Strong reports that Jupp Heynckes is about to return to Bayern Munich for the season. What do you think about this? Could another treble be on the cards?
I don't see a treble but we can definitely win the Bundesliga and get somewhere in the Champions League. Jupp created the style of play most managers try to imitate at Bayern after him. He's the only manager that can change the team and make way for a fresh manager. With the depth that we have this year he will be crucial to assigning key roles to younger upcoming players.
Because he only had one outstanding season before being forced into a centre back role where he's decent but nowhere near world class. Just look at his performance against PSG.
Barcelona 09,11 are the most offensive treble winners, Inter Milan in 10 are the best Defensive Treble winners, but this Bayern in 13 is the most Complete of all the Treble winners and might be the Greatest Team ever
It was the most dominant treble ever: they won 29 out of 34 matches in the Bundesliga (loosing just 1), 6 out of 6 cup matches and 6 out of 7 K.O. matches in the CL including Barca and Juve, they won their domestic Super Cup against Dortmund, incredible season!!!
@@MK12275 nah. Flicks bayern faced Chelsea at it's weakest, Barca at a weaker time, and Tottenham. Heynkes face prime Barcelona, prime Dortmund with lewa, Reus hummels, gotze and managed by klopp, and then destroyed them.
This team is an excellent example of when the right personnel and manager come together as one. The players played for the manager and he gave them the platform on which to showcase their talents. Excellent and well deserved winners. Should probably have had the 2012 CL, too.
David Hax oh don't bring that final up please. That should be one of the most unfair finals in the history of football. How can a team be so lucky?Chelsea condeded a goal which turned out to be offside, by a milimeter, Bayern had like 30 corners and a shit ton of shots (Petr Cech had the match of his life that night) and managed to score 1 in the last 80 mins, Chelsea had their 2nd corner in the last minute, and Drogba scored, Bayern got a penalty on extra time, and Robben missed, they went on penalties, had a 1-0, and still blew it. Im still pissed off from that final..
Oli To be fair Chelsea won fair they were robbed at 2009 by Barca. Why don't people complain about that? Chelsea beat Bayern without cheating. I'm a Manchester fan and I have to admit that Chelsea worked as a team and won because of that. Bayern were better but didn't play as a team. Everyone was selfies and was trying to score for themselves.
What I like that Bayern so much is the fact that they can play whatever the way they want to. They have tremendous skills, superb techniques and tactics and what makes them stand out above Barcelona of 09' & '11 is their height and strength. They can play tiki taka, can play counter attack game. In my opinion they are the most complete and efficient team I've ever seen. In that period of 11' - 13' no team came close to beat them!
+prospecial No, Hummels was Bayern's best defender by a long shot last season. And if we're counting fullbacks, Lahm and Alaba were obviously better than Martinez too. I think Martinez should return to the DM position. He always looks to much better there. Unfortunately, the rest of Bayern's midfield can't get anywhere close to the 2012-13 level after losing Schweinsteiger and Kroos.
i would say hummels and javi were on the same level and held the fort for the whole season cant agree on the full backs though, lahms decline was obvious (he was still pretty good ofc) and alaba had the worst season ever (and the current one is even worse)
Martinez isn't as good as Hummels or Boateng mainly because he lacks the pace of Jerome and the positioning of Hummels. He's been caught out a lot at the back in recent years and takes a lot of risks which can leave the defence vulnerable.
I think Barca were stronger, just because of how they dominated teams, plus playing in a better league. However, that isn't to say Bayern weren't amazing too, and choosing between treble winners is a bit nit-picky :P
Vaas Montenegro Jupps Bayern lost 2 games in every competition that season less than peps Barca .. zidanes current Madrid squad didn't win a treble and I honestly don't think they're capable of beating Barcelona 7-0 over two legs
Well Bayern beating Barca 7-0 wasn't really as impressive as it sounds. They also lost 2-0 to a shit Milan side and they were lucky they had Messi to bail them out in the second leg! To make matters worst, they didn't even have Messi for the 2nd leg against Bayern! Barca were simply dogshite between 2012-2014 after Pep left!
Tbh the 2011 Barça side is the greatest club side to ever exist. Yes, not the 2009 side, even though Barça won more. 2011 Barça is much more revered for the way they manhandled teams, starving them of possession and their lovely passing. Manchester United were completely humiliated by Barça in the UCL final. You could see Sir Alex Ferguson shivering. THAT was the fear that the team instilled in its opponents. It was football from the gods, to sum it up.
Of the 5 trebles that I've seen (Man Utd's in 1999, Barcelona's in 2009 and 2015, Inter's in 2010 and Bayern's in 2013), this was the definitely the most dominant one. Man Utd's in 1999 was of course the most dramatic, with them winning the title on the last day of the season, their dramatic FA Cup semi-final replay against Arsenal with the Schmeichel penalty save and Giggs wonder goal, and the comeback against Bayern in the CL final. Barcelona in 2009 had that controversial CL semi-final against Chelsea, and failed to secure the La Liga title at the first attempt when they lost a 3-1 lead at home to Villarreal, although they were crowned champions the next weekend after Real Madrid lost against Valencia. Inter in 2010 from memory had a 13 point lead in Serie A at the half-way stage of the season. Then they were pegged back by Roma who had a 1 point lead with 4 games left, before a costly home defeat against Sampdoria allowed Inter to secure a title which at one stage had looked to be a procession on the final day of the season. Barcelona in 2015 looked to be crisis after their defeat away to Real Sociedad at the turn of the year, with Luis Enrique reported to be feuding with Messi and on the verge of getting sacked, before he settled on a fixed starting line-up with Suarez in the centre and Messi on the right, and they surged towards their second treble. Bayern in 2013 were just an unstoppable, all-conquering juggernaut. Yes they had that scare against Arsenal in the CL when they were clearly complacent in the 2nd leg. But they were clearly the better team over the 2 legs and still missed quite a few chances in the 2nd leg, so I don't think that they were lucky to go through.
Hey mate how about the Bayern next treble 2019-2020 ( actually sextuple) . They won the Bundesliga easily and literally destroyed and humiliated the teams in the champions League
This was definitely a vintage side, IMO better than the Barcelona side that had dominated the previous few seasons. A superb combination of technical ability, pace and power! Toni Kroos was immense in this system and it seems like Thomas Muller and Javi Martinez haven't quite been as good (or properly utilised) since that season. Be interesting to see what Heynckes can do this season.
Best football I have seen Bayern play was under Jupp, I haven't seen them play yet since he came in, but it's probably still to early. But I loved watching Bayern under him, some of the best football I have ever watched!
Best of our generation for sure ! Unbeatable that should have won back to back but I knew that only an incredible defensive team like chelsea would have a shot.
Anybody who prefers Guardiola's Bayern to that one ought to have their head checked. The team of Heynckes was a joy to watch and could face any opponent: English, Italian, Spanish... Guardiola's Bayern withered at the first sight of a Spanish opponent.
Boateng was an absolute beast before the 2015/16 season. Dante was quite good aswell, the 7-1 game against Germany and his move to Wolfsburg ended his career however.
Thank you soooooooo much for this tactic explained video. This team is one of the two teams I have enjoyed watching every single game of (apart from Barca reign). As a Bayern fan I was hoping Ancelotti would lead us back to these days but sadly it didn't happen. All I feel is that this is the way Bayern is meant to play.
Now when Jupp is back, Bayern need to bring young coach, such as Naglesmann, to be Jupp's assistant. Then, when Jupp retire again, he could continue his work.
These videos will make teaching youth futbal a whole hell of a lot more interesting. This in conjunction with the FIFA/PES video games.... a jump start to any player I'd say.
Robben was not reguler in 12/13 season. 4 forwards were mandzu, kroos, muller, and ribery in best 11. Robben settled in starting lineups when kroos got injured.
Pep didn't destroy that team. He just arrived at the wrong time, when Bayern had already achieved everything. If he was there after Jurgen Kinsmann, then regardless of the exits, he would be given a long term contract
It wasn't Kroos as CAM in most games it was Thomas Müller he was the best scorrer for Bayern in that Season and you say he was not in the starting eleven. Bullshit.
Fazi4k you do realise the Barca side that got humiliated 7-0 was a Barca side that were going though turmoil right? Tito Villanova was battling cancer and Jorgi Roura who was not a coach by any means had to take over the side while Tito was in New york receiving treatment. Jupp Henyckes was lucky he faced barcelona at a time that they were in crisis. Do you think he would have been able to beat Barcelona under Guardiola the season before ( when Guardiola was in charge) ? I think not.
If Jupp Heynckes continued to manage Bayern in 2018-19 season, Bayern could've won the treble and won all Champions League matches that season! I can't imagine how it could've been against Liverpool in both legs of the Champions League Round of 16 if Jupp managed Bayern in 2018-19 instead! This is something which could've happened one season earlier than in reality (in reality, Bayern won their second treble in 2019-20 season, with 100% win record in Champions League that season).
hahaahhah Who did this doesn't know anything about Bayern. The team begin season with robben in the bench bc he was injured and kroos take a place in the team bc of that, Muller was always part of the 11. But then Kroos get injured with Robben coming back to health and take his place again in the team.
Honestly Mourinho's 2011-12 Real Madrid should've beat them in the CL that year they just didn't have the luck. But probably best two leged tie I've ever seen.
Tactics Nice and well... But in the crucial phase of the CL Robben Just was unstoppable. He crushed some big teams almost on his own. Bayern were looking to get Robben one on one so he would make the difference
1213 season's first choice right winger was Muller, not Robben. Robben got to play regularly after Kroos' injury. He was nothing more than a back-up before it.
Dante was a great center back, back then. Pretty much all the players peaked in that season. Dortmund rushed them in the final for the first 20-30 minutes though. Could have easily went the other way. The years after that we could see Klopps style take its toll, when nearly all his team had long term injuries. BVB made its success mainly by willpower, bayern by a very low quote of mistakes. Even though tactics have developed since that year, both sides still would be hard to match. btw. look out for dortmunds offensive play, if the team stays together for 2-3 years, they'll change the game again with their flexibility. (dribblings, quick passing and positioning). Real allready struggled with their more like 2013 style of game aigainst them. When applied perfectly, creative players like Pulisic, Philipp, dahoud and also castro and Guerreiro are nearly unstoppable. Imagine 17/18 team with a 10 like Mickythrian... if Götze finds back to his roots they also could make the treble this year. (probably will happend to late to make it against Spurs and Real though)
Besiktas Coach Senol Gunes uses almost same tactic. I'm really very curious about to watch their battle on the field, i think their matches will be very exciting may be the most entertaining ones at knockout phase.
There is no precedent for a team with that many titles. It is not true that they should get a 5th one for 25 bundesliga titles. They got the 4th for 20 titles, meaning that realistically they have to reach at least 30 for the Bundesliga to consider it.
Bayern is in big trouble, Robben and Ribery were two players that turned bayern into a worldclass team. They' re getting old now and bayern have noone to replace them who even comes close to their level skill
The best club side of all time so far in my opinion is Barcelona 2015. 6 trophies in one year and amazing football all round. How is anyone else better than that?
this video suddenly appear again on the recommended video... Bayern seems to be struggling a bit this season, is it because of the new manager? or is it the players? I know that Bayern aren't the same anymore after Bastian and Kroos left followed by Lahm's retirement, also Robben and Ribery declining due to age... but there's just something not right with Bayern this season.
Strong reports that Jupp Heynckes is about to return to Bayern Munich for the season. What do you think about this? Could another treble be on the cards?
If he can manage to use James, the treble might be in sight.
Bayern need to stop using the aging wingers and start using james and muller then the treble could easily be won

Same as Mandzukic
Because he only had one outstanding season before being forced into a centre back role where he's decent but nowhere near world class. Just look at his performance against PSG.
Its probably because he was moved to center back. At cdm he is a beast
Beast at midfield, i get the feeling he will play there again! Hopefully...
Heynckes deserves to be mentioned as one of the best managers of all time. This team could literally do everything.
Also won the cl with real

Barcelona didn't get a treble in 2011, only in 2009 and 2015

Kroos left Bayern when Guardiola trained them. Not in Heynckes time.

Not to mention that referee didn't gave two penalties for bayern!
Can u explain the high pressure or possession tactics please.
Can you guys do one for Javier Irureta and his Deportivo who won la liga in the 2000s and got to CL semis also.
Nice one.
Ok, so, can somebody explain how it's possible to have 29 wins over 28 matchdays? Clearly I'm not understanding something correctly here.
Bayern had clinched the title after 28 matches. They played a lot more.
Do Stoger's Dortmund please... I'd love it...
tifo? do real madrid jose mourinho tactic 11/12 season? like to watch it. thanks admin

Could you do a video on Pep’s Barcelona? 2010-2011 season.
Best Team in the last decade.
Alongisde with Pep's Barcelona.
Stop smoking whatever you are smoking
Can you do Manchester United 2012-13 Season tactics explained? Thx!!
correct me if i am wrong arw bayern and ajax the only teams to do both treble and a 3 peat
Besiktas Coach Senol Gunes uses almost same tactic. I'm really very curious about to watch their battle on the field, i think their matches will be very exciting may be the most entertaining ones at knockout phase.
8-1 over 2 legs if i remember correctly lmaooo
Red Star tactic 1990/1991 Champions League and World champions

Can anyone explain why Bayern have 4* in their crest when they have won 5 UCL titles?
ADRIBOY01 the stars indicate the number of Bundesliga titles. 1st title 1st star, 3rd title 2nd star, 10th title 3rd star, 20th title 4th star.
ADRIBOY01 its about league titles. Bayern got 25 (so they would actually have 5 stars), however the league only allows 4 currently
mush Why does the league allow only 4?
There is no precedent for a team with that many titles. It is not true that they should get a 5th one for 25 bundesliga titles. They got the 4th for 20 titles, meaning that realistically they have to reach at least 30 for the Bundesliga to consider it.
No it has to do with how many world cups the league nation has won
should do sort dortmund under klopp tactics analysis
you should do hitzfield and reehgal
Bayern is in big trouble, Robben and Ribery were two players that turned bayern into a worldclass team. They' re getting old now and bayern have noone to replace them who even comes close to their level skill
The best club side of all time so far in my opinion is Barcelona 2015. 6 trophies in one year and amazing football all round. How is anyone else better than that?
Danny Lagan Gonzalez that was 2009
5 trophies. we lost the super cup to Bilbao
Yes, exactly like bayern 2013.
this video suddenly appear again on the recommended video...
Can you do a tactic session on Lazio in Seria A
Do a tactics tested for tuchels dortmund!
Muller made more impact than kroos at that position under Jupp
I wish we get a coach like Jupp or Hansi again. Need to get rid of Brazzo quick....
could you do brian clough's nottingham forest?
The best side I've ever seen play the game. Forget Barca, this Bayern team was physically and tactically absolutely superior. They killed tiki taka.
indeed
