Great to see you girls exploring and enjoying Sri Lanka. If you are going to be in Sri Lanka for quite a while, try exploring areas like Hambantota, Yala national park, Nuwara Eliya, Kandy, Anuradhapura, Pasikuda, Trinco and Jaffna as well.

Most of those police guys do know the foreigners don't have the license to drive here. But they will let you go because they don't want to bother foreigners which helps the country's economy. But there will be no chances for anyone with drug abuses,

BTW, In Weligama ( my hometown ) there’s a river which parallel to the beach and its view and the experience would be really nice. 👌

Hi guys great vid , I was in goa last yr , did north & south , preferred it down south tbh , is Sri Lanka pretty similar as regards accommodation booking , I’m thinking end of February, can I book as I go , through AGODA etc , I don’t like pre booking b4 hand just do it on spec once I’ve decided on which area I want to go to ? Are beach huts available there ?
What’s price like for food , beer etc is it similar to goa ?

In some countries, even you have a valid driving license from your country, you still need additional document that is IDP, the International Driving Permit. You certainly need to look into that because you are travelling a lot.

@@BeerForBreakfast (2) Two types of IDP's for various countries (1949 & 1968). you can get one from any main Post Office in the UK.

I have yet to meet anyone who doesn't like hoppers. They are made with fermented rice batter & come in plain, egg & even a sweet version made with palm treacle.
If you guys are from London there are two branches of " Hoppers" in London with the third branch opening early next year.

I have come all the way from India to Srilanka...
I’m a British too, traveling & Drivivg in Srilanka consistently.
just go to the post office in uk with English Drivivg license and 2 photos.
In 5 minutes, your international drivers permit will be in your hand.
To drive in Srilanka, you also need to pop into department of motor traffic for a paper.
