Kimmich is now a DM, alaba is a CB, and now davies is LB, i'm impressed with their ability to adapt..
Sure. But Kimmich original position is CDM, he's play RB at Bayern as a replacement for Lahm, and when Pavard arrive, he's got the chance to play CDM, which is his original position.
Awkward Asri Kimmich is the 2nd best player after Messi
@@johannesvonsaaz3987 Behave yourself.
Funny thing is Kimmich was considered one of the best RBs when he was an RB, and same with Alaba... One of the best LBs when he was an LB... Insane 🔥
DEMONIC MACHINE completely the opposite mate. Pep moved kimmich to a centre back when he had a defensive crisis. He adapted very quickly and pep basically moulded him from how he got adapted into a centre back role for occasional games. In Pep Guardiola The Evolution, Pep really praises kimmich for his quality and how well he adapted to this position. Imo one of the most versatile players in world football, I reckon he could do a job up top ahahha
I not so boldly predict Thomas Muller would make a world class manager one day. He's charismatic, a natural outspoken leader, tactically prodigious, and has a sense for positioning and spacial awareness that is almost unmatched in the modern game. If he had the desire to manage I think he would become one of the world's best.
or he would be just one of the most entertaining pundits ever
I so wanted him to sign for Manchester United. What a player.
Bear Brilliant player love him since World Cup 2010.He will never leave Bayern imo which is a shame I’d love to see him in the Prem though
Muller and Xabi Alonso will be world class managers
Underrated don't know why many people hate him..
Crazy how Alphonso Davies is playing regularly at such a high level and is only 19
MrGreezersChumb
I mean, he is the roadrunner after all! Meep meep!
Injuries to sule and Hernandez
@@mnsalthard3110 Even with both fit he's not loosing his spot in the team anymore
He is only playing because sule and hernandez got injured
MATA FAKA but now he‘s playing regardless even if both were fully fit
you have to beat davies twice: get past him, then get away from him.
Which is almost impossible :D
😄👍
😂😂
Actually 3 times: your forgot catch up to him
Patrick Nugroho really messi was no where to be seen
The most important aspect about flick is he reaches the team unlike kovac or ancelotti. Look at Boateng or Müller
Muller is playing his best football in years. Love it.
Is süle injured?
@@luisa.breuer7287 yes since the start of the season
While that is true, it should also be noted that Flick isn't just the funny, charismatic guy that everyone likes, but he also is tactically very competent. Just look at the pressing or attacking patterns that he established.
@@luisa.breuer7287 Yes he injured the first three letters of your username
I swear I've seen David Alaba played numerous different position in different video...
Dude was LB at some point Tearing the Left side with Ribery, and Bayern had the best FullBack pair with him and Lahm.
On the other video he even played at RW, LW, CDM, unused subs 🤣 now he evolve into Ball Playing CB? Dude is literally everywhere, they should let him played the GK and let Neuer played the CB 🤣
And he plays CDM for his Austria football team .....19 year old alba was better than Alphonso Davies in the terms of positioning Alphonso heavily rely upon his speed but he is not as genius(game sense) as alba was and still is.
Alba is traditionally a CDM like Pavard and Kimmich
@@mnsalthard3110 As an Austrian Bayern Munich fan who watched hundreds of Alaba games for Austria and Club i strongly disagree I think he performs way worse the moment he steps into the midfield. He is brilliant at LB and now at CB but in CM he just does not have that big on an impact on the games
V-Factor around 2015 he was playing CB off and on if I recall correctly.... that is when Bernat played Left back
He's an average CM for Austria though. Alaba did already had number of games as CB in 2016 under Pep. He's one of the most versatile players in the world.
They are so stacked. Probably the strongest contenders for the UCL
Agree
Madrid will win🙄
They are definitely the favourites now, they have an extra month of match fitness, while all the other teams are just starting again
Atalanta might pull an upset on everyone.
@@mytime991 atalanta is just a mini bayern tbh
Literally all the Bayern players are underrated. Lewa has 44 goals now, Muller has about 20 assists, look at Davies running down the wing.. Pavard , a right back scoring four goals already, David Alaba (left back) playing centre back, Thiago controlling the possession, Gnabry cutting in and out in wing, Coman's pace and all this when both our center backs injured. Imagine a team where even Coutinho is being benched. We better get to the UCL final this time .
@@sportq9912 His numbers are good though and he had his moments. You can see he is crazily talented. Just now Bayern are playing at their absolute best and there is no place for Coutinho in the squad
Coman has to be exchanged with Sane, and byebye Coutinho he just isn’t Bayern level.
Roshan CH he just doenst fit in Bayerns playstyle... I rly feel how he slows everything down. Preferring to touch the ball three times more, go and pass backwards instead of rly searching the 1v1‘s. If there rly a chance, they should get Havertz - no matter how much he will cost

yeah but the bundesliga is shit compared to la liga or pl. so you cant rate thei scorers that high. but bayern munich is a really strong well balanced team with a strong mentality. the will win the cl this year.

Psg, Man City and Bayern are all looking good in the ucl this season. I think I probably would rate Bayern as slight favourites though.
Yeah only problem is theyre missing a decent backup for Lewandowski. If he gets injured they´re in serious trouble.
We are in the absolute best position to win the UCL. It has to happen this year
It’s the strongest bayern have looked in years, they’re completely revitalised and refreshed. Should be interesting to see them in the UCL, and see how intense the Bundesliga becomes in coming seasons
Just like under Jupp Heynckes.
Whats up with Munich becoming such an incredibly monster whenever their trainer is a "peoples-man"?
They are ready to roll through everyone again like they did in 2013.
They scored 84 goals in 23 matches under Flick, and only conceeded 18. 16/0 in goals in Flicks first 4 games. They are making every top team call them daddy.
Thiago is one of the most underrated players in the world, he's got to be the second-best midfielder in the world rn, his skill, and finesse at both dribbling and passing are obvious but his tackle and interception number are also insane, he is definitively the most well-rounded midfielder in the world, he dictates play, threads throughballs and dominates the mdifield with his aggression, if you watch bayern play you know this is true as well put some respect on this man Edit: Like this if u agree so that more people can learn how good thiago is and he can finally be recognized for his ability
I’d put him top 5 but not 2nd
He was grown in Lamasia school, can't be a bad midfielder. 😎
I was devastated when Barca let him go. 100% agree with your opinion.
Especially what he did against Chelsea was phenomenal!
@@4rce742 who is your 2nd then
I feel like Bayerns strength is the versatility of the players: Alaba, Kimmich, Pavard, Davies can all play min 2 Roles on a world class level. They can adapt very quickly and effectively in new defending situations. Kimmich, Davies and Alaba can then also move forward on a world class level while the players left behind can opt into any position needed.
It has always been the case, area before it was alaba ribery, robben lahm
@@almiradryan2019 Ribery and Robben can only play winger tbh. Lahm and Schweini were more versatile

Atleti really deserved a champions league over the last few years must be heartbreaking to lose 2 finals to a last min equaliser and a penalty shoot out. You cant get any closer I think that great team has passed and its a long way back but for Atleti fans I would like them to win one soon.

Pavard sucks
@@Parth-gx1nw ?
@@enes9809 pavard crossing is so terible,he isn't quick enough in coming back fast and he is not very good in making good attacking positioning
@@Parth-gx1nw I personally think he is a good counterpart of Davies. Davies is very offensive but Pavard is more defensive. When Davies helps offensively, pavard stays back and bayern forms a 3 at the back. He isn't the worst crosser either and as he stays back often he doesn't really need to sprint back (+ his positioning is good).
Flick always seem like the actual brain behind the operation. Germany looks so disorganized without him.
Merkel is not amused
He was the reason why Germany beat Brazil 7-1
@@ysltopic6903 Why this game in particular?
Pavard is one of the most underrated full backs in world football.
He is not under or overrated. He is what he is which is good.
Can't compare him to other Fullbacks because each single one of them has qualities the that others don't have.
pzzcc I understood none of this
And I thought he's supposed to play in his CB natural position or as their backup defensive option, but he is performing consistent as a RB right now.
@@ciaolecrack4968 even though he plays on right side he is more of a third CB. He is not good offensively, so offensive work relys on Davies, but Pavard is great defensively, he is tall and strong, most of the time he stays back and we see 3 CBs
What about my boy Niklas Sule :(
Flick's first role as head coach and mans already won a treble
Innit
They have basically gone back to their core strengths and you are seeing the results.
Treble this year, man. They're back to Conquer all Europe in the new decades
I was waiting for tifo football to drop this video.... Thomas Müller really plays a major part in Bayern Munich's and Germany's games
Germany's? Unfortunately not at the moment thanks to Löw..
Flick is the next Jupp Heynkes. He's rehabilitated Muller and Boatang. Bayern have no real competition anymore in Germany. They need to restart the CL series. I think Bayern could beat any of the big teams right now.
Dortmund and Leipzig are very goods teams but Bayern is in another level, best club in the world maybe, imposible to beat them in a league of 34 matches.
8-2 against barca
@@alexgg13 lol was gonna comment just that
The way Davies and Gnabry overlap on the left side with Gnabry covering for Davies defensively at times is great to watch
Yeah no one seems to be talking about gnabry who is often dropping back while Davies is running forward. Their understanding on left wing is so good
Passing in between themselves while flanking and running through the defense
One of the most unrecognizable managers out there...mad respect
Alphonso Davies is going to be a legend at Bayern if he stay there no cappppp
Maybe I should talk about Alphonso work ethic in my vids 🤔
You could also make a case for him being really liked by the players. He's a nice man, speaking to everyone, being very humble and making sure everyone is happy.
Excellent analysis on Hansi and his style. He has been a revelation for us. Hopefully we can grab the CL this year. Cheers.
as a Chelsea fan i wish Bayern Munich the best of luck this season
Use me as "i came after Bayern destroyed Barcelona" button.
i can’t see any team at the moment apart from maybe liverpool that are as strong as bayern at the moment and liverpool are out of the UCL so bayern are my favourites for the UCL this season
Mate liverpool wont do shit, yes the beat us last year but its a completely different squad now
Imagine Sane and Havertz to this
I think bayern should develop who they have right now, since they have fairly decent backups to begin with
@@user-vj7et7ze6g The wings are still the main problem. They have Gnabry, who is an undisputed starter. Then they have Coman, who didn't make any progress in his game since he arrived and Perisic, who is just a backup. So Sane would be an awesome addition. Also, Coutinho will leave at the end of the season and with Goretzka seemingly being transformed to a more defensive midfielder, Bayern only has Müller for the CAM position, so Havertz would be a good addition too.
If only they were smart enough to sign them. I'm still hoping for Sané but seems like they've already given up on Havertz and failed to sign Werner for a laughable 25 mio. € last summer.
@@michelseibriger12 we still want to sign havertz but not this summer, 2021 is priority.
Werner does not suit our system, he need lot space to continue play. He suits teams who don't like possession play

Who is here after 8-2 thumping of Barcelona?
Who is after 8-2 against Barcelona 🤯 . Their performance still shocked me
That Barca game brought me here, Flick is a genius
Along with his tactical genius, what makes Flick a better coach is his emotional attachment with the players. He knows how to reach out to them. Wonderful Man Management skills. He still carries that carefree youth. (How he followed Serge Gnabry put him in the headlock , sweet 😊)
it has paid of bayern devastated barca by 8-2
And the funny thing about it is, that Davies is a winger and Alaba a LB, which means, they switched the positions due to injuries of other players.. this team is actually just in a remedy line up, which turned out to be very dangerous on the pitch under flick..
Who's here after Bayern won their 6 UCL title!
Ok now this makes a lot of sense he was the assistant for Louw when they were ruthless in 2014 WC that team completely destroyed Brazil and that was the same mentality I saw when they played against Barcelona completely destroying them in the first half so that the opposition don’t even have believe to comeback
they are simply brilliant to watch. best team in europe this season
Same squad, different coach, different results. It's not just about the quality of the players, quality of a coach is very important and vital also.
They've definitely improved and are strong favourites for the UCL. They'll definitely be stronger and fitter by the time it resumes
Many people don't realise just how good this Bayern side is. Definitely champions league contenders
Did you know that Bayern highest transfer expense for a player was 42 million Euro until last year? That's insane for a team who is regularly fighting for the UCL title. Other top teams in the UCL did 100 million Euro transfers almost a decade ago. Also, Bayern doesn't have any debts like Real Madrid, Barcelona, Juve etc. Neither they have a big company or Arabs/Russians/Americans giving them tons of money like ManC, PSG, Chelsea, ManU, Red Bull etc. I know many Germans are super bored that Bayern is winning the Bundesliga over and over again but to be honest, of all top leagues in Europe, of all top teams in Europe, Bayern deserves the most to dominate/farm their league, since their dominance is 100% selfmade. No other European top team could claim that. Also interesting fact is, that Bayern doesn't pay the highest salaries. But somehow, their best talents stay until forever at Bayern, even "better" teams would pay higher salaries. Look at Alphonso Davies, based in Bayerns history we all could probably say that he won't leave Bayern before he hits 30, if he keeps playing like he does now, but he would get everywhere else a better salary.
you are wrong about the salaries. they dont have a player that earns crazy amounts like messi/ronaldo/etc but their average salary is en par with a team like man city
Yeah true but recently players started to demand more salary. Neuer got a new deal of 18mil/year, sane got 20 and now alaba wants 20
One of the best comments I've seen in months in footbal videos. The Bayern is amazing; the only other player that it is not mentioned is .. Manuel NEUER (in 20 years we will remeber him among Yashin, Zoff, Mazurkievicks, Buffon)
@@davidwellmann4985 No I am not wrong, since the top salary of Arsenal, Chelsea, United, City, Barca, Real, Juve etc. is higher than the top salary of Bayern. But that's not the point, what I meant is, if Bayerns offers you 20 million per year, there is definitely another club which would give the same player more.

Pep should watch this when he faces Bayern
Oh wait...
It is still relevant..
Prior to being Löw's assistant, Flick was also assistant to Giovanni Trapattoni at RB Salzburg (although briefly).
Alaba's flexibility and Müller's intelligence is the secret sauce. Thiago leaving will be a loss, but adding Sane's speed will be great for the team.
Bayern’s squad is ridiculous, They could play 4-2-3-1 and really win this years UCL. Neuer, Pavard Sule Alaba Davies, Kimmich Thiago, Coman Muller Gnabry, Lewandowski... Bench: Ulreich, Hernandez, Boateng, Goretzka, Martinez, Perisic, Coutinho... they could win the UCL easy

Your videos are so detailed they are amazing. I wouldn’t be surprised if a team approached you to do their analysis of opponents every week!
Germany need world class orthodox striker and centre back. Other positions have many talents
Flick's style at Bayern is actually very similar to Zidane's at Madrid. Also certain player roles.
Brilliant job as always
European Champions✨✨✨✨✨✨
Kimmich is the key he controls everything If he drops in deep he allows Davies to bomb forward Pavard basically becomes a third centre half so Bayern still can have solid defensive unit and the reservation of David alaba as a cb as helped a lot sule is the beast he is at the back also neur still the best
So in the midfield and attack r well sorted easily Bayern can win the UCL this year if Psg does not show up in the final especially Mbappe.
Thanks for this video, I had been asking for it for quite some time. Appreciated
So great that you uploaded this at this time, started modelling my new FM save around Bayern's side the other day 🤜🤛
Best Team in World 🔥🔥
Davies should get more credit than just been an athlete with great pace. He is also smart in his positioning also his instincts is second to none.
I'm here after 8-2
A few years ago, Davies used to be a pacy striker who would thrive on through balls behind the back line he could run onto.
I love how your channel has evolved over the years.
Flick was the mastermind behind Löw. After Flick left the National team it really went down for germany.
The Raumdeuter is back!
Flick is almost like a continuation of the work Jupp Heynckes put in during his tenures, especially with comparisons to how the squad was playing during that treble winning season. Their best quality is adaptability. They can beat you in multiple ways and address whatever situation the game demands of them. You can see elements of other coaches as well (especially Pep's confidence with ball retention), but this team is a very dangerous proposition, especially with the younger players that they have and will be bringing through. Pace, quality, strength, etc.
Agreed.
I've watched football for my entire life, but this channel is the first one that got me interested in the actual tactics. Thanks for that.
Also, I'll try out some of this stuff in PES2020. Maybe I can improve my squad. :)
Müller = Busquets. If they’re given proper structure, they’ll make their team fly.
They are literally opposite of each other pmao
Davies needs a separate video what he's bringing to that team at the age of 19 is incredible. Especially if you consider before this season he was seen as an attacking winger
Nouman already did
There are still defensive issues but Flick made Bayern an attacking beast. I honestly didn't expect Davies and Pavard to be this good.
