You didnt go whale watching in Mirissa? Its the best place in the world to see Blue Whales! The sea food you get in Sri Lanka is the best in the world world! At Hikkadua beach on the west coast just up from Galle giant turtles will feed from your hands, its amazing! Sri Lanka is one of my favourite places in the world, I have been 4 times and cant wait to return!

You missed pasikuda beach, it's also very beautiful but lonely with some amazing tourist hotels. Plus Arugambay, the best surfing 🏄 spot in Sri Lanka. Both are in the east, arugambay is in the end of east coast near to yala. 😭
Dear Budgeteers, This is by far the best Sri Lanka travelogue I watched. You guys were so detailed in your trip. I visited srilanka for a week few years ago but was on a complete different itinerary. Watching this series during the Covid pandemic made me wish for the pandemic to end soon so that I can plan a trip to Srilanka again. Loads of love from India. But one thing that baffled me is who flew the drone, as I couldn’t notice any one operating the remote through out the series. Keep up the great work !!!

On a Friday night after a long week, the Budgeteers episode is first on the list for Annalie (my wife) and I, to get into the weekend spirit. We have also loved to see each series evolve, improve and we truly appreciate your dedication to producing a top quality show. Should you ever decide to visit Africa (RSA, JHB), we would love for you to stay over in our guest room to thank you for the countless hours of entertainment we've received from you. Keep up the awesomeness ! On that note, as a veteran of video production (20 yrs+), I've noticed a frame-rate issue in your video. It's not something that most people would consciously be aware of, but subconsciously it cheapens the production value. Luckily it's an issue that is easily remedied, and you'll be surprised to see how much smoother the final video will play. 25 frames per second is the key. RUclips's default is 25 fps, but camera's default usually to 29,97 fps (the USA standard). As a result there are more frames from the camera footage than in the edit sequence, so every 5 frames the edit package skips a frame, which causes a slight jerk in the video. That is 5 times every second, 320 times for every minute of video. All you have to do to fix this, is to ensure that the camera, edit sequence and exports are set to 25 fps. Check the drone's camera setting as well. Thanks again for the amazing content and experiences you share. Hope to see you soon in South Africa.

I love the coastal town of Tangier, Morocco and hope you might consider some travel through Morocco on a future series. It’s predominantly Muslim but not a “dry” country and you can buy beers just about anywhere. It might be a cool spot for a series. I love this Sri Lanka series. I’m a bid sad because it’s coming to a close. I wish this series could go on much longer. The three of you produce compelling content that is evocative and I think that sets you apart from others. That surfing sequence towards the end using the drone was on point! Loved it. Cheers!

@@420nabzy There's another Kovalam beach also known as Covelong point close to Mahabalipuram in Tamil Nadu. It's known for its surfing and local fisheries.
@@420nabzy Yes, you should definitely check it out if you're in the Chennai area. Skip Mahabalipuram and go to Kovalam. Look up Surf Turf, they provide equipment and support for surfing. Also, there's a cute cafe with great food to relax at the end of the day.

Wonderful video- was so excited to see what you guys did on the coast! I am really loving this series- especially because we are in Sri Lanka right now! :) Right next to jungle beach is Unawatuna beach! A must when your visiting this area- the beach was so beautiful and a great place to swim! Also, the town was so cute and charming- unlike Mirissa. The one knock I have against Mirissa is the beach is directly on a busy road- which makes it not as relaxing. However, Mirissa is still amazing!

The best coastal town I have been is actually a city and is in my own country which is Liverpool, it has literally everything you would want to do and see but if abroad (if wales counts) I would have to go with Tenby in Wales, such a beautiful place in the summer... and I have been Asia, Europe and north America so am truly lucky to have so much so near. ...as always great video, are you planning next years yet? The series is STUNNING I finished it all in 2 sits , Im goin’ this Jan and that so Inspiring, but I have a couple of questions, ur route seems to be unique as I didn’t see any travelers doin’ it , is that possible by public transportation?, and lastly if u had less time as 18 days what cities would you skip?
Yes you can take buses in between cities and towns. It will require more time and better planning but doable for sure. What cities to skip? Well that's hard... Its all personal taste. You can do a lot in 18days though 😊
That meal for $20 is absolutely insane. Even in a somewhat decent restaurant here in philly you’d be looking at $100 easy, not including drinks and tip, for 3 people. Incredible

Super sad that series 4 is ending next week 😭 This episode was so relaxing to watch. Galle fort is my dad's home town and I have been visiting it frequently when growing up. You have captured the South Coast so beautifully.

another amazing episode 🙌the most stunning costal town I've visited would have to be Cetara on the Amalfi Cost in Italy. it's a small town but I felt like the only traveller and everyone was so friendly, that welcoming and laid back atmosphere mixed with the scenery was perfect ❤️

The series is STUNNING I finished it all in 2 sits , Im goin’ this Jan and that so Inspiring, but I have a couple of questions, ur route seems to be unique as I didn’t see any travelers doin’ it , is that possible by public transportation?, and lastly if u had less time as 18 days what cities would you skip?
Yes you can take buses in between cities and towns. It will require more time and better planning but doable for sure.
What cities to skip? Well that's hard...
Its all personal taste. You can do a lot in 18days though 😊
