Extreme Ice Storm on a Ranch

Christmas afternoon it started snowing, and then that night it turned to rain and ice. It was just the right temperature to freeze all the rain we got over the next couple days into sheets of ice and icicles.
But we were able to take care of the cattle through the storm, and make some good family memories too.

Man the ice cream making brings back memories. At my grandparents place not far from yours 60 years ago with grandma showing us how to make ice cream middle of summer with blocks of ice cut from the stock pond and kept in the root cellar covered with sawdust. Good memories. Thanks for bringing them back.
