Die kann froh sein, dass sie keine zusätzlichen Lüftungsöffnungen in der Außenwand hat. Die Aktion ab 09:15 war ausgesprochen Leichtsinnig vom Maschinisten.

I've seen a lot of demolitions, in most of them the building was in very bad condition, but in this case : What is wrong with this one?. Structure seems to be ok. Rehabilitation is a good way to take profit of a building. Clean walls and do a new proyect. Waste of time, money and material.

The school in this building has moved to another modern location. It would have been pretty expensive to renovate the old building and transfer it into residential apartments. So the owner decided to erect a new building

not enough space for scaffolding or crane holding protection wall, the near building was cleaned after demolition job

***** Yes, he eventually caught on and did indeed snip the floor columns to speed the demolition along. ;) In demolition you realize the building's weak point and use it to bring it down on itself quickly, efficiently and safely.
Some demo operators have more experience than others or maybe he was just enjoying such a nice machine. ;)

Nope. Too much rebar. There's no way that thing was going to fall down. Besides, you have to break everything up to get it into trucks. Might as well do that in the open air. Plus, at 10:51, you can see that someone was home next door in the brick building.
