I kinda wish they did more with your cult members in this fight than just being fervour drops, maybe there being a chance one of the eyes attempting to kill them to either heal or get stronger and you'd have to go out of your way to stop it.
yeah, I kind of assumed the cult would act as a countdown? for example the one who waits would periodically kill a random member, and if they got to zero you would die - rewarding the player for having a bigger cult by giving them more time to defeat him, and stopping players from using demons to cheese the fight by letting them deal damage and they just dodge instead

Not gonna lie it was disappointing. Fighting his eyes was underwhelming, expected something crazier and personal. Narinder 1st was a lot more exciting and interesting. Eyes were...like some kind of low-mid tier minions. Lame.
i know this isn't full related to the video but... am i the only one who can imagine the one who wait's being voice acted be stephan weyte if i were to chose voice actor's for the characters of cotl i would chose him for toww, or shamura and have Kyle DeNigris voice toww.
I know it's only the first phase but it isn't the kind of music I'd expect for a final boss like this one, it has that one emotional melody in the vocals that seems kind of out of place given the context.
@@littlemoth4956it's more fitting of a sadder scene, the betrayal here isn't an emotional one. Narinder is decidedly evil and wants to kill you and you don't want to die so you fight back. This is a melody I would expect for a fight with a mentor-turned-evil or some meaningful betrayal.
I feel like Narinder being definitively evil isn’t really correct. Yes, he did horrible things and encourages you to be cruel to your followers, but he has been chained in literal purgatory for like. A thousand years ish according to Heket? Also, you did just kill his two closest disciples (and sorta maybe his sons? Some people interpret it that way idk) I’d be pretty upset if my only chance to escape after a thousand years turned on me, even if it was for a good reason. Like that sucks, yk?

I do feel for him, eternal imprisonment sucks and being denied my one escape from it would definitely make me extremely upset, but I guess it just doesn't feel like a very emotional situation in the context of the game. He's definitely really really angry at you, but to me it felt like breaking a deal with the devil and the devil proceeding to try to kill you, like I'm not sympathizing with the devil here
