Could you do a video on recommendations for Dry skin that struggles with acne? I used to struggle with this issue and even though my skin is much better now there's a huge lack of content on RUclips for people that struggle with dry acne prone skin.
I really like how you recommend routine by skin type esp sunscreen, lots of sunscreen reviews don't consider dry skin situation and most mineral sunscreens are soooo drying. Still trying to find a new fit sunscreen while drying out using tretinion.
Your description boxes are so on point. I would also love a video on product recommendations for normal skin that has periods of breakouts and dry patches. I struggle with how to spot treat these areas, and often find I overdo it and end up with irritation or almost over-moisturized dry areas that end up breaking out. So annoying. These vids are so helpful!

In case any other dry skin viewers are also eczema sufferers, I don't recommend the Versed eye cream! It really flared mine up, maybe from the olive oil. Other than that, these are all good products for dry skin!! Another great moisturizer is the La Roche Posay Cicaplast Baume - that stuff SAVED my skin.

Your recommendation on the Cerave is soo right, I am a bit oily and I have to mix the cerave with the australian gold because I find the Cerave to be a little bit too glowy for me, so definitely right for dry skin 👍

I used Cerave products for like 8ish months without any problems I liked the cleanser and moisturizer a lot. Then all of a sudden out of nowhere it started burning the hell out of my skin. My skin isn’t sensitive and I never have weird reactions to products but ya I was sooooo disappointed because I really did enjoy this cleanser a lot😭😭😭

Cosrx has a new vitamin C with propolis serum that is amazing!! For sensitive dry skin folks like myself! Highly suggest vitamin C is brightening and a great antioxidant and the propolis is super antiseptic, healing, soothing, and super hydrating! Oh and of course, it’s fragrance free and affordable!

I have dry sensitive skin and I REALLY don't agree with the Elta MD physical sunscreen the one that is spf41 mineral, while it does feels amazing at first, but during the day dries me like crazy and lets not talk about reapplying please!! horrible for me!! I hate wasting things but I had to stop using it. Have in mind I don't wear makeup and I can use really thick moisturizer like the moisturizer cream form Cerave even the cetaphil one durning the day like nothing.

I suffer from dry slightly irritated sensitive which can be reactive skin I love Clinique moisture surge but a good budget alternative which i also love is neutrogena hydro boost gel, I also use the spf version but prefer the gel one
I’m unfortunately one of the people that have burning from ceraVe moisturizer. Im so sad since everyone LOVES it. I thought it was me but everything makes my skin burn pretty badly except for the hydrating cleanser. I had to go back to my tried and true which is cetaphil. I know everyone loves ceraVe over cetaphil but at least my skin doesn’t burn from it. The one I prefer that’s a little thicker is the daily advance with Shea butter, it’s fantastic!!!
Cerave also started burning my face- thanks tretinoin. I also recommend the Illiyoon ceramide ato concentrate. Very creamy but also light. no stinging at all.
although I'm lean on dehydrated oily skin these days, washing my face once a day has left me some type of waxy feeling. somehow it produces more oil. so i was confused, is it dry or oily?? so for my skin no matter what I had to wash twice a day. it just that I chose very gentle cleanser with very minimal time. hence my skin is somewhat better now
Yes the C serum 10 % AOX, Compared to CE ferulic, it is much cheaper, it is formulated under the Duke Antioxidant patent so I might think it's effective.
It's cheaper than the original product but still pretty pricey ☹️ I'm still unsure what would separate it from more affordable options like Paula's choice (which isn't even the most affordable but seems similarly formulated)
it didn´t happen with feeling my skin burn when using cerave products, but since I added more products in my skincare, it just started to happen. For example: double cleanse with an oil cleanser first and then use this cerave hydrating facial cleanser...now my skin buuuuuuuurns when I put the hydrating facial cleanser in my skin. Do you know what cerave ingredient might has been causing this?

Thanks for all you do in putting them together. It must be a lot of work! I would like to try a gentle chemical exfoliator but unsure if I need it. I use tretinoin .25 every other night for hormonal acne. Do you know if tretinoin is exfoliating? I read mixed things.
of course so happy to help! Tretinoin can be thought of as an exfoliant. Not the same exact chemistry, but helps prevent pores from clogging & encouraging skin cells to shed. You definitely don't need a chemical exfoliant on top of tret, but can!
I see the cerave smoothing cleanser with I think salicylic acid in it and the first couple of times I tried it did irritate the skin afterwards but after about 2/3 weeks use i persisted as it takes a while for your skin to adapt and it was fine

Hi again! So I'm curious 🤔 is the cerave hydrating cream to foam and the hydrating similar? I am thinking for the pm to cleanser my face 1st with micellar water to remove makeup and for my second cleanse use the cerave hydrating cream to foam. I want to cleanse my face in the am with the hydrating cleanser, but not sure if the hydrating cleanser and the hydrating cream to foam are the same? If this makes any sense.
I am looking for a sunscreen that when I apply concealer to my under eye it doesn’t become patchy. From your recommendation sunscreens which would be best? Yes love the Vanicream moisturizing lotion for sensitive skin! Also works well with rosacea prone skin! It has helped calm down my flare ups

If you have dry skin and want an Elta MD sunscreen go for the UV daily over UV clear. Just my experience but UV clear is great for normal to oily skin
