I really like how the OSTs of this game are so unique. You could hear one of these pieces, and immediately be like "Oh, this is from Cult of the Lamb!"

@@j100j certainly not as a musical affair, I love the Hollow Knight and its mood, but its music does not hold up for long listens. Like I'll put on the Mantis Lords, it's great, but realistically Hollow Knight offers short catchy loops as opposed to a full OST.
Every part of this game is makes you go immidietly think of Cult of the Lamb. For me it feels like the Animal Crossing x Doom Eternal hype if it was a game but simply saying something like that does it a disservice. It's sad that alot of game devs especially on high budget games ignore music that much, the last game I heard unique and memorable enough music was from the persona series where you can immidietly identify the music to the games.
Fun fact:before I saw ANY gamplay of cult of the lamb,I thought that the lamb was an evil being and we,the player played as someone else who had to defeat the lamb
Imagine if there was a sequel of this game where you play as a dissenting cult member, and your goal is to defeat the lamb and abolish the crowns for good.
Heket is my favorite mostly because of the ingenious choice of taking the holy-sounding choir that's present throughout almost all of the OST and making it incredibly scratchy, glitchy, and muffled as to reflect Heket's "speak no evil" situation.
Somehow the Minecraft music is "shroomy", like sounds rather from the cave, dark moist, and mostly silent enough to hear the mushrooms and algae grow, but this music just feels.. grassy! Bells, chants, songs, whispers and prayers, wind, cymbals and bones, everything that you can hear in an enchanted forest. If you are unlucky enough. Just love it!
I very much think the COTL soundtrack sounds like when the air just starts to warm up outside in the spring. It's a warm sun, cool breeze, green grass and budding flowers.
I love how each of the Bishop's soundtracks are customized to the personality of each, for example Heket's is forceful, and the voices heard in it are strangled and contorted just like how her throat has been torn out. Really like how this soundtrack is.
Start a Cult continually plays inside my head all day every day. I have never heard such a serene song with such a catchy tune before I truly think CotL has the best soundtrack i've ever heard.
52:45 during my adventure if I see Ratoo I always stop by , not because of the hearts just for the sad vibe that he and the song gives, reminding me of someone that I lost , leaving me with an empty space in my chest 💔
Hear you man, I would just stay there listening to the music and keeping him company, while I was doing that i was think about my last relationship and when we said something along wanting another moment with “her” I start to weep a little. Once I found out that I can return his lost heart that was my top priority. Feeling empty is the worst so I would do it for a line of code in a video game.
you can return his heart. once you get the demon summoning circle, there is a demon shaped as a heart. once you summon it, you can take it to him and he will accept it. anyway, im sorry for your loss, and i hope you're doing better now. :)

With really good headphones you can hear echoes of their voices in 4 different directions (actually i can hear 6 or even 7 different directions in „praise the lamb” or „start the cult”).
This is why I go out of my way to buy soundtracks from some games. They're both so incredibly good, and at the same time company's like this don't pull a Nintendo and rip it away from us
I love how each of the side npc's themes fit them so well Plimbo's theme is playful and funny, Sozo's theme is fun but quirky, and Clauneck's theme is so peaceful, probably because all he does is sit there and draw tarot cards.

I have a hard time focusing on one game for a while, but this game had me hooked. I played all of it, even the postgame and I had so much fun. Thinking about playing even more again sometime. For now, this gave me so many ideas for my stories. COTL is the best, honestly. Great gameplay, great music, great design, everything about it is the best.

I just started playing Cult of the Lamb 2 days ago and its super addictive! Yall did fantastic work and should be very proud of yourselves. If i could make one critique, I wish that elders weren't useless. Them being the oldest of the cult members they should be the wisest. Would be cool if they gave double devotion or inspired the other cult members. Again you all did a fantastic job here! Definitely in my top 5 favorite games if not in the top 3.
