She is the sprinkles on the top of a sundae that makes it appealng. Without sprinkles it would still be a good sundae just missing that something only some sprinkles can offer.
You guys are the cutest couple I have ever seen. Your wife is absolutely adorable. And you Robbie are a fantastic friend and Boss. Hilbilly seems like such a great guy. he deserves the love. Wish you guys were closer, I would have loved to donate time and labor to fix his truck up.
Robby and Demri, great decision to take care of Hillbilly’s Trekker. He’s an invaluable part of your operation and prioritizing something for him goes a long way towards feeling appreciated! Robby, make sure Demri gets more air time in your videos too. She gives added pizazz to them!
Can’t wait to see the finished product. Request: could you update us about the outcome of the thieves who came to your brother’s property? Just a little chat at the end of one of the posts?
This is awesome! I have an 82' Pickup that my Dad gave me, that my dream is to restore, due to so many unfortunate events, it just keeps getting pushed further and further and back. But watching this gives me hope that someday I'll get to it. God Bless you all! This is so cool!
Robby, I worked in the auto body field for most of my career and there is nothing you do that I haven't done. Thanks for the memories. When I did that work I just got busy and did what had to be done. I always started with the hardest hit areas first or the hardest part, To my way of thinking, doing the hardest thing first meant that it just gets easier as you go.
It's so good to hear that there is someone out there who breaks down jobs (like hoods) into smaller jobs! I always say it's easier to do the job when I can see the end of the tunnel, and that being the case; I'll make more, shorter tunnels!
You're not the only one to subdivide big tasks into smaller pieces in order to preserve your sanity. I've been doing that for decades, just to keep my stress level under control. Good luck to Hillbilly and his family on the Laymo trip (one of the most awesome vehicles ever built, in my opinion).
Hillbilly keeps me watching. He is identical to every friend and relative I have. It’s amazing how well you treat the people around you. Very rare these days.
Okay, the pocket sized crescent wrenches have a history. I respect that. Then again - Knipex makes the wrench pliers in all sizes, down to 150 (6 inch) and 125 mm (5 inch)...
I totally understand your breaking things into squares 👍 I do it, even for washing the dishes. But for sure when I did a lot of drywall mudding the walls, and sanding a whole house is overwhelming. So I'd start with the mindset of one room at a time, and each wall was a square, started with the ceiling.👍
Glad to see Demris more on the other side of the camera She adds something to the mix for sure Glad she is getting less and less camera shy. Very cute. Your a lucky guy Robbie Also for a project recommendation. After watching the lamo in action. And granted it did way better than I thought being so long. I think you need to add rear steering to it. Thing would be ultimate
I call that style of project break down as the teaspoon method. You break it down into bite size pieces, so you can see you’re making progress on a big project and then it doesn’t feel so overwhelming.
I absolutely break up big panels into small sections, somehow it's much easier to think of then doing the whole panel at once. I don't think you're crazy robby 😅
I'm so pleased to see all you people getting along in this way. You're doing so many things for each other and with each other too. I like it! What I found that is missing is to see Dinner there doing what he did in the past. But I remember seeing him in one episode in just a week ago I believe, and without any explanation. How is he doing now?
I really like this channel and the Boss’s increased involvement in the videos has definitely added value! What has happened to Dinner? I may have missed a video were Dinner’s absence was disclosed. I know that he got a girlfriend and went on a trip or vacation with his girlfriend if I remember correctly and maybe got engaged. Please comment back to let me know where Dinner is.
Hey Robby here is a tip from years of experience. Wear well fitting gloves when sanding. It saves sanding all the skin off your fingers and also pads them from getting fatigued/sore!
Robby you and your family are special, your very caring people who care for their employees and others! I know Hillbillies worthy of what your doing for him, I just want to say thank you for all you do! All you guy's on RUclips Matt's Off Road Recovery, Fab Rats, Merlins Old School Garage, the list is long, you all pay it forward! That's why I love watching your channels, and yes the great content helps! You guys make me laugh and put a big smile on my face!Til next time take care and we'll see you on the next...
I like the way you make achievable mini goals to help you not be overwhelmed. A strategy that should be taught to others. Perhaps they would then do as great of job as you do, in their realm of work.
I love your methodology Robbie, I tell my apprentices when they are facing a big job " you eat an elephant one bite at a time". Super videos. Good job.
it's really great 👍 being able to work with people who help an employee out..and you robby and demeri, are great people helping hillbilly and your other employees 😀 👍 and a great feeling for hillbilly to be able to work for you and the knowledge hillbilly brings to your shop....it's wonderful seeing your children in the video's,, we need some more riddles to keep us on our toes. thanks for making great videos 📹 👍,and for caring about your employees....and the lamo is looking good too..
17:30 Robby, I am told that it's part of being ADHD. I happen to know because I have diagnosed with it and my Doctor has said its a good way of coping with things that overwhelm and distract you. By the way, I am 59 so its not only kids anymore. It seems that you treat your employees really well, I applaud you for that. Not many employers treat employees that way these days. Not that you really need to told that you have a beautiful wife and family because you really do! Take good care of them, please. She is a one of a kind person with a great heart!
Yeah... I'm a little OCD too... and I have to break things into pieces so I don't feel overwhelmed and to get gratification on each section I finish!!!
My Wife and I flip homes and then rent them. It took me forever to teach her to do one room at a time. She would go through and tear out everything, then it becomes overwhelming with no end in sight and makes the other tradesmen mad. Everything needs to done in a sequence plumbing, electrical, drywall etc. for a smooth flow.
makes moving and dealing with demo debris more manageable that way too. like when I used to flip homes the first one I did was a big old house and I gutted everything at once and was filling a roll off dumpster and they had to keep coming to empty it so much there was massive ruts on the lawn from the truck coming in and out so much in such a short time.
I would of thought the insulation is for sound deadening off the drumming, rattling, and general road noise from vibration. Good idea it works i did to my old army truck.
I saw way past the imposters effort ....I was thinking Robby was looking way too cute....lol A little something I learned when working with rubber hoses and tubing like that gas filler tube....dish soap...it helps make dried rubber more pliable and lubricates.
If you lived were i do you don't leave key's in anything for a minute. Good practice to get into if you ask me. Funny that hillbilly watched you guy's drive away with the trekker 🤣🤣.
I just KNEWED you were gonna give him the LAMO for the camping trip! PS I hope Tyler, aka Dinner is doing okay. I miss him on the channel. Seemed like a decent bloke.
I always divided up big areas when I was sanding them too. When I had my restoration shop we re-did an orange '70 Charger. I had my son sand all the paint off the roof. First thing he did was sand a Stars and Bars shape on the roof and an "01" on each door.
It’s great to see Demri getting more involved in the channel
Hell yah it is . Her personality is soo dam cute ! A very cool chick ( snow bunny) lol
She is the sprinkles on the top of a sundae that makes it appealng. Without sprinkles it would still be a good sundae just missing that something only some sprinkles can offer.
This. She is so cool AND I think the most beautiful woman on YT motor channels.
Robby #1
Yeah, we need more cool chicks with soft voices. Good for this channel.
Hillbilly deserves all this special attention. He works hard for the company. God bless

Robby, make sure Demri gets more air time in your videos too. She gives added pizazz to them!
I love the fact that you are helping Hillbillie honor his uncle by fixing up the trekker.
Can’t wait to see the finished product.
Request: could you update us about the outcome of the thieves who came to your brother’s property? Just a little chat at the end of one of the posts?
It's good to see Demri get over being so shy, she's definitely good for the videos. Not just because she's cute but she's fun
This is awesome! I have an 82' Pickup that my Dad gave me, that my dream is to restore, due to so many unfortunate events, it just keeps getting pushed further and further and back. But watching this gives me hope that someday I'll get to it. God Bless you all! This is so cool!
Really enjoyed Demri especially imitating Robby! Good work Demri. Do more!
Robby, I worked in the auto body field for most of my career and there is nothing you do that I haven't done. Thanks for the memories. Robby is a awesome guy it seems like he really cares about making people happy all round just a good person
Demri has the cutest laugh 😂 can't wait to see the new paint job .
You're not the only one to subdivide big tasks into smaller pieces in order to preserve your sanity. I've been doing that for decades, just to keep my stress level under control. Good luck to Hillbilly and his family on the Laymo trip (one of the most awesome vehicles ever built, in my opinion).
Love the relationships that have been developed explored and deepened, be sure to keep those through it all. They are what make life worth the ride.
Hillbilly keeps me watching. He is identical to every friend and relative I have. It’s amazing how well you treat the people around you. Very rare these days.
The Boss sounds like she’s not feeling well. Robby you need to take care of her, she’s the one that keeps y’all out of trouble.
I was getting ready to comment WOW Robbie you sound like you're really tired
It's allergy season in their part of Utah, mentioned a few videos ago. They've all been a bit stopped up.
Okay, the pocket sized crescent wrenches have a history. I respect that. Then again - Knipex makes the wrench pliers in all sizes, down to 150 (6 inch) and 125 mm (5 inch)...
I always divide any chore or trip into sections, makes life a whole lot more approachable and doable.
Nice one Robby!

Also for a project recommendation. After watching the lamo in action. And granted it did way better than I thought being so long.
I think you need to add rear steering to it.

This is a different style video and I’m here for it. I like the laid back version
I call that style of project break down as the teaspoon method. You break it down into bite size pieces, so you can see you’re making progress on a big project and then it doesn’t feel so overwhelming.
Robby love the new look on the intro.
Don't worry Robby your completely normal "AB Normal" that is.
Really awesome good boss.. kitchen missing it!! 🤪 Respect.. Blessings 904PR1
I liked Demri's impression of Robby! Now can we see Robby's impression of Demri? You guys are great!
I absolutely break up big panels into small sections, somehow it's much easier to think of then doing the whole panel at once. I don't think you're crazy robby 😅

I spotted those Hella FF50 lights, and smiled! Underrated little set! Have a fog set on my Ranger for over a decade!
I used to have an '83, it was my first 4x4. They're called a Hilux in Australia, wish I had kept it now. Can't wait to see it blue
Demri is such a cool wife. And Robbie is awesome for doing cool stuff for his employees.
You have a history of ‘stealing’ vehicles! I would immediately come to you looking for it before calling the police 😂🤟🏼
Yeah 😂 true true
ROBBY, please keep being such a godsend to your family you work with whither related or not. Hillbilly is a great, awesome person.
I was thinking Hillbilly should take the Laymo, LOL!
Hey Robby here is a tip from years of experience. Wear well fitting gloves when sanding. It saves sanding all the skin off your fingers and also pads them from getting fatigued/sore!
The Boss needs her own channel! Behind the scenes with Demri!
I concur!
Maybe like a year end wrap up or something?
Very clever!
Second thar one
Have fun Cowboy, you have a pretty good friend (boss). can't wait to see this truck painted. Thanks!
Robby you and your family are special, your very caring people who care for their employees and others! I know Hillbillies worthy of what your doing for him, I just want to say thank you for all you do! Robby your a special person! Love how u help so much to whoever needs it God bless you and ur family
My brain works EXACTLY like that, I could tell you stories. Important sanity practices!
Nice him getting to take the limo and y’all painting the ride for him! Team work makes the dream work!
You guys and girls always put a smile on my face.
I'm sure the family had a blast with the Limo. Great color choice. Blue is my favorite. Its going to be amazing when they are done.
RobbyLayton to 1,000,000. The boss is looking GOOD! Great progress team!
Great video’s, love ya work! One person missing! Where is Big Dinner? 🇦🇺🍺🍺
Layton Family is lovely!
I really think Demri should definitely be on camera way more often.. does anyone else feel that way??
Shes deff a trophy wife. Robby is lucky man 100%
She's way nicer to look at than robbie and hillbilly too !
@@jodywells7519 hahaha she is. Love that cake.
Oh heck yeah, get Demri in front of the camera a lot more often.
I like the way you make achievable mini goals to help you not be overwhelmed. A strategy that should be taught to others. Perhaps they would then do as great of job as you do, in their realm of work.
The boss is so elegant and full of class .
That's awesome, have a good week and count your blessings amen.
It's coming along nicely guys.
That was nice. I think that colour will be nice on that car!
I love your methodology Robbie, I tell my apprentices when they are facing a big job " you eat an elephant one bite at a time". Super videos. Good job.
Robbie and Demi your both really good friends taking care of hillbilly I admire you for that . How about an update on big dinner how is he doing.
I love how close you guys are as friends that’s awesome 💪🏻❤️👍🙏🏻✌️
Great to see the family support.
I love blue. I re-painted my 92 dakota with 1972 Ford midnight blue with metallic flakes. My uncle did an amazing job. It turned out awsome
I love the thing about separating it into small areas. That is exactly how my brain approaches a large task.
Another feel-good video! Nice.
Demri you have really stepped your game as a RUclipsr. You almost had me chick in my drink because of have strongly you presented your parts.
Thanks
Robby for that door. Call California Mini Trucks in Pomona California. God bless
You guys are the best, helping folks like you do!
it's really great 👍 being able to work with people who help an employee out..and you robby and demeri, are great people helping hillbilly and your other employees 😀 👍 and a great feeling for hillbilly to be able to work for you and the knowledge hillbilly brings to your shop....it's wonderful seeing your children in the video's,, we need some more riddles to keep us on our toes. thanks for making great videos 📹 👍,and for caring about your employees....and the lamo is looking good too..
The insulation provides structure and support for the outer panels.

That is going to look pretty cool when it’s done
I said it in my mind that robby could lend hillbilly the laymo n that's exactly wat happened ......I really love how u guys live and work as a family
Robby, my Grandfather taught me, to break down projects, into small pieces. By concentrating on the small pieces, I don't get overwhelmed.
At this rate, it won't be long until all of Hillbilly's vehicles are going to be in the shop. 😂
On sanding squares; divide and conquer. I'm with you Robby.
Robby you are the only kind of one of a kind. Always better to give than to receive.
Yeah... I'm a little OCD too... and I have to break things into pieces so I don't feel overwhelmed and to get gratification on each section I finish!!!
Well that paint 🎨 job will be a big improvement over what you have now 🤠. Thanks for sharing 😊.
Absolutely agree about a law against packing peanuts. Robby, lets gets a writing campaign started with everyone's state senators!
My Wife and I flip homes and then rent them. It took me forever to teach her to do one room at a time. She would go through and tear out everything, then it becomes overwhelming with no end in sight and makes the other tradesmen mad. I really enjoy watching Demri open up she started out very shy
You need to talk to Matt about the axels Tom Tom bought. Then Hillbilly's rig will be ready to go on rescue missions.
Those "peanuts" launch pretty good when you fill a barrel full & have an air bag underneath them!
Robby you and the boss are so good to Hillbilly. Thank you for letting him us your vehicle camping.
I would of thought the insulation is for sound deadening off the drumming, rattling, and general road noise from vibration. Good idea it works i did to my old army truck.
A classmate named Tony Stevens brazenly stole my mini Crescent wrench from me in high school many years ago. I have never forgotten.
Robby I 1000% agree with you about packing peanuts... illegal.....
Layton’s Auto Collision has grown into a dynamic duo. It’s crazy good how you take care of Hillbilly. He gives you so much in return. 😊
Demri! You did so well! Thank you for being bold and doing this video with Robby and Hillbilly.
I saw way past the imposters effort ....I was thinking Robby was looking way too cute....lol
A little something I learned when working with rubber hoses and tubing like that gas filler tube....dish soap...it helps make dried rubber more pliable and lubricates.
Lol I do the same thing when I mow the lawn. I find it's easier, and not so overwhelming, it it's in pieces.
Looks good Robby. But, where's Dinner? Haven't seen him in awhile.
I wish hillbilly would let robby fix one of his rigs up. The toyota has so much potential.
I always divided up big areas when I was sanding them too. When I had my restoration shop we re-did an orange '70 Charger. I had my son sand all the paint off the roof. First thing he did was sand a Stars and Bars shape on the roof and an "01" on each door.
We all got a lil Robby inside of us that’s why we are here watching these builds 😂😂❤
What an awesome episode.
I mow my grass exactly how you sand hoods 🤷♂️😂 I thought I was the only one
Time to use hillbilly’s real name!! Deserves the recognition for all he does.
The Boss makes your shirt / channel great!
awesome as always.thanks for sharing and taking us along
“Show off the broncstar…..”hahahahahahahah. …..🤣😅😅😂🤣 now thats quite a concept….
Only the packing peanuts made from Corn starch are edible. They dissolve in water. or add salt and they taste like popcorn. LOL
