Hey guys! Just wanted to let you all know that after some further testing, I've found the 235 tire width to be AWESOME on this car. If you end up running the tune and it feels too gripped up, definitely bump down to the 235/35/18 - it helps with the left foot brakes too! Remember, tuning is an ongoing process - especially on a new game! Stoked to keep improving these builds as we move along. Thanks for watching!!!
Thank you for the tunes. Since i started playing on PC, i used most of your tunes. Of course i still adjust it, but not by much. Thank you for another banger!!!
can you please make a video explaining about all the little details for building a drift build? explaining what each option does for the way the car drifts so we can make our own builds ?
Trying to drift the Z31 atm and having a rough time tuning it, I’m running all race engine parts and ultimate suspension, 17 tire size with 255 front and 235 rear 4.0 final drive and slight gear modifications on the ratios, no engine swap either
I built an MK4 supra myself yesterday, fully uppraged the stock engine and i regret not 2jz swapping it with the coins. The 2jz that comes in the car has crazy drop of power/torque at high rpm compared to the 2jz you can swap in. Kinda weird tbh lol.
Let's go dude, thank you so much for the kind words!! I know they're working on a console version, but last we heard was they're looking to have "base work" done by the end of this year - not sure what that means for release 😕
hey man i really hope you can help here. Ive got a logitec wheel and im having next to no luck in any drift car with it. I made this build almost exactly and for the life of me cant control a drift on the wheel. the second i start correcting it just loops out before i could physically correct fast enough. its like the car is drifting on rims... i have my FFB set to 1 like you mentioned in your other video and i have logitech g hub installed with 900degh steering. Is there something major im missing??
also, i have the ackerman angle set way down as mentioned in your other video and i have the welded differential in. on controller the ackerman angel makes it near impossible to spin out. but on wheel it still spins instantly with ease.
@@danielknox1620 hey man! I was spinning out a lot w welded diff too, I prefer the ultimate diff on wheel for that reason for sure. Welded is super snappy. Other than that, it's a lot of patience and throttle control! They've added stability assists too, so you can try those out, but I wouldn't reccomend relying on those 😁
@@ntns_media okay major discovery! I realised my force feedback was basically not working at all. I jumped on tonight and it was properly working and was correcting based off the car drifting. I then played on the controller for 2 mins and went back to the wheel and had 0 correction from the force feedback. That’s why I would immediately spin out. I was throwing the wheel back and forth myself cause it wasn’t doing anything! Why this happens is another thing. But maybe you can make a video on this as I’m sure a lot of people might be having the same issue in a Logitech g20! 🙏
@@ntns_media yeah for me it happens either when I minimise the game to do something else or I go from the wheel to controller and then back! It can be reset without restarting the game by unplugging and replugging in the wheel and letting it calibrate
Does the type of rim really affect drifting? Because i tuned a supra for racing but it was drifting and i didn't change much to it just a few bits here and there and it drifts good but i can't keep it sable in a tandem because it wants to get speed and the drift is faster and faster. It does not oversteer, understeer or spin, i just can't stay in line properly behind a player beacause i might bump in them or go in front of them. Again, a tutorial where every part is explained is a must.
Wheel and tire size definitely affects handling! Grip can be caused by many factor, so I'd need to know more about your tune to reccomend a good tire size, starting with power and weight 😁
Also full tutorial will come out after a few more builds, I want to make sure I'm comfortable with all the upgrades myself before putting together a definitive guide! 😁👊
@@nishanthshah370 I haven't tried it on wheel yet, but I'd recommend at least going with low Ackerman, in this game I have a harder time drifting my controller tunes on wheel
Good call with the tires. I’m the same way with my tires dude it drives me crazy cuz I’m always messing with them The Supra has high center of gravity and is heavy so try doing weight reduction it might surprise you. *edit* I see you ended up doing weight reduction 😂

Thanks for checking it out bro, this one's definitely my favorite so far!!
you can tune center off mass that will eliminate most of the body roll

Easily the best builds on RUclips, fully fleshed out plus you might end up learning something new

might be a stupid question but any links/guides explaining transmission tuning specifically?

I am! I do have a wheel as well, but I need some more practice in this game for sure 😂
that 21 Tribe was too hard, to complete it had to cheat drift

Just leave the brake stock 👍🏼
I tried stock brakes, they didn't feel like they had any less bite than the racing ones tbh, just less tunability as far as bias
why is it so important to not let the wheels hit the fenders?
Just a visual thing!
I used the wemod out of frustrartion today for some credit now I'm scared of getting banned 😢 I just modded 300k credits and 200 street coin

1 mil. for tuning one car.. prices are killing me in this game - gets me demotivated a little..
It's definitely a grind, but it's getting easier with recent economy buffs and level cap expansion!
How can you call a supra "legendary" but not even know about the top secret body kit?
You're right, the fact that I was unaware of a certain body kit means that the car is no longer legendary I guess I'll quit RUclips and move to Alaska
Not too much sense, if you swap the 2jz with 2jz its gonna be more powerful😂
