, it's illegal to fly a drone in National Forests (Inyo NF, for instance) or National Parks (Yosemite NP and Kings Canyon and Sequoia NP) that manage most of the Sierra Nevada mountain range. Anyway, this video seemed a bit rushed (or maybe I just wanted to watch more... LOL), but I am sure that you had a great time photographing the bisons, which are admittedly fantastic.
it's just so good to see these wonderful animals in their environment, while we're stuck at home because of the pandemic fear... it's just like breathing. Thank you very much! The muskoxen from the calendar (March) from my wall greet their cousins in Bialowieza!
Poland is very beautiful country, definitely worth to see

Btw in Poland we call bison in America we call bison and in Poland we call it "żubr"
Bison is the English word for it. Not only used in America.
@@MDCCLXXVI1990 now I know it

In America we commonly refer to bison as buffalo and use both words interchangeably. I did not know Poland had Bison.
Awesome to hear. I REALLY LOVE being in Poland and I'm already looking forward to coming back. I wish you all the best luck and awesome light 👍👍
And again great video! Greetings from Katowice Poland 🇵🇱

Thank you so much Lorenz👍👍👍
Very nicely done, Thank you for letting us come along for your trip to Bialowieza forest, this is a very cool place.
Another great video. Love the fact that you really show
and tell how difficult it is to be “silent” while walking in the forest.
The fact that his videos are more about the feel of photography make them really enjoyable and calming😊😊
The Shutterbug definitely that’s what I enjoy about them too
What a wonderful world Nikon and Canon together!
Thank you so much, Your videos are so calming, especially after coming home after a long day of work.
Beautiful shots of the bison, getting shots like that must make the whole day worthwhile.
Thanks again Morten for taking us along on your journey. Poland looks like a beautiful country. You make me feel like I am right along side of you with my camera in my hands. Thanks to Simon also! Looking forward to part 2....

We're taking the little 150-600...
Hahaha. Yes, it's a big lens but his baby is the enormous 600 f4! I enjoy how small my 150-600 G2 is compared to my 500 f4.
