I was so happy to hear Micha's comment on Sri Lankan tea. I am a Sri Lankan, doing my research in the UK, and when I first arrived here I bought some good quality tea from Sri Lanka for my professor as a formality. Eventually I noticed that he hasn't even opened it, and I was a little worried for bringing tea for him without checking whether he drinks tea or not. Later on, after he became a bit more friendly with me, I asked him whether he drinks tea, and his reply was "I drink tea, but I only drink English tea".
This video made me feel better, and to think that I have bought him something nice, even though he did not happen to try that. :) Thank you for that.
I used to live in Sri Lanka, too. There I had had the best, purest tea ever in my life. The brand was Dilmah. I think.
Does he know the so called English tea is itself made from tea grown in Sri Langka?

I'm not a tea drinker before but having some health issues when you grow older, you would certainly anything that will make you better. tea from Sri Lanka in someway helped me cure my health issues. So now, I drink one cup of coffee in the morning and one or two cups of tea in the afternoon. Justina, thats very true, i am also trying to find work other than teaching. have you tried Fiverr? 👍💖
Yeah, we both have, but nothing really struck us on Fiverr or Freelancer. Maybe I should give another go? Are you finding any good projects for yourself to work on? :)
I'm still searching for other options too. Fiverr doesnt struck me too. cant think of a gig to sell 😂

Great to see how you enjoy your time in Sri Lanka. As for internet, you can rely on your own sim card in Sri Lanka. Internet packages are very cheap compared to other countries and you can top up very easily using the mobile app/web. And the speeds are way better than even certain 1st world countries.
Dialog & Mobitel are two reliable telco in Sri Lanka, giving a fast coverage in the island and speed for a very fair price.
But bare in mind that the upload speeds could be slower than download.

Hey guys, please note that even though wifi is unreliable at cafes sometimes, the way I do it is to use the data from the phone to make a hotspot from my phone. Phone data is so cheap in Sri Lanka, I believe this method is viable.

I always enjoy your videos. They are informative and you two make me laugh. Your videos were so helpful during my trip to Malaysia. I was playing back some of your older videos because I'm looking to plan another trip and I remembered that you mentioned portable wifi devices in one of those videos. Did you do any further research on these devices? Are they worth looking into?

If you are having rice and curry in Sri Lanka then you have to eat like a Sri Lankan, use your hand to eat 😉😋 using a spoon to eat rice and curry is not the same as eating with your hand. Try it and you will see the difference 😋😋😋

The best black tea I had in Asia was Malaysian Boh tea . Loved it . The tea in sri lanka was ok . It's still called Celon tea . Tea is better for you than coffee. I find your travel video's are the most interesting and natural . Your two personalities shine through. Your the best .
In India places near the Himalayas like Dharmasala, Rishikesh, Shimla, Manali are wonderful during this time of the year. And also since it is winter it would be so wonderful. Hope you visit near the Himalayas in INDIA
There are so many online freelancers in Sri Lanka and according to a survey done in 2017, the average per month income was something around $200 and most of them were part timers.
Nothing to worry about the internet here in SL. 😉

What you girls do for work? Besides teaching? Also, i had dialog wasn’t that good. When using. Maybe where i was. I used telecom. But its a headache to reload.
You can use 10gb data for 93 rupees from airtel for a one day. only thing you need to do is buy airtel sim and download airtel app. You can activate package through that app. They don't have 4G like dialog but it is no laggy.

girls when it comes to internet dialog got broadband wingle it works as a wifi hotspot cost you around 34/=$ can be connected to 10 devices and portable. you don't have to worry about connectivity. it's easily top up with any grocery stores. to be honest, DIALOG is the best service provider island wide
